Due to the overuse of TnJ(same speeches countless times, making they lose their meaning, pointless dialogues, villain getting tnj'd in the wrong time) and the lack of efective and epic action and fights made naruto quite... meh
Bleach on the other hand has a lot of potential.

I got into Bleach a little bit and started from the beginning. The arc where Ichigo saves Rukia was absolutely some of the best story telling ever! But what happened after was so boring that I just quit watching and dropped it. I might actually try to catch up so I can see what all the fuss is about though.

I really can't see your point. Zero division was announced years ago... When they said that some captains were chosen to go there.

About the quincy, the way they hid themselves was pretty clever. Why would the shinigami suspect such a ploy ? I think it was a lever story ploy, way better than some cheap stronghold somewhere in the human world

You should get more into Bleach. The story slowed down after the Aizen arc, but it was a transition arc and it got awesome with the 1000 years war arc.

Bleach is just horrible. If there was an anime made for little kids and selling toys it would be Bleach.
The amount of times the generic looking characters just stand in front of each other talking is asburd.

" Look at my super generic all powerful weapon , heres 20 flashbacks and my life story and ideals"

Attacks with generic power that results into nothing more that bright colored lights and explosions that somehow break rock but can't destroy clothing and hair.

" Oh that didn't work then let me use my other super mega attack that Im just pulling out my ass BUT first let me explain to you how my attack works for another 5 mins with cutscenes ".

Bleach has some of the most generic characters I have ever seen. Most of I can give 2 shits about. Plot so bloated and boring and seasons that have no feeling they are connected together. Almost as bad as InuGAYsha.

" Oh lets go kill my brother." Next Season "oh lets go kill my brother again because he didn't die But with LOVE plot involved" Then they make a movie doing what? " Oh lets go kill my brother again!"

Shows like that make me hate Anime as I grew Older. That's the kind of nonsense you don't watch when you have a female over.

Atlease In naruto the talking pushes the story forward. Flash backs give great depth and over all their own little stories. Nagatos History was enough to beat anything in the bleach universe in story telling.

The Rescue Shinigami arc is one of the best arcs ever. It slowed down after that but it was just a setting for the next one. You should continue reading/watching (reading is better imo)

Bleach has tons of potential as of now. The last arc was EPIC and left some awesome after thoughts. Ichigo, Byakuya, Renji, the Quincies, Ishida, ****ing KENPACHI!! and many others. (hopefully Grimmjow)
