Plus he has 2 teammates one of them being able to see 360 degrees around to warn him in case a heart gets close, plus one of them has his own defense and Tenten has her fan. When Lee is fending off with 1 or 2 hearts, others can protect him, warn him, and cover themselves until his other tech.

How is Neji going to warn Lee..when the flame making friction he is creating is basically deafening his ear drums...a force of that magnitude is by no means silent. Besides Neji won't be able to warn him if he's going up against Kakuzu CQC.

In that case Team Guy definitely takes this match up. Kakuzu won't be able to keep up with a 7 gates Lee and while he could still possibly take him 1v1, cause of the 5 hearts, having Neji there to land some deadly hits while he's distracted should be enough to turn the match in Team Guy's favor.

Thus Tenten, the true reincarnation of Rikodou won't have to lift a finger!

If these techs clash, Hirudora is the one which would came on top by feats.
Hirudora just gets through the wind and crushes the mask.
And it is not have to be Hirudora, Asakujaku can fend off very well.

The people on the manga are shouting their own techniques while performing them and fighting Neji can very well warn Lee while he is in CQC with Kakuzu.

Neji is the biggest factor in this fight, and believe it or not, TenTen also is quite useful in this fight, Lee can be seen as a distraction with his gates and blinding speed. Neji can use Juken which would have heavy effects on Kakuzu's hearts. Part 1 Hinata nearly suffered from

. This is a weaker Juken as well, I wonder how quick current Neji would cause cardiac arrest with Juken... This would allow Neji to attack the doton mask with Juken, while Lee can distract Kakuzu (without his gates), and TenTen can ward off any incoming attack with the opposite element with her fan. Neji doesn't have to worry about being attacked as he can always use his ultimate defence, Kaiten, which will block any attack Kakuzu has to offer.

If the Doton mask is truly defeated, Kakuzu would have no chance in wining such a fight, as he would lose the ability to harden his skin with Doton Spear. If he were to lose his ability to harden certain body parts, the obvious would occur. Lee turns on 7 gates and destroys Kakuzu (and maybe a mask while he's at it) in a Taijutsu battle while TenTen and Neji ward off the masks.

I feel like Lee's gates should be limited though, to whatever skills he's actually been shown to have. Lee even having Hirudora and the other gate abilities are basically just speculation.

It has nothing too do with the feats, when two forces collide, they tend to negate at the very least Hirudora will be severely weakened.
