Rin being a better character than Sakura?

Sakura has had more screen time so we have seen many sides of her while we have only seen a little of Rin and always in favorable conditions.
Sakura does have more personality. Sakura shares personality traits with Rin. They're both kind and caring.

Rin IS a one dimensional character, if you can't see that then we have been reading different mangas.

The point here is that Rin actually only SEEMS nicer and kinder than Sakura because we haven't seen much of her. And Sakura has been in the manga from the beginning, Sakura shares almost the same kindness with Rin but you are just blinded by her other character traits, which make her more humane and relatable... You know... Flaws.

This thread is not about who you like better, but Rin isn't humane at all. Her character hasn't been built up much at all. We haven't seen much of her personality, only, that she is nice and kind. Everyone relating to Rin has some kind of a victim syndrome.

ARGH. How can you be so infuriating? You do realize that Rin DOES lack depth? DO YOU? SHE HAS A ONE SIDE RIGHT NOW. I want to know more about her BEFORE saying that her character is better written than Sakura's because it's not.
This thread is NOT about who'd you rather spend your day with. Of course everyone would choose the one without flaws which is not humane or relatable at all.

Rin isn't perfect. She was into the cool guy on her squad, seemingly without much reason besides Kakashi being a prodigy, much like Sakura with Sasuke. Also, she didn't acknowledge Obito's love for her and it can be argued that she led Obito on. Growing up in a war, she decided that if she couldn't change the world herself, she would inspire the person who would do so, namely Obito. If you think about it, she kinda sounds like your stereotype cheerleader. Add that to the fact that I also know a couple girls like Rin and you can definitely say she's a humane character.

I have never said I like Sakura better than Rin. :| Rin is seems to be a nicer character because we haven't seen that much from her. Sakura has shown the same kind of kindness towards Naruto.
Sakura does have more depth as a character than Rin thus she is a better written character.
Rin is pretty much perfect which supports her final decision to commit suicide to protect everyone.
We need a Rin gaiden.

Well making a thread about people thinking rin is a better character (which has alot to do with preference to certain personality and traits of a character, especially in a situation like this where rin cant be judged off anything than her personality) it was safe to assume you did.

It did develop her character a little, wek now more about what she was than before.

we have seen many sides of sakura and they all suck, i beleive that is why she is hands down the most disliked character in Naruto

So Sakura caring for Naruto and other people and will to help are sucky traits?
