How strong is obito physically?

-He was able to tank a few rasengans and walk it off like nothing happen, even took one to the face.

-Tanked exploding tags konan set on him [even tho he dodged most of them].

-Stopped the Executioners blade with one hand.

-Tanked getting stabbed by Kakashi through the chest.

-survived the Rock smash [even tho madara saved him].

-Able to transplant his Rinnegan eye himself and take the pain.


The guy clearly can tank many things and walk it off like nothing happend. Could this be due to Senju Dna?

Well his mask took the brunt of one, his shoulder was Hashi cells so that regenerated, and later on he was the Juubi's jinchuriki so ...

It is obviously due to the Hashirama DNA. Tsunade is only partly Senju, but she still survived when Madara bisected her or when Orochimaru stabbed her heart.

Yes, Obito survived after his chest got blown out by Kakashi ... but this was due to him becoming the Juubi's Jinchuriki right at that moment. Survival does not equal "tanking".

An example of tanking would be all the attacks that Obito took as the Juubi's jinchuriki (before they started using Sage techs) where he came out completely unscathed.

And yes, Obito surviving after being crushed by the rocks was pure plot. Mostly thanks to Madara's attachment of (you guessed it!) hashi cells.

Kakashi was able to take the transplant of a sharingan as a boy without much difficulty - so I don't see him putting in the Rinnegan as any sort of feat. Agree to disagree I suppose.

Anyhow, I will repeat that most of his survival was due to hashi's cells, then later being the Juubi's jinchuriki. And certainly the plot helped out when it was needed (like Kakashi not initially killing him when he had the chance).

EDIT -> I would say that hashi cells have put pre-jinchuriki Obito on the same level of resistance to injuries as users of Sage Mode. Well except Hashirama himself I suppose, since he has both.

If obito was going to die anytime soon after that attack, he would of died in the kamui dimension which he didn't.

He had enough time to leave the kamui dimension and seal the juubi inside him.
