If we're talking overall game, it's not even close. Fernando Torres had more in his locker. And Drogba was a league above Trezeguet when it came to being a target man. You could put that fella against 3 CBs and he'd still take 'em to the cleaners every single time. Monster.

Sheva was way better than torres... Glorified poacher? Do you even know what poacher even mean? Sheva has technique and speed more than torres, heck even owen was better than torres.... Not to mention he played in the last glory days of serie a where they had a better defender than the BPL, torres can't even do $h1t against Juventus....

Sorry but that's just a laughable claim. Shevchenko clearly wasn't as explosive as Torres, nor could he create goals from nothing as well as the Spaniard could do when he was in his pomp. Michael Owen? Better than Torres? Come off it mate. I doubt you'd even find Liverpool fans who'd agree with that. Next you're going to tell me Inzaghi or flipping Andy Cole were better than Torres too...Sheva came to the Premier League and was an absolute joke.

I said he couldn't create something from nothing as well as a Fernando Torres firing on all cylinders, which was clearly the case. You make that point although that suggests to me that Shevchenko couldn't cut it in another top quality league, unlike Torres who's done/did well in both La Liga and the Premiership. Abramovich is a clown. Why do you think no-one else was stupid enough to offer that kind of money? He went for £30 million in the end, and was definitely a waste of money. Don't try and base things on transfer fees. Andy Carroll went for £35 million for crying out loud.
Listen, i'm not saying Sheva was a bad striker. Far from it. He was a very good player. But he just wasn't as complete as Torres. I don't know why you're trying to down play El Niño's accomplishments.

Torres, Drogba?
Drogba was good only in Chelsea. But, he's a great striker, no argue about that. Torres isn't that old, but plays awful. His prime was in Liverpool for two, three years and that is it. He's is good, but nothing special about him. Van Nisterloy, Shevcenko and David were great players, and lasted several years, not only two or three.

Drogba spent 8 years at Chelsea, so what do you expect...
I said Fernando Torres in his prime. Even if that was only for 2 or 3 years, the level at which he was performing was clearly beyond anything Shevchenko, Van Nistelrooy or Trezeguet could manage. They may've bested him in terms of longevity, but ability? No way.
Man, now you've mentioned Raul & Rooney. Noticed you've got Robin Van Pussy on there too. But no Bergkamp. SMH.
