You should just leave them with their current abilities

Lee with intel wins because he'll go gates knowing his base style won't work. Without intel, which would be the most likely situation if they actually fought because Zabuza would put up the mist still hidden so Lee will have no idea with what's going on or who he's dealing with so Zabuza will get the surprise attack and probably win.
