They would survive that. They have Jiraiya, Hiruzen, Gai, and Kakashi.

But the village wouldn't have survived if Hidan and Kakuzu were there as well. Or if Orochimaru was still in the Akatsuki during the invasion.

Probably Kisame. Kisame would take out the a huge portion of the village but would eventually be stopped by Gai and the help of other jounin of the village. Kisame's arsenal is great for taking on a village too so I think it would be fitting.
