Naruto and Sasuke's Chuunin exams

So as we know, both Naruto and sasuke are still genin. And before they allow one of them to become hokage, I really can see the elders wanting them to at least pass the chuunin exams first. But lets face it, Naruto and Sasuke are currently both way to powerful to be in any kind of competition with mere genin, so I think a special test will be prepared for them. This is what I came up with.


I can see the village allowing naruto and sasuke to individually face off in a all out battle against each of the past hokage (in edo form of course), to show their worthiness of advancing to the next rank.

Starting from the 4th and working their way to the 1st. This will undoubtably allow us and the village to see their battle progression since part 1 and it will also actually give us a reason to see flashbacks of all the hokage (1-4) as they remember themselves in their prime battling as hokage.

I think it would be a epic and appropraite way for sasuke and naruto to obtain the status of jonin. And before you guys say they wont beat Hashirama (fanboyism), please remember that this is a manga, and the main characters tend to always come out on top. If everybody had the same mindsets as you guys(hashirama fb) then we probally would have never seen kid goku defeat king piccolo(seemed impossible), Zatch Bell become king of mamotos, Luffy defeat crocodile, or yusuki urameshi defeat younger toguro.

So what do you guys think, would that be a appropriate way for naruto and sasuke to earn jonin status and be next in line for title of hokage?​

Naruto saved the entire ninja world.

He has the power.
He has the qualities that a hokage has to have.
And he he has the acknowledgement of the entire shinobi race.

He is going to become hokage.

Fighting previous hokage has nothing to do with the above mentioned and would be a waste of time.

First of pain is not stronger then hashirama.

Nagato would give him a good fight but,pain would be demolished.

Secondly,that is A-B-C logic and that does't work in naruto

When you are able to beat one person that doesn't mean you beat anyone else who loss or won against that person.

The skill set determines the winner not ABC logic

Its not that stupid of a idea if you are a fan of the manga. A lot of people would love to see a battle of the potential future hokages with the past hokages. especially if it gave us justified reasons to get flashbacks.

And it doesn't matter if you are powerful or not. Itachi was had hokage wisdom at the age seven and was a powerful shinobi, yet he wasn't made hokage during his anbu days.
