The truest ninja in this series is itachi. Itachi literally gave up everything he had, just to save the village and his brother. Itachi didnt have someone else do everything for him. He himself made the choice, and sacrificed himself.

I agree that we shouldnt try to play, if X didnt happen then Y would have happened.

If danzo didnt do those things, then it couldve been someone worse like oro doing those things.

If danzo didnt do those horrible things, and nobody else did things like that, then things would most likely be like you say.

IM sure danzo had a role to play in blameing the uchiha for the 9 tailed attack.(aka the main thing that started this slippery slope of bad fortune for uchihas.)

Danzo became so obsessed with power coz he saw himself as the one "worthy of leading" and end the conflict/using any method, even Kishi gave him a heroic theme when he died in the anime (meaning that he wasn't all bad).

still i can understand why a lot of people would hate the character ........................ but, to me Danzo was one of the truest/sickest shinobi's in the series (even if i don't agree on some of his methods).

No, it wasn't Kakashi...it was Boulder.
Boulder was responsible for everything
It didn't kill Obito. Had it done so, it would've prevented the war, the death of Jiraiya, the destruction of the hidden leaf...etc

Danzou's is at fault for a lot of things that went wrong, but as much wrong as he did it was Hiruzen that let Danzou's run wild, do he deserves some of the blame.
