The Legendary Sage of Konoha's Legacy, Chapter 5;
Having reached the 5th part of his six parts long story, Uzumaki Naruto the 2nd looked a bit tired as he yawned out before taking another sip of the glass with water, emptying it in the process. After all, the man had just turned 100 years old, and telling major ass long stories wasn't really his specialty anymore. However, his great great grandson, Ikari, never doubted his storytelling skills for a moment, as he was more eager now than he had ever been before.
Ikari: Oooooh?!
Naruto: Huh?
Having to take another break because Ikari interrupted him, Naruto seemed to have a puzzled look on his face.
Ikari: This is... this is the... the 5th part of this story begins now, correct?
Naruto: Mhm, yeah?
Ikari: Isn't this the part you always ended your story on when I was younger, because you feared that it was too... Well, let's just say that my eyes, or ears for that matter, wasn't ready to hear it yet? Thinking about it, I don't think I've ever heard passed this point!
Naruto: Oh? I can't really remember, maybe you are right about that...
Ikari: Well then, don't stop now! This is the part where your late brother Sasuke fought your teenage love interest Noh, and you yourself fought the predecessor of the 10th Hokage of Konoha, right?
Naruto: Yes, although at that point, Senju Tadakatsu was nowhere near becoming the 9th Hokage of Konoha just yet, not until my father, Minato, stepped down ages later... Anyways, let's get on with it then. After all, it is indeed getting late, so I'll try to wrap this story up before it gets too late.
Ikari: Right, right, please go on.

A few days had passed since the Quarter-Finals, and out on Konoha's training-field were Naruto and his Sensei and grandfather, Jiraiya, out preparing for the upcoming Semi-Final against the fearsome Tadakatsu Senju.
Jiraiya: Hmm...
Naruto: What?
Jiraiya: I'm not saying you are wrong, but I still stand by my point.
Naruto: Why, don't you think I'll be able to beat Tadakatsu, Sensei?!
Jiraiya: Well... Not with just raw powers I suppose...
Naruto: Blah, then what do you propose?
Jiraiya: Did I say that I was proposing anything?
Naruto: What?! You can't expect me to believe that my own grandfather and Sensei, tells me straight up to my face that I can't beat my opponent in the Semi-Final of the Chunin Exam by ordinary means, and not having a plan on how to approach the battle?!
Jiraiya: Ehehe, calm down now, let me think...
Naruto: ... Think? Argh, I should have just let grandpa Hiruzen train me instead, at least he would have had a plan.
Jiraiya: Idiot! I was the 7th Hokage of Konoha!
Naruto: Blah!
Laying his right index finger in the corner of his right eye, dragging skin downwards, Naruto let out his tongue as if he couldn't care less.
Jiraiya: Huff... For speed, train with Hiruzen, for power, train with Jin, for defense and deadly techniques, train with Itachi... But, if you want all that combined into one, train with me!
Naruto: Hahaha! So you're saying that Hiruzen is training Sasuke because Sasuke bases most of his attacks on speed, Jin is training with his son Tadakatsu, because the Black Panther of Konoha and his son, bases most of their attacks on raw power, and that Itachi, Noh's uncle, is training her because she bases her skills in defense and counter attack? And you supposedly beats all of them combined?? I call bullshit! Where on earth is my father when I need him!
Crossing his arms together, Naruto seemed to be very little pleased with his grandpa.
Jiraiya: Idiot, Idiot! You know perfectly well that the Hokage, and the other Kages for that matter, are unavailable as Sensei during the Chunin Exam, as it's against the rules for them to help out any participants! Otherwise, you and Sasuke could have just trained with your father, and Noh could have trained with Mu and Saria! And not to forget, Shingen could have trained with Ebizo before the previous round! Think before you speak or act, that will be the key to beating Tadakatsu!
Naruto: Strategy?? You know damn well that Sasuke and Sakura are the better strategists in our team!
Jiraiya: Oh my... And you're even complaining when you get a previous Kage to help you out with your training... But yeah, Strategy, Speed and good Defense will be the key beating him...
Naruto: ...
Jiraiya: We have three more days to prepare you for the match, so first, we need to take away the one power advantage Tadakatsu has over you...
Naruto: And that is?
Jiraiya: Jin, the Black Panther of Konoha's two legendary Heaven and Hell Swords, the ones Tadakatsu, his son, now possess.
Naruto: What do you mean take away? Like, steal them?
Jiraiya: IDIOT?! No! What I mean, is to give you an equal footing. Come, hand over your short sword for a bit.
Pointing at Naruto's back, Jiraiya then signaled Naruto to hand over his sword as Jiraiya took it into his hands. Before Naruto knew what he was up to, Jiraiya had suddenly broken it in two.
Naruto: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!
Jiraiya: You see how easily this one broke? Imagine going up against Tadakatsu's swords in battle with it...
Naruto: *Gulp*
Jiraiya: That's why, for this special occasion, I'm going to lend you this for now.
Walking over to a nearby rock, Jiraiya uncovered something from behind it as he carried it over to Naruto. It was clothed in some sort of leather, hiding its identity.
Naruto: What's that?
Jiraiya: Uncover it and find out.
Handing it over to him, Jiraiya had a smile on his face as Naruto unwrapped the clothing around it.
Naruto: This is?!
Jiraiya: Yep, it sure is...
Naruto: You want me to have the Sword of the Thunder God?!
Jiraiya: After I recovered it from that masked leader, I haven't had time to decide what to do with it, whether to store it or terminate it, or... So, you might as well have it for now at least. But I don't want to see you running around town like a maniac with it, it did after all belong to the 2nd Hokage of Konoha!
Naruto: Right, right! You are awesome grandpa! With this, I'll surely win!
Jiraiya: Now, now, one step at a time... Try wielding it first, take a few swings and get to know it better.
Swinging the sword through the air a couple of rounds, Naruto began to get the hang of it quite rapidly as Jiraiya was applauding him.
Naruto: Its length sure is different from that short sword I was using, but, I should be able to get used to it...
Jiraiya: That's not all...
Naruto: Oh?
Jiraiya: The Sword of the Thunder God is more than just a simple sword...
Naruto: ...
Jiraiya: As starters, the sword can be retracted back into the hilt for carrying purposes, and emanated from it when it comes to use.
Naruto: Yeah, I see what you mean.
Still swinging the sword around, Naruto then deactivated it before he reactivated it again.
Jiraiya: The sword is infused with pure electrical energy, however, this energy, in the hands of the right wielder, can be altered or even manipulated to the users own desires... Seeing as you have lightning element and wind element, that should come in handy.
Naruto: Whoa...
Jiraiya: Plus, the sword reacts to the users chakra, and by learning how to use it correctly, you can infuse the sword even further with both your lightning element, and perhaps, even your wind element too...
Naruto: Grandpa may I ask... How is it that you know so much about this sword?? I thought it was destroyed ages ago...
Jiraiya: Well, like that masked leader said, the sword was reforged by unknown means to serve a purpose... I believe that purpose has come into play now. The reason I know a thing or two about it, is because my father, together with my father-in-law, were the ones to break it to begin with.
Naruto: Hmm...
Jiraiya: Anyways, try to experiment with it for awhile and see what you can accomplish, in the meantime, I'm going to do something else...
Naruto: Do what?? And what about my training?!
Jiraiya: Easy now... When I return, I'm going to show you an amazing technique, and with it, you might actually be able to win this fight.

Ikari: So you actually got that sword all those ages ago? I thought it was something you acquired in your later days...
Naruto: Well, the sword itself is indeed powerful, but I needed more than the sword to stand a chance against Tadakatsu...

As three days had passed, the Chunin Exam Semi-Finals were upon the young promising Shinobi of Konoha, as the arena where it all would take place, already had filled up to its maximum.
Minato: *Kremt* If I may gather your attention please...
The noisy stadium got silent for a bit at the voice of the Hokage speaking out to them, as they were all waiting for the first match to begin.
Minato: The first Semi-Final of the day, is a battle between Uchiha! One of them is my very own son, Sasuke, while the other is the daughter of my pleasant company for today, the 7th Tsuchikage of Iwagakure, Uchiha Mu, and of course, the lovely Saria, the 6th Raikage of Kumogakure. Her name is of course Noh, and without stalling it further, I want to wish both contestants the best of luck!
Reaching his hand out in the air, Minato was applauded by his fellow Kages as the arena broke out in massive roar and celebration. Down on the field came Noh and Sasuke as the two of them were about to get ready for battle. On a balcony not too far from the Kages sat the likes of Naruto, Tadakatsu, Magoichi and Sakura, as the four of them were excited for the first battle to start. Although not admitting it, trying to act calm and focused, Tadakatsu was actually rooting for Noh, deep down in his heart, even though it only vaguely showed. However, he also wanted Sasuke to win, so that the Final wouldn't be completely boring.
Sakura: The day is finally here, hope this will be a great one!
Magoichi: Damn, I regret letting Sasuke beat me in the previous round, but alas, I shall still cheer for Noh!
Tadakatsu: Cheer for Noh huh...
Sakura: What's the matter Tadakatsu? You seem a bit stiff...
Sitting right next to him, between him and Magoichi, Sakura reached out for him as she gently touched his shoulder with her hand. As a response to this, Tadakatsu, whom were having his arms crossed together like usual, simply looked down to the side at her hand as he looked her straight in the face, as if asking what she was doing. Briefly forming a smile on her face, Sakura let go of his shoulder and leaned back in her seat again.
Naruto: Damn, I have no idea who to root for... I mean, it would be awesome to meet my brother in the Fin-...
Tadakatsu: Heh, because you are so sure that you will beat me?
Naruto: I wasn't done talking! I was going to say that it would be awesome to meet him if I-...
Tadakatsu: And they call me arrogant...
Naruto: Humph... Whatever.
Turning their attention back on the battlefield, they watched as the ref was just about to signal the fight to begin.
Ebizo: So this ought to be an interesting one, don't you think Okuni?
Okuni: Yeah, although I must say that it would have been a bit more interesting if other Shinobi than Konoha's, made it to this stage... Even the Quarter-Finals were filled with them... Oh well, just got to enjoy it I suppose.
Ebizo: Yeah...
Mu: So Minato, what do you reckon?
Minato: I'm not sure really... Noh has indeed improved a lot. We shall see I suppose.
Saria: That's the right attitude Minato, not like you were boasting earlier Mu...
Mu: What, I just said that Noh had good chances reaching the Final, that's all...
Minato: Hehe, well then, shall we?
Getting up from his chair again, Minato gave the ref the signal to begin as he nodded back, before turning his attention towards Sasuke and Noh.
Noh: I... Best of luck, Sasuke-Kun...
Sasuke: Yeah, to you too I suppose... Although, I can't afford to lose, at least not to another Sharingan user!
Referee: Uchiha Sasuke, Uchiha Noh... You may begin!!
At the signal, both of them activated their Sharingan as they readied themselves for battle.
Sasuke: Let's do this!
Apparently adopting another strategy than the "charge quickly and hope for the best" strategy from the previous round, Sasuke seems as if he actually had a plan this time around, as he began performing some hand-seals while jumping away from Noh.
Sasuke: Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu (Fire Style: Art of the Dragon Flame)!!
Noh: !!
Releasing a dragon head-shaped fireball right for Noh, Sasuke seemed serious this time as the dragon head was heading straight for her. Being a B-Ranked fire technique and an extremely dangerous one, potentially being able to reduce its target to ashes, Noh knew that she had to counter it fast with something as powerful, or get out of the way. Preforming some very fast hand-seals, Noh then let out a fire attack as well, as Mu and Saria had risen from their seats, almost as if fearing for her life.
Minato: Sit down you two, she wouldn't have come this far unless she could defend herself! Look!
Noh: Katon: Karyū Endan (Fire Style: Dragon Flame Bomb)!
Responding with a fire style attack of her own, the same one she had used against Sakura in the previous round, the two attacks clashed head on, causing a large inferno between them to appear. Covering for his eyes, Sasuke noticed a shadow racing through the fire as Noh leaped straight at him with a Kunai in her hand. Drawing a Kunai of his own, the two of them clashed, exchanging a couple of rounds, before lashing out at each other again with a powerful blow, as their Kunai met once more. Looking straight into each others eyes, their own reflection was seen back at them, like a mirror in the opponent's sharingan.
Magoichi: Damn what an explosive start on the match!
Naruto: I had no idea Sasuke would have this much trouble, Noh really has come very far since that day in the second stage of this Chunin Exam!
Sakura: Hmm, are the two of them trying to?
Tadakatsu: ...
As their Kunai were still clashed together, the two of them were just standing there, looking at each other, as an intense feeling filled the air, and dark clouds began to emerge on the sky.
Naruto: Is Sasuke trying to use a Genjutus on Noh?
Magoichi: If she gets caught in that...
Sakura: No, this is different.
Activating her Byakugan, Sakura studied the two's chakra flow as she noticed abnormality, not only in Noh's chakra flow, but in Sasuke's as well.
Naruto: What do you mean?
Sakura: Magoichi... Does Noh know Genjutsu as well?
Magoichi: What?? Not that I know of, no...
Sakura: Hmm...
Naruto: Are you saying that they've trapped each other in Genjutsu at the same time?! Is that even possible?
Sakura: ...
Tadakatsu: Noh must have learned some new skills over the last days, training with her uncle Itachi... She's not the only one who has gained some new set of skills I'm sure...
Looking over at Naruto, and still keeping his firm look, Tadakatsu was as if hinting that he had and that he was set on unveiling them against Naruto.
Noh (In Thoughts): This is...
Sasuke (In Thoughts): You too?! I had no idea...
Being trapped in each others' Genjutsu, the two of them were surrounded by darkness, as only the two of them could be seen. Trying to overpower each other, they quickly realized that the only way they were getting out of there was by canceling their Genjutsu.
Sasuke (In Thoughts): Damn, you won't budge, maybe I've underestimated you...
Noh (In Thoughts): Heh... Sasuke-Kun, you are not bad either.
Sasuke (In Thoughts): Let's get out of here, shall we...
Canceling his technique, Noh's ended as well, as the two of them returned back to reality, shaking and clutching their heads, as if trying to regain their senses.
Sakura: Come on Sasuke, you can do this!
Magoichi: Don't let him win Noh!
Shouting out from their balcony, Sakura and Magoichi were both cheering as loud as they could as Noh fixed her eyes on Sasuke once more and threw off several shurikens towards him.
Sasuke: ?!
Just regaining his senses in time, Sasuke preformed some quick hand-seals as lightning charges came off from his right hand.
Sasuke: Chidori!
Using the Chidori, Sasuke effectively knocked all the shurikens aside as he then reached his hand up in the air, causing the dark clouds above him to fire down lightning bolts towards it, charging up the Chidori to an even higher degree.
Sasuke: This is it!
Noh: !!
Seeing Sasuke leaping towards her, Noh jumped backwards as she fired off a Fireball towards him, attempting to block his advance as she suddenly found herself facing against the wall.
Noh: No??
Turning around, Noh realized that she had run out of space as Sasuke quickly maneuvered around the fireball using his great speed, as the fireball hit a large rock behind him. Racing up towards her, Sasuke was just inches from reaching her as everyone got up on their feet.
Sakura: Is he going to?!?!
Magoichi: Noh!!!
Naruto: Look out, get out of the way!!
Tadakatsu: No way?!
Even Tadakatsu rose to his feet as both him and Naruto seemed to be about to leap off from the balcony to interfere with the attack and stop the fight.
Noh (In Thoughts): Will I make it?!
Clapping her hands together, Noh tried to come up with an attack, but just as she did, Sasuke had already reached up to her as his electrified hand went flying straight towards her face.
Noh: !!
Naruto: Noooooh!!!!!!!!!
Minato: ?!
Mu: No!!!
Saria: ?!
Sasuke: ...
Noh: Sasuke-Kun...
Closing her eyes, expecting to be hit, Noh then opened them up again as Sasuke's face was right next to hers. His Chidori, had went passed her and into the wall behind her, as Sasuke had decided not to kill her with it, literally speaking.
Sasuke: *Pant, Pant* I just couldn't let myself scratch your lovely face, or my brother, Naruto, would probably have killed me, hehe.
Noh: Sasuke-Kun you...
Realizing what had happened, tears formed in Noh's eyes as she couldn't believe her eyes. Pulling his hand out from the wall again, some rocks fell to the ground as Sasuke took a few steps back.
Sasuke: You know, you could have easily stabbed me with a kunai there... I was weak and open, and you could have taken advantage of that...
Noh: Sasuke-Kun, how can you say such a thing?! I couldn't have...
Falling to her knees, Noh wasn't able to control her tears as Sasuke turned his back on her for a few seconds.
Sasuke: Hehe, I just couldn't do it Naruto...
Looking up at the balcony where Naruto, Tadakatsu, Magoichi and Sakura sat, Sasuke saw that the four of them slowly sat down in their seats again as a smile formed on his face seeing the expression on Naruto's. He then looked over at the Kages' balcony, as Minato nodded back at him, as if saying that he made the right choice. Beside him, Saria had hid her face in Mu's grasp as she thought Minato's son was going to kill her daughter. Hearing Mu telling her that it was okay, she too lifted her face up as she looked down on the battlefield again.
Sasuke: Huff... This fight is over...
Noh: I...
Sasuke: Unless you want to continue that is?
Noh: No, I...
Sasuke: Heh, well I guess I better surrender then...
Noh: What?!
Sasuke: I don't have it in my heart to harm you, so what else is there to do? You're crying like a little girl, hehe, and I'm... I'm a mess... So, unless you want to drag this on much further, we might as well let Naruto and Tadakatsu get their fight goin-...
Noh: In that case, I surrender...
Sasuke: ...
Catching his attention, Sasuke turned around towards her again as she continued.
Noh: Ref...
Calling over the ref, Noh then mumbled some words in his ears as he then turned around towards the crowd again.
Sasuke: Wait, what are you doing?!
Referee: Uchiha Noh has forfeited from this match! The winner, and the first Finalist of this year's Chunin Exam... Uchiha Sasuke!
Sasuke: I...
Noh: It was the right thing to do...
Forming a smile on her face as she was wiping her tears, Noh then got back up on her feet as she went over to Sasuke giving him a hug before raising his hand in the air. At this, the crowd got ecstatic as Naruto, Tadakatsu, Magoichi and Sakura were relieved that no one got harmed, as Minato was proud of his son, showing that even though the Chunin Exam was utmost important, he didn't exceed what was necessary. Both Mu and Saria were on the brink of an emotional ride as they didn't know what to say. Ebizo on the other hand, was applauding the contestants, and so was Okuni.
Sasuke: Heh, well it was a good fight Noh... For as long as it lasted.
Noh: Yeah... You deserve to be in the final, Sasuke-Kun.
Sasuke: Hehe, yeah I'm not so sure...
Laying his arm around Noh, the two of them then proceeded off the field as Minato addressed the audience once more.
Minato: What a match! Phew! Ehm, well then, shall we just get on to the next match as well, or would the audience perhaps want a break first?
At this question, the crowd roared out in mutual whistling, signaling that they were ready for more. Hearing this, the Kages simply laughed as Minato raised both his hands in the air and continued.
Minato: Alright, alright, I hear you! The second and final match for today, is the fight between Uzumaki Naruto and Senju Tadakatsu! Contestants, please step forward!
Naruto: So it begins...
Tadakatsu: Hopefully, you'll at least give me a proper challenge Naruto...
Both looking at each other, the two of them rose from their seats as they headed down to the battlefield. The fight that everyone had been waiting for was just about to begin. Uzumaki vs Senju, Naruto vs Tadakatsu, who would triumphant and join Sasuke in the Final? The Daimyos were split in half regarding this, the Kages were split in half... Some cheered the Senju name, others the Uzumaki name, as the two of them stepped out on the field together.

Ikari: Oh damn it, oh shit! I can't wait for this! Hurry up and tell me already!!
Not being able to sit still, Ikari was off his feet, jumping up and down in excitement as Naruto tried to calm him down.
Naruto: Hahaha, relax already, Ikari, it's not good for this old man's heart, haha.
Ikari: Oh damn, sorry great great grandfather... So who won? The upcoming 9th Hokage of Konoha, Senju Tadakatsu, or, my very own great great grandfather, Uzumaki Naruto the 2nd, the son of the 8th Hokage, Uzumaki-Uchiha Minato, the grandson of the 7th Hokage, Uzumaki Jiraiya, and the great grandson of The Legendary Sage of Konoha and the 6th Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto! This is indeed a Dreamers' Fight!

Referee: If the two contestants would please handshake, I'll explain the rules.
Naruto: I won't break, Tadakatsu...
Tadakatsu: You are going down...
Both squeezing the hand of the other hard, the two of them then walked a few steps backward as they readied themselves.
Sakura: Amazing, I can't wait!!!
Magoichi: I seriously have no idea who will win this... I do believe Tadakatsu's raw powers will be too much for Naruto to handle in the end though...
Referee: Right, now that you know the rules... Uzumaki Naruto, Senju Tadakatsu... BEGIN!
The battle of the ages, was just about to begin!!
Tadakatsu: Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgh!!!
Naruto: ...
Clapping his hands together, massive chakra began to emerge from Tadakatsu as he preformed some hand-seals at such a rapid speed, that Naruto had no chance at reading them.
Tadakatsu: Fire Style: Hell Fire, Blazing Inferno Technique!
Focusing all his chakra to the point of attack, Tadakatsu released a massive wave of fire as it expanded 30 yards to each his sides, and 30 yards up in the sky, covering the whole arena in a massive inferno as it headed straight for Naruto.
Naruto: ?!
Sakura: It's huge?!
Magoichi: This can't be good...
Minato: Damn...
Almost having to cover for his face due to the scale of the attack, Ebizo and Mu quickly gained his attention as they three of them smashed their hands together, forming a triangle. As they did, a large barrier appeared from the sides of the first rows of the arena, stretching all around the battlefield as it was locked inside it, as a mean to protect the audience from harm.
Sakura: This is?!
Magoichi: Are they really expecting this fight to go beyond anything this arena has ever witnessed before?!
Tadakatsu: *Smirk*
As the attack drew even closer to Naruto, Naruto knew he had to do something to avoid being hit, as the attack offered no room to go around it. Quickly preforming some hand-seals, lightning element formed in both his hands.
Naruto: Double Raikiri!
Sakura: What?! Since when did Naruto?!
Smashing both his arms in the ground, Naruto disappeared down in it as the fire completely engulfed the place he previously stood.
Tadakatsu: ...
In matter of seconds, the ground where Tadakatsu stood suddenly began to rumble as Naruto shot out from under him, attempting to strike at him.
Tadakatsu: Humph!
Easily dodging the attack, Tadakatsu jumped backwards as Naruto pressed his attack on, forcing Tadakatsu to dodge between Naruto's hands, as he sent out a powerful kick, kicking Naruto backwards. As Naruto came to a stop, his two Raikiri went out as he quickly regained his balance again.
Tadakatsu: Interesting... Maybe finally, someone will make a decent challenge... Because there is none, that has stood against my might before!
Naruto: Don't get ahead of yourself, Tadakatsu!!
Both of them smashing their hands together and preforming some quick hand-seals, the two of them shouted out at each other.
Naruto: Lightning Style: Needles of Electrocution!
Tadakatsu: Water Style: Tsunami Waves!
Firing off countless electric-charged needles, Naruto was aiming to immobilize Tadakatsu's speed as Tadakatsu sent out a massive wave of flood water towards him, swallowing the needles at ease, making the water electrified in the process as it headed for Naruto.
Naruto: Damn, what size are you able to make of your attacks?! Raikiri!
Quickly forming two Raikiri in his hands once more, Naruto prepared to launch straight at it as he stretched both his hands towards it and smashed a hole straight through the wave, aiming to both surprise and hit Tadakatsu with the counter attack. Flying straight in at him, Tadakatsu quickly reacted as he swiftly grabbed onto Naruto's hands, trying to toss him away. Naruto however, held his ground, as he jumped upwards, while Tadakatsu still was holding onto his hands, as he kicked him in the chest with both of his feet, sending him tumbling backwards, while Naruto himself, landed on his back as well.
Sakura: I had no idea Tadakatsu had both Fire, Wind and Water Style?!
Magoichi: He doesn't...
Sakura: Huh, what do you mean?
Magoichi: The Heaven and Hell Swords are actually infused with Fire Style and Wind Style, and Tadakatsu only know how to use Fire Style separately... However, he does indeed have a third element as well, which is rare for a Shinobi his age...
Sakura: Oh? What element is that Magoichi??
Magoichi: You will have to wait and see, Sakura...
Tadakatsu: Not bad... Not bad at all, Naruto!!!
Getting back up on his feet again, Tadakatsu grasped his right fist with his left hand as he was pumped to get the real battle going. Also getting up on his feet again, Naruto looked at him with a stern look.
Naruto: ...
Tadakatsu: Regardless, you will fall before me!
Leaping off, Tadakatsu aimed to deliver a punch straight to Naruto's face, however, Naruto quickly intercepted this as he grabbed on to it, only to be pushed several yards backwards, as Tadakatsu came for him once more.
Naruto: Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!!
Tadakatsu: Shadow Clones eh...
Beside Naruto, about fifteen clones appeared as they all charged at him. Countless punches and kicks were exchanged between the two adversaries, as Tadakatsu finally reached up to Naruto. The two of them kept intercepting each others' attacks, dodging and maneuvering around each others arms and legs, as the two probably kept going for a 100ed rounds before Tadakatsu finally broke off and jumped backwards to get some space.
Tadakatsu: *Pant...*
Naruto: *Pant, Pant*
Tadakatsu: I'm not done yet!
Naruto: ?!
Tadakatsu: Earth Style: Earth Shattering Technique!
Punching his right fist into the ground as he shouted, the ground then split open before him as it cracked towards Naruto. Jumping to the side, Naruto tried to quickly maneuver around as Tadakatsu slammed his other fist into the ground as well. As he did, several rocks formed as spikes shot up in the air after Naruto as he ran around Tadakatsu in a circle pattern. Before he managed to come to the other side and find a way inside towards him, Naruto saw that too many rocks to count finally shot up before him, stopping his movement, as the ground continued to crack behind him.
Naruto: Tch... Raikiri!
Forming up a Raikiri, Naruto went smashing through the wall in front of him as he turned his attention towards Tadakatsu again, whom already had sent off another attack.
Tadakatsu: Yōton: Yōkai no Jutsu (Lava Style: Lava Monster Jutsu)!!
Naruto: ?!?!
Releasing a large amount of lava, filling up the entire hole that had cracked around the field, previously created by his Earth Shattering Technique, the lava spread fast, as Naruto realized that the large crack created by Tadakatsu's attack, had surrounded him in a circle, cutting them off from the other sides of the battlefield. Trapped inside a small area with hot lava surrounding them at all sides, Naruto knew this was a fight he had to take serious, or end up killed brutally by the hands of Tadakatsu. As the heat from the lava rose into the air, black smoke was spreading itself as the audience was at its feet.
Naruto: *Pant*
Tadakatsu: Now, no more running around...
With a very serious look on his face, Tadakatsu seemed as if he was way beyond Genin level, as he had spit out countless Jonin techniques after Jonin techniques, surprising almost the entire audience. Things now looked bad for Naruto, who knew he had to come up with a plan fast.
Naruto (In Thoughts): Think damn it, think!
Tadakatsu: *Pant* Time we took this battle to another level...
Slamming his hands together, the encircled ground below them suddenly began to rumble as it shot up in the air, carrying the two of them towards the top of the barrier before stopping just some yards away from it as lava leaked out from all sides of the now pointy mountain, flowing down the sides of it.
Tadakatsu: I call this technique... Death Mountain... Care to find out why?
Reaching for his two swords, Tadakatsu then got into his special stance as several of the audience seated on the first row had run up to one of the higher ones to witness the epicness of a battle that found place in front of them.
Ebizo: I had no idea Jin Senju's son, Tadakatsu, was this strong!
Minato: Damn... Jin Senju was one of the few said to be able to rival my father Jiraiya in strength, so I guess it is not to say that his son, Tadakatsu, would be any less strong...
Okuni: This is insane! Can we allow this fight to go on much longer like this?! It's going to turn into a battle of death!
Saria: Eh... I don't know, we should be careful at least...
Mu: Don't you two worry, that's why Minato, Ebizo and I had prepared this barrier to protect the audience with! As long as they are inside, it's perfectly safe!
Ebizo: Perfectly safe for the audience, yeah... For the contestants, I'm not so sure...
Looking down, Ebizo had realized that the entire ground below Tadakatsu and Naruto had filled itself with lava, as the only thing that stood out was the small mountain created by Tadakatsu. In fact, it almost seemed as they were fighting on the top of a live volcano as small cracks began to form on the top of it, spewing lava out of it.
Naruto: As much as I would like to have this fight the best it can be, don't you think that this is a bit dangerous Tadakatsu? Your Lava Style has engulfed the entire arena!
Tadakatsu: Come at me Naruto... Let me see you stand against my peerless might!
Having drawn his sword, Tadakatsu then proceeded with his infamous ritual.
Tadakatsu: Regrettably... Naruto, you will be just another victim to my Swords of Death!
Crossing his two swords together in front of himself, Tadakatsu prepared his attack.
Tadakatsu: My blades thirst for enemy blood! Blazing-shockway, Dance of the Heaven and Hell Swords!
Just like all times before, one sword got engulfed in fire while the other got engulfed in strong gusts of wind, as Tadakatsu leaped straight for Naruto.
Naruto: Shit!!
Seeing this, Naruto quickly reached for his sword as well as he drew forth the Sword of the Thunder God, as the blade emanated from its hilt, creating a buzzing sound. And it was just in time as well, as Tadakatsu lashed both his swords at him as Naruto swung his sword to intercept, successfully blocking the attempt. As he did however, he was pushed backwards along the ground, as he got ever closer to the edge of the small ground they were standing upon. Turning his face to the side, Naruto saw the hot lava flowing below them as he let out a powerful roar, pushing Tadakatsu's swords away from him as he then charged at him. Several, no, countless rounds were exchanged between them as fire, wind and lightning shot in all directions. The audience stood there speechless as they had never witnessed such a high level of intensity in a Genin match at the Chunin Exam before. History was being written before them, as most of them could not believe what they saw. Not only had more or less all of them got up to their feet, but so had the Kages as Minato seemed as if he was nail biting where he stood. The intensity of the battle then reached even higher ground as the small piece of ground that they were elevated up on from the rest, successfully split in half, creating a gap of two yards with lava between them. Staring at each other, panting heavily, the two opponents knew well that this was almost getting out of hands.
Naruto: This is madness Tadakatsu! We can't let this go on much longer or we're both dead!
As he said, the ground split again, forming a cross of lava on the elevated ground, as only four small pieces were safe standing on.
Okuni: Can't you three see it?! If this goes on...
Ebizo: ...
Mu: I...
Minato: Just hang on a little more...
Tadakatsu: ...
Naruto: Don't you see?!
Tadakatsu: I...
Naruto: Can you stop the lava from spreading any further?!
Tadakatsu: Madness... NO!! This is not madness, this is the extent of my POWERS!
Leaping off from the little piece of rock he was standing on, Tadakatsu soared across the lava in the air as he slashed both his swords at Naruto once more. The fight had escalated to a whole new level as two of the other rocks melted, and only two small places with a diameter of 5 meters were left as safe places. Exchanging several rounds once more, Naruto then took a leap of fate as he jumped across the lava, only barely managing to land on the other one safely. As he did, the whole mountain started to crumble as the two rocks with Tadakatsu and Naruto on them fell through the air towards the ground, as the mountain of lava crumbled beneath them.
Naruto: !!
Tadakatsu: Aaaaaaargh!
Leaping off from his rock, Tadakatsu came straight for him as the two fought fiercely on the only remaining rock that was left, falling rapidly towards the ground. As they closed in on the ground, even the rock they were standing on began to crack as both Naruto and Tadakatsu knew they were in deep trouble.
Naruto: Tadakatsu!!!!!!!!
Tadakatsu: ?!
Falling fast towards the ground, the rock suddenly crumbled completely as they fell towards the sea of lava beneath them.
Naruto: Do a Water Style! Do a Water Style now or we're both dead!!
Tadakatsu: I... I...
Naruto: Tadakatsu do you hear me?!?!
Having lost his cool, Tadakatsu looked panic-struck as the two of them headed towards certain doom.
Mu: ?!
Ebizo: !!
Saria: It can't be?!
Okuni: Minato!!!!
Minato: I...
Sakura: Naruto, Tadakatsu!!!
Magoichi: No way.... NO WAY?!!
Panic spread through the audience as none of them knew what to do.
Just as they were about to fall into the hot lava, a bright glimpse appeared between the two of them as they both were gone in a flash again, reappearing on the balcony were the Kages stood as the last remaining rocks plumed into the hot lava.
Jiraiya: Phew, that was too close!
Minato: Dad?!!
Ebizo: I...
Mu: Wha...
Okuni: Thank the heavens!
Saria: That almost went...
Tadakatsu: What the hell?!
Naruto: Grandpa Jiraiya!! Sh*t, you totally saved our asses there!
Jiraiya: Something had to be done or the two of you would have been done for!
Looking over at the Kages, Jiraiya seemed almost infuriated that they had let it go that far without intervening. As everyone settled down and talked for a bit, the Kages agreed to temporary stop the match as they took down the barrier. The whole battlefield was covered in lava as the five of them scratched their heads.
Naruto: If it hadn't been for the Flying Thunder God, there would have been no way for us to get out of there... Tadakatsu, why did you take the fight to such extreme measure?! And why the heck did you not use your Water Style at the end there when I asked you to?!! You could have got us killed!
Tadakatsu: I... Humph! I didn't, now did I? Stop complaining...
Minato: Calm down you two, let's figure this out for now...
Jiraiya: Yeah you better, this match wasn't exactly supervised too well...
Naruto: Hey! What the heck happened to the referee?!
Everyone: ?!
Tadakatsu: Relax, I saw him heading for the exit as soon as things got out of control, he should be alright...
Naruto: Hmm...
Jiraiya: I think we can say that we were lucky no innocents got killed today then... If it hadn't been for the code your barrier used, I wouldn't even have been able to get through it...
Okuni: Huff... Now that everything is partly under control, please step aside so that I can take care of this...
Walking forth toward the sea of lava before them down on the battlefield, Okuni quickly preformed some hand-seals as a massive water attack emerged from her, drowning the whole field as the water almost reached up to the first rows. After awhile, the entire field began to cool down as the lava turned into hot rocks, forming a completely new type of battlefield...
Okuni: That should do it for now I guess... However, the design of this entire field will have to be redone later I suppose...
Sitting back down in her seat, Okuni seemed perplexed on the whole situation.
Naruto: So what now?
Minato: Now?
Jiraiya: You have an audience to address Minato...
Minato: Oh shoot!
Realizing this, Minato quickly rose to his feet as he addressed the crowd again. After a few minutes, it was decided that the fight would go on as the referee returned as well.
Naruto: Is it safe to walk on?
Okuni: Yeah...
As Jiraiya got back in his seat, both Naruto and Tadakatsu got back out on the battlefield, that was totally black, with no sign or earth, or life for that matter, as it had small cracks in it all over the place, looking like a burnt cookie.
Referee: Huff... Now, you two may continue your battle... Are you ready?
Tadakatsu: Yeah...
Naruto: Yep!
As the battle was just about to start again, both Sasuke and Noh were seen taking their places beside Sakura and Magoichi again as the two of them got updated on the latest events.
Referee: Then begin!
As the second round of their fight was about to begin, the audience's threat level was back to normal as the Kages, as well as Jiraiya, were watching carefully, to prevent it from going out of hand again. As a measure, Tadakatsu had agreed not to use the Lava Style again for this match.
Magoichi: Damn, and here goes round two...
Sakura: Yeah, let's hope it doesn't escalate as much as earlier...
Noh: I... I just hope they won't take it too far...
Sasuke: If it really went down like that, the two of them have sure got a lot stronger...
Naruto: Let's do this Tadakatsu!
Tadakatsu: Hell yeah!
The two of them both quickly bit their thumbs as they preformed some hand-seals, shouting out simultaneously.
Naruto: Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram... Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)!
Tadakatsu: Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram... Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)!
Below them, each their summoning appeared. Below Naruto, a semi-sized toad, below Tadakatsu, a semi-sized toad as well!
Naruto: ?!
Tadakatsu: Oh...
Both being surprised that the other knew this technique, yet along having a contract with toads, smiles formed on their faces. Tadakatsu's toad was dark skinned with some touch of yellow spots, Naruto's however was dark red, with some hint of black. Both toads had two swords hanging from their sides as they drew them almost simultaneously. As the two toads leaped towards each other, Naruto and Tadakatsu also drew their swords as they too leaped at each other, the moment the two toads clashed. In mid-air they met, as they exchanged some rounds before jumping backwards, landing on top of their toads again, as the two toads were involved in a heated battle, swords swinging left and right. As the two toads were fighting, both Naruto and Tadakatsu holstered their swords again as they preformed new attacks.
Tadakatsu: Suiton: Suidanha (Water Style: Severing Wave)!
Spitting out a high pressured steam, Tadakatsu aimed to knock Naruto off his toad as Naruto had already fired up an attack to counter it.
Naruto: Wind Style: Razor Wind!
Sending the razor sharp wind straight for Tadakatsu, the two attacks actually went passed each other as both Naruto and Tadakatsu were hit by each others' attacks. Tadakatsu getting severely injured by several cuts, while Naruto was shot straight in his stomach, at the exact same place he had been stabbed in the previous stage, as they both fell off their two toads, and crashed to the grounds on their backs. As they went flying, the two toads effectively took care of each other as they disappeared in two clouds of smoke. As both Naruto and Tadakatsu were struggling to get up to their feet again, the ref, the Kages, and the rest of the audience paid close attention.
Naruto: Ugh!!
Tadakatsu: Uggh...
Pushing themselves hard to get back up again, both of them rolled over to their knees as Naruto was holding his stomach, bleeding badly.
Naruto (In Thoughts): I can't... I just can't let Sasuke down... I have to... I have to WIN!!!
Tadakatsu (In Thoughts): What's this, me, Tadakatsu Senju, losing?! Get up you damn wuss! Time to show Naruto my real might!
As Tadakatsu finally got back on his feet, he clapped his hands together once more, as he started concentrating for chakra. Naruto, who had seated himself down on the ground, was panting heavily as he watched closely, only to see Tadakatsu awaken some sort of form...
Tadakatsu: Go forth, Sennin Mode!!
Naruto: ?!
Sakura: Huh?!!?
Magoichi: Damn... So he has finished his training already...
Sasuke: ...
Noh: Tadakatsu-Kun...
Minato: Sennin Mode?!
Standing up from his seat, Minato seemed quite puzzled at this...
Tadakatsu: With this mode, I will defeat you!
Naruto: ...
Leaping off towards Naruto again, whom were still struggling to get up on his feet, Tadakatsu closed in at him as Naruto sat in meditating position, as if also gathering up chakra.
Sakura: Naruto, get up on your feet!!!
Sasuke: Don't you dare lose brother!!
Magoichi: This might be it!
Noh: Naruto-Kun, Tadakatsu-Kun...
Just as Tadakatsu reached Naruto, his punch was just about to connect when a massive source of chakra emerged from Naruto, sending Tadakatsu flying.
Tadakatsu: Ahghh...
Quickly getting back on his legs, Tadakatsu looked at Naruto as he discovered that Naruto had activated his Rinnegan...
Tadakatsu: Damn... You got to tell me how the linking process work one day... However, I will still beat you!
As Naruto got back up on his feet again, the battle entered its final phase. Tadakatsu in his Sage Mode, while Naruto with his Rinnegan activated... However, there was something more to this whole process than met the eye, as the rest of the Kages asked Minato about it.
Mu: So how does this work anyways? How come... Naruto has Rinnegan?
Ebizo: Yeah, how is that even possible? And why can he only activate it a few times? I've been meaning to ask before...
Saria: Hmm...
Okuni: I heard that it had something to do with the 6th Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto the 1st, right?
Minato: Yeah well, it is a complicated story... You see, after my grandfather became the new Great Toad Sage at Mt. Myo, no one, and then I mean no one, has seen him, not me, not Konohamaru, not my father Jiraiya, not anyone... Thirteen years ago, when I became Hokage, Naruto had to undergo his final training at Mt. Myo. During those thirteen years, we were able to visit him there and talk to him... But after the Great Toad Sage passed away, and Naruto became the new one, he lost most of his humanity... He disappeared... Rumors has it that he ventured deeper into Mt. Myo, to the dark and holy place of the Forsaken Forest... Where the Titans once lived and the home of the giants of this world, including the Giant Toad of Mt. Myo... The place where only the Sage of Six Paths had ventured before him... But before he did, he left something behind... It was part of his soul, his powers, and it was transplanted into my son Naruto, his great grandson and name-brother... It works in the same was as when you would seal a Tailed Beast into a human, only that it's powers based instead of... Well, it's kind of hard to explain, but it was part of an experiment, a way for my grandfather to watch over the outside world while he is gone... So they are connected, linked to each other, and Naruto is able to sense and feel through my son every time he activates the Rinnegan, and when he does, he's also able to borrow some of his powers... Naruto, my grandfather, picked my son Naruto for this task... Not Sasuke, not Sakura, but Naruto... I never objected, and not long after the three of them were born, about five years I think, my grandfather transplanted some of his powers into my son. He did not give him his eyes however, but the Rinnegan is awaken through using my grandfather's powers... The same way a Rinnegan user is able to let his or her summons have Rinnegan as well...
Mu: Oh... Well that sure is complicated... I'm not even sure if I understood how that worked...
Ebizo: Transplanting some of his powers to your son... How did he do that?
Minato: That's the thing, I don't know...
Ebizo: So Naruto, your son, is able to awaken the Rinnegan by using Naruto, your grandfather's powers... That way, they are linked and connected like some sort of summoning technique, only that... it's not a summoning, but a live human being?? Yep, that is complicated...
Saria: Maybe we should just watch the match instead of trying to figure out how everything works guys??
Okuni: Haha, good idea Raikage-Sama.
Back down on the field, both Naruto and Tadakatsu were staring intensely at each other, as they were just about to continue their battle after a short break. Tadakatsu's wounds had healed due to his Sage Mode, and Naruto's wound had healed due to his great grandfather's mysterious gift. Together, the two of them formed a dangerous duo, and one could easily see that both Naruto and Tadakatsu were way beyond Genin level in terms of strength.
Tadakatsu: Heh, are you ready Naruto??
Naruto: I'm just waiting for your tired ass!
Tadakatsu: Hah, then let's get on with it!
Leaping off towards each other, the two of them met again as the battle continued for another hour or so, before it finally seemed like the fight was getting a winner, slowly, but steadily.
Tadakatsu: *Pant, Pant, Pant* Damn you Naruto... *Pant* No one has been able to push me this far before... Especially after I've entered Sennin Mode!
Naruto: *Pant, Pant* Hehehe, well someone had to sooner or later, wouldn't you say!
Tadakatsu: Heh...
Just staring at each other, the two of them seemed exhausted as the audience was paying close attention like never before.
Magoichi: This is almost too exciting... Will Naruto actually be able to beat Tadakatsu?
Noh: ...
Sakura: I can't say for sure, both of them seems exhausted...
Sasuke: Soon now...
Tadakatsu: Damn it, I can't let you win!
Reaching for his two swords again, Tadakatsu leaped off towards Naruto once more as he had a furious look on his face. Just as he was about to reach him though, Naruto, who was practically just standing there, reached his hands out as a force of shockwave shot out of him, hitting Tadakatsu head on, sending him flying backwards and his swords out of his hands.
Tadakatsu: Ugh...
Landing on his back, Tadakatsu seemed to be out of it as the ref hurried over to him.
Naruto: *Pant, Pant*
Referee: ...
Tadakatsu: Damn it, get out of my way!
Grabbing a hold onto the ref, Tadakatsu almost threw him to the side as he charged in at Naruto once more. However, it did not have much different effect than last time, as he once again was flung away.
Naruto: Don't you get it?? With my Rinnegan and a taste of the powers of my great grandfather, even you can't stop me Tadakatsu!
Tadakatsu: Shut your Fu*king trap Naruto, I will break through your Shinra Tensei (Almighty Push), no matter what!!
As he said, another push of chakra emerged from him as he preformed some quick hand-seals...
Tadakatsu: I will defeat you, no matter what!! You hear that?! I can't lose!!
Naruto: ?!
Tadakatsu: Yōton: Yōkai no Jutsu (Lava Style: Lava Monster Jutsu)!!
Releasing another wave of lava, Tadakatsu was set at winning the match, regardless of outcome as the lava went straight for Naruto. Pushing out another Almighty Push, Naruto kept the lava in check, but he soon realized that it was breaking through as Tadakatsu continued to spew out lava nonstop.
Naruto: Shit!
Breaking through his defense, Naruto had to jump backwards, as Tadakatsu came running towards him, having picked up his swords again.
Naruto: Damn it, I thought the Kages told you not to use-...
Tadakatsu: Shut up!!!!!!!!!
Naruto: !!
Slashing at him, Naruto just barely managed to get out his sword as they fiercely exchanged several rounds. Being in full rage, Tadakatsu applied more and more power to each stroke through his Sage Mode as he successfully was able to knock Naruto's sword out of his hands. As he did, Naruto quickly dodged his follow up swings as he tackled Tadakatsu, causing the two of them to fall on the ground as they exchanged on being on top dealing out blows. It was totally going out of hands as none of the two warriors refused to back down.
Tadakatsu: I will win!!!
Naruto: No way!!!
Tadakatsu: Give in you bastard!!!
Naruto: No, you give in Tadakatsu!!
Just managing to break away from him, Naruto rolled forward as he quickly jumped over a stream of lava. Landing on the other side, Naruto looked at Tadakatsu, as his Sage mode ran out.
Tadakatsu: *Pant, Pant, Pant, Pant, Pant, Pant* No... No, this can't be happening...
However, it wasn't only Tadakatsu that was at his limit, as Naruto's Rinnegan shut off and the powers that came with it run out as well.
Naruto: *Pant, Pant, Pant, Pant* Heh, this is going nowhere...
Tadakatsu: Damn it, damn it all...
Forcing himself up on his feet again, Tadakatsu aimed for one last push.
Tadakatsu: Naruto!!!!
Naruto: Tadakatsu!!!
Jumping towards each other, they met mid-air right beside the lava stream as they simply crashed into each other, none of them being able to deliver a punch. Landing on their backs on the ground, the ref quickly hurried over to them as the crowd was at its peak in excitement.
Referee: ...
Looking down at them, the ref realized that none of them were able to go much further on as they both struggled to get back up again. As if time slowed down, the two of them looked at each other as they first managed to get back up to their knees, then up to one foot, then the other, as they were forcing themselves to stand tall. Just as it seemed that both of them had managed to get back up, something indeed happened.
Naruto: ...
Tadakatsu: Heh... Fire Sty-...
Clapping his hands together, Tadakatsu was just about to preform another technique when he went completely out of chakra. Tumbling over in the air, Tadakatsu crashed to the ground as he fainted from the long and intense battle.
Referee: ...Winner, Uzumaki Naruto!!!
Naruto: Ug...
Going over to him, the ref raised his hand in the air, but just as he did, Naruto as well tumbled over as he too fainted from exhaustion. The crowd was ecstatic, the Kages and the Daimyos could not believe their eyes. Sakura was jumping up and down, Magoichi had dropped his jaw to the ground, completely shocked on how it all ended. Noh just stood there and Sasuke... Sasuke formed a smile on his face... As he knew right there that he was going to face his own brother in the Chunin Exam Final... How he was going to possibly win though, that was something he hadn't thought much of yet, as he too clapped his hands.
Minato: There you have it!!!
Having risen to his feet, Minato applauded as he was joined by the rest of the Kages.
Minato: This means that the Chunin Exam Final will be between Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto!
Ebizo: And also, it will take place in just three days!
Massive roar was heard as the crowd went bananas, slowly starting to leave the arena. Minato could not have been more proud to have both his sons in the Final, as Jiraiya, Aiko, and lots of others were seen smiling as well.
Mu: I guess this concludes this day then... Oh boy did this fight exceed any expectations!
Saria: Haha, I almost fear that the Final will be a boring one in comparison!
Okuni: Hehe, only time will tell!
As the days went by, Naruto had managed to recover and though he still felt a bit tired from the last match, he could not wait for the fight to begin as both he and Sasuke entered the arena. On the third row sat Magoichi, Noh, Sakura and Tadakatsu, and Tadakatsu wasn't exactly in a joyful mood to say the least.
Referee: Uchiha Sasuke, Uzumaki Naruto.. Are you ready??
Naruto: Indeed I am!
Sasuke: Yeah! Brother, give me your best!
Referee: Then begin!
As the fight begun, the two of them leaped off against each other, clashing immediately to the roar and the excitement of the crowd. Having anticipated this fight for some days now, Minato, together with the rest of the Kages, were joined by Aiko, Minato's wife and Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura's mother, as well as Jiraiya, their grandfather. As the fight only just had begun however, a familiar face approached the balcony where the Kages were seated, as none other than Konohamaru himself appeared.
Aiko: Konohamaru??
Minato: !!
Jiraiya: Konohamaru-Sensei, are you here too, to see the match??
Although aged and in his early 70s by now, Konohamaru was still pretty wise, he had after all, kept the Anbu Leader position for over 40 years!
Konohamaru: Jiraiya-San, Minato-Sama, I bring urgent news!
Jiraiya: ?!
Ebizo: What do you mean?
Konohamaru: *Pant* Naruto... Naruto has returned from the Forsaken Forest of Mt. Myo, and he has called for us immediately!!
Minato: What?!
Jiraiya: Father has what?!
Mu: How... Why?
Saria: What does this mean?
Okuni: ...
Konohamaru, having a scout toad always by his side, in case Naruto needed to contact the outside world, had not heard a single word in half a year since Naruto became the new Great Toad Sage, however, this very morning, the toad suddenly had a message for him as he had hurried himself over to the arena where the Chunin Exam Final took place to share it.
Konohamaru: What this means is that Naruto has something urgent to share, and that the three of us, have to go to him immediately!
Minato: I don't understand, why would he?!
Jiraiya: What can he possible have to-...
Konohamaru: It's about Zetsu!
Everyone: What?!
Hearing this, all of the Kages rose to their feet as Minato turned his attention towards the ref, signaling him to temporary stop the match between Naruto and Sasuke.
Sasuke: Huh?
Naruto: What does father mean by stopping the match? Sure you read it right?
Referee: Yeah, just hold your ground...
Minato: Then we need to go this instant!
Jiraiya: ...
Mu: What about the match??
Minato: !!
Ebizo: Should we cancel it for now or...
Okuni: Cancel it?! If we cancel it, wouldn't that rise suspicion? If Zetsu gets as much as a hint that we're on to him, he might...
Saria: Besides, we can't let the crowd down either...
Jiraiya: You two are right... Minato, Konohamaru, let's head to Mt. Myo this instance...
Minato: Right... Mu, Ebizo, Saria and Okuni... I'll have you watch over the match in the meantime, alright?
Mu: Sure...
Konohamaru: Well then, what are we waiting for?
Leading the way, Konohamaru, Jiraiya and Minato left as Ebizo rose to his feet and signaled the fight to continue...
Naruto: What?! Where are they going?!
Sasuke: Grandpa and father... They can't leave at such an important moment?!
Referee: You are to continue this fight, that was the word...
Naruto: Arrgh! I hope they make it back in time then...
Sasuke: Damn, I wonder what it could be??
As the fight continued and the crowd started to pay attention again, a certain someone was standing not too far away from the Daimyo's balcony, puzzled and in his own thoughts on what just happened.
Kakashi (In Thoughts): I wonder what that was all about...
Gai: Why so distant Kakashi?
Yamato: Yeah, have you lost your track old friend?
Going over to him, the three of them were getting quite old as Gai almost seemed to think that Kakashi had forgot where his seat was. Leading him back there, even more familiar faces appeared.
Kakashi: Oh, nothing...
Sasuke: Kakashi-Sensei always had to think outside the box...
Gai: Haha, you are so right Sasuke!
Yamato: Hehe...
Sakura: Whatever it was, it must have been something serious seeing both Minato and Jiraiya leaving with Konohamaru... Could it be...
Sasuke: Naruto? Hmm... Who knows.
Hinata: ...
Kushina: It could be, but...
Shikamaru: Sigh, you guys always have to dig deep into everything, don't you? Don't mention Naruto, or Hinata will start crying...
Temari: Heh, they are just getting old, that's all...
Miyuki: Knowing Jiraiya right, it must have been important indeed...
Itachi: Hmm...
Rock Lee: Well whatever it is, I'm sure they can handle it, right?
Hiruzen: Of course dad, why wouldn't they?
Mito: ...
Kurotsuchi: Shouldn't we just try to enjoy the match, hmm?
Ino: Excellent idea...
Sai: Hmm, yeah...
Choji: Then let's stop talking guys...
As they were about to turn their focus towards the match again, someone else approached them.
Jin: What's all the fuss guys?
Asuka: Yeah, aren't you paying attention to the match or something?
Hiruzen: If we are? Where have you two been?
Jin: We just got here actually...
Mito: Well then, have a seat.

Ikari: Did they really have to leave at such a time??
Naruto: Yeah, even if it was unfortunate, finding and dealing with Zetsu once and for all was of the utmost importance...

Returning to Mt. Myobokuzan for the first time in over half a year, Konohamaru, Jiraiya and Minato headed straight for the chamber of the Great Toad Sage. Once they arrived there, and to their surprising, Naruto had in fact returned.
Konohamaru: Naruto, we have come before you as requested...
Naruto: ...
Jiraiya: Dad, I can't believe you're...
Minato: Zetsu, where is he?!
Naruto: You've arrived like requested... good. Well then, let's get on to it my children...
Naruto, who had been the Great Toad Sage's replacement for half a year now, had still kept most of his appearance and personality, but still, there was something strange to him that even his son nor his grandson could recognize... It seemed as if he was speaking in third person or even with an objective tone at times, something in which Konohamaru already had come to expect.
Naruto: Your son Minato... Naruto the 2nd, has been using my powers as expected... However, something unexpected has been caught in his net...
Minato: What do you mean?
Naruto: Naruto, your son, haven't used the Rinnegan on too many occasions, but, lately, he seems to have been using it quite frequently...
Naruto, who now had his Rinnegan activated at all times, did not look much like his younger self... Sure, he was the same guy, but something about his way of speaking had changed dramatically due to his climb to immortality.
Naruto: The Rinnegan... Your son does not have to use it frequently for me to sense the outside world through him... My powers being present is more than enough, and with it, I've been able to sense Zetsu on two occasions... Both times close to your son's location.
Jiraiya: !!
Konohamaru: What... Are you saying Zetsu has appeared in Konoha?!
Naruto: Yes... The first time in the Forest of Death a little over a month ago, and the other, in some cave in the outskirt of Konoha's north border...
Jiraiya: Cave?! Could it be where those masked guys had their camp?! Are you saying Zetsu was behind that, father?
Naruto: I don't know... Whatever you are referring to, it is likely he had...
Minato: So where is he now?
Naruto: After sensing him through your son twice, I've been able to figure out his code... his frequency... his scent... He is currently in the Grass Country, not too far from the Hidden Grass Village... There, he's trying to do some sort of ritual...
Konohamaru: Ritual??
Naruto: I'm not sure what he's planning, but whatever it is, he needs to be stopped...
Jiraiya: Right, we will handle it!
Konohamaru: Then what are we waiting for, let's g-...
Naruto: No... Minato and Jiraiya will handle this Konohamaru... I need you for something else...
Konohamaru: What?! What do you mean?!
Naruto: I'll tell you later... For now, we need to get things going. Jiraiya, Minato, you know what do to...
Minato: Right! We won't fail you grandpa!
Jiraiya: ...
Naruto: Jiraiya, use seal 666 to get there fast... The seal will take you to a small pond, beside it a waterfall... Through that waterfall, a cave... At the end of the cave... That is where you will find Zetsu.
Jiraiya: I got you, we will head there immediately. Minato, let's get going.
Minato: Yes father! Let's stop Zetsu once and for all!
Bowing respectfully, the two of them then turned around as Jiraiya was just about to use the Flying Thunder God to transport Minato and himself there.
Naruto: And Jiraiya... Do not underestimate Zetsu...
Jiraiya: I won't...
As he said, the two of them were gone as Naruto turned his attention towards Konohamaru.
Naruto: Konohamaru... You may go now.
Konohamaru: What?! What do you mean?!
Naruto: This has to be done by Jiraiya and Minato... they have to take the first steps as I've foreseen... Your task is not to help out in this one, instead, you will pass out the details of this meeting to the rest of the Kages, and act as Konoha's Hokage in the meantime.
Konohamaru: Huff... Right, I'll get on to it then. And Naruto...
Naruto: ...
Konohamaru: Don't forget to stay in touch.
Naruto: ...
Taking his leave, Konohamaru left the temple as Naruto watched carefully as he disappeared.
Fukasaku: So you are back...
Naruto: Yeah...
Shima: Something going on?
Naruto: Indeed.
Getting up from his chair, Naruto was joined by Fukasaku and Shima as the three of them left the temple together. As they were leaving, some of Naruto's Tailed Beasts began talking to him.
Kurama: Naruto... Do you really believe that bringing an end to Zetsu... That it will bring on true, ever lasting peace?
Naruto: ...
Jubi: He's right though, as long as you have that meeting left to greet Naruto, and that choice left to make, peace will never truly exist, will it?...
Naruto: I know...
Kurama: Do you think your son and your grandson will be able to do it alone?
Naruto: If they don't, I've developed a special technique that will work against any foe, regardless of state... Dead, alive... Won't matter... And if they are not able to handle it, I might have to use that technique...
Jubi: I thought you weren't allowed to leave this place in this state?
Naruto: I might be able to for a short limit of time... Both Jiraiya and Minato have seals on them that I can teleport to... They also have a scroll that will seal a range of an area off, preventing Zetsu from retreating... This scroll... this seal has a similar effect as Mt. Myo have, meaning that things can be summoned there if done correctly.
Jubi: Hmm...
Back in Konoha, the Chunin Exam Final between Naruto's great grandchildren, Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto the 2nd, was still ongoing, as Konohamaru returned. Explaining the meeting with Naruto and how Jiraiya and Minato had set off to try and deal with Zetsu, the Kages discussed and argued a bit between themselves on whether or not they should head out to assist. After several urges from Konohamaru not to do so, they finally settled down as they turned their attention towards the match before them once more.
Naruto: Damn, still with this thing... I wonder what the heck is going on?
Sasuke: And only Konohamaru returned?! Where is dad and grandpa?
Naruto: Sigh... We don't have much choice Sasuke, at this rate, our fight will be finished before they return...
Sasuke: They might not even return today at all... What do you say brother, time to get serious??
Naruto: Yeah, no more holding back!
Firing up a Rasengan in his hand, Naruto then leaped off towards Sasuke whom countered with a Chidori. Clashing on the middle of the battlefield, the crowd was cheering in excitement. In a cave across the border however, something entirely different was going on.
White Zetsu: Will we be able to...
Black Zetsu: We might... Still going to take some time though...
White Zetsu: The limit... If successful, this will be the final time we'll be able to revive him... And that will cost deeply...
Black Zetsu: The time is almost there, let's begin the ritual...
White Zetsu: Wait... Someone is?!
Black Zetsu: ...
Still standing there minding its own business, Zetsu heard some voices he immediately recognized from behind, but he did not turn around to greet them however.
Jiraiya: Found you...
Minato: Zetsu, be ready for your trial!
Black Zetsu: They are... How did they...
White Zetsu: Damn... He must have sensed us...
Black Zetsu: Well nothing can stop us now... As soon as Tobi is revived, the world will be ours!
Minato: !!
Jiraiya: How can you possibly pull that off?! Tobi was destroyed!
White Zetsu: Damn the Legacy of The Legendary Sage of Konoha...
Black Zetsu: Damn Uzumaki Naruto... This however, will change everything!

Fun Facts & Author's Notes:
1: This Series slowly draws near its end, with only one chapter and a Short Movie remaining! I must say that this chapter felt pretty good, and that I managed to show just the things I set out to do. Sasuke and Noh's battle, having just the right touch to it, Naruto and Tadakatsu taking it all out, even Zetsu finally appearing for real... Quite frankly, I don't really know much to say this time around =p
2: After three very long chapters, the final chapter of this sequel will actually be short in comparison. Chapter 3 (my 2nd biggest), Chapter 4 (my 3rd biggest) and Chapter 5 (my 4th biggest) of this sequel has been crazy in length and content, and even if they might have felt a bit dragged out at time, I still think I've managed to do what I set out to do with this sequel when I had the initial thoughts on it. In the end, the final chapter came out just as I had imagined, and I can't wait to show it to you when that time comes ;D
3: Did you guys expect the two outcomes of these two Semi-Finals? Personally, I actually wanted to let Tadakatsu win, but in the end, I felt like I couldn't, haha. As for Noh and Sasuke however, I always had in mind that the two brothers would meet in the final, it was just a matter of getting there to say the least.
4: Did you like the inclusion of the Filler Sword of the Thunder God into my Fiction? I'm actually curious to what some might think here as personally, I think I managed to make it interesting enough for it to fit perfectly in.
5: There are some details revealed in this chapter, like Tadakatsu becoming the 9th Hokage in the future... Did anyone expect that?? xP If you remember from the introduction to the first chapter of this sequel, I did mention that someone from outside the Uzumaki-Uchiha-Hyuga family-line succeeded Minato as the next Hokage ;D

Having reached the 5th part of his six parts long story, Uzumaki Naruto the 2nd looked a bit tired as he yawned out before taking another sip of the glass with water, emptying it in the process. After all, the man had just turned 100 years old, and telling major ass long stories wasn't really his specialty anymore. However, his great great grandson, Ikari, never doubted his storytelling skills for a moment, as he was more eager now than he had ever been before.
Ikari: Oooooh?!
Naruto: Huh?
Having to take another break because Ikari interrupted him, Naruto seemed to have a puzzled look on his face.
Ikari: This is... this is the... the 5th part of this story begins now, correct?
Naruto: Mhm, yeah?
Ikari: Isn't this the part you always ended your story on when I was younger, because you feared that it was too... Well, let's just say that my eyes, or ears for that matter, wasn't ready to hear it yet? Thinking about it, I don't think I've ever heard passed this point!
Naruto: Oh? I can't really remember, maybe you are right about that...
Ikari: Well then, don't stop now! This is the part where your late brother Sasuke fought your teenage love interest Noh, and you yourself fought the predecessor of the 10th Hokage of Konoha, right?
Naruto: Yes, although at that point, Senju Tadakatsu was nowhere near becoming the 9th Hokage of Konoha just yet, not until my father, Minato, stepped down ages later... Anyways, let's get on with it then. After all, it is indeed getting late, so I'll try to wrap this story up before it gets too late.
Ikari: Right, right, please go on.

A few days had passed since the Quarter-Finals, and out on Konoha's training-field were Naruto and his Sensei and grandfather, Jiraiya, out preparing for the upcoming Semi-Final against the fearsome Tadakatsu Senju.
Jiraiya: Hmm...
Naruto: What?
Jiraiya: I'm not saying you are wrong, but I still stand by my point.
Naruto: Why, don't you think I'll be able to beat Tadakatsu, Sensei?!
Jiraiya: Well... Not with just raw powers I suppose...
Naruto: Blah, then what do you propose?
Jiraiya: Did I say that I was proposing anything?
Naruto: What?! You can't expect me to believe that my own grandfather and Sensei, tells me straight up to my face that I can't beat my opponent in the Semi-Final of the Chunin Exam by ordinary means, and not having a plan on how to approach the battle?!
Jiraiya: Ehehe, calm down now, let me think...
Naruto: ... Think? Argh, I should have just let grandpa Hiruzen train me instead, at least he would have had a plan.
Jiraiya: Idiot! I was the 7th Hokage of Konoha!
Naruto: Blah!
Laying his right index finger in the corner of his right eye, dragging skin downwards, Naruto let out his tongue as if he couldn't care less.
Jiraiya: Huff... For speed, train with Hiruzen, for power, train with Jin, for defense and deadly techniques, train with Itachi... But, if you want all that combined into one, train with me!
Naruto: Hahaha! So you're saying that Hiruzen is training Sasuke because Sasuke bases most of his attacks on speed, Jin is training with his son Tadakatsu, because the Black Panther of Konoha and his son, bases most of their attacks on raw power, and that Itachi, Noh's uncle, is training her because she bases her skills in defense and counter attack? And you supposedly beats all of them combined?? I call bullshit! Where on earth is my father when I need him!
Crossing his arms together, Naruto seemed to be very little pleased with his grandpa.
Jiraiya: Idiot, Idiot! You know perfectly well that the Hokage, and the other Kages for that matter, are unavailable as Sensei during the Chunin Exam, as it's against the rules for them to help out any participants! Otherwise, you and Sasuke could have just trained with your father, and Noh could have trained with Mu and Saria! And not to forget, Shingen could have trained with Ebizo before the previous round! Think before you speak or act, that will be the key to beating Tadakatsu!
Naruto: Strategy?? You know damn well that Sasuke and Sakura are the better strategists in our team!
Jiraiya: Oh my... And you're even complaining when you get a previous Kage to help you out with your training... But yeah, Strategy, Speed and good Defense will be the key beating him...
Naruto: ...
Jiraiya: We have three more days to prepare you for the match, so first, we need to take away the one power advantage Tadakatsu has over you...
Naruto: And that is?
Jiraiya: Jin, the Black Panther of Konoha's two legendary Heaven and Hell Swords, the ones Tadakatsu, his son, now possess.
Naruto: What do you mean take away? Like, steal them?
Jiraiya: IDIOT?! No! What I mean, is to give you an equal footing. Come, hand over your short sword for a bit.
Pointing at Naruto's back, Jiraiya then signaled Naruto to hand over his sword as Jiraiya took it into his hands. Before Naruto knew what he was up to, Jiraiya had suddenly broken it in two.
Naruto: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!
Jiraiya: You see how easily this one broke? Imagine going up against Tadakatsu's swords in battle with it...
Naruto: *Gulp*
Jiraiya: That's why, for this special occasion, I'm going to lend you this for now.
Walking over to a nearby rock, Jiraiya uncovered something from behind it as he carried it over to Naruto. It was clothed in some sort of leather, hiding its identity.
Naruto: What's that?
Jiraiya: Uncover it and find out.
Handing it over to him, Jiraiya had a smile on his face as Naruto unwrapped the clothing around it.
Naruto: This is?!
Jiraiya: Yep, it sure is...
Naruto: You want me to have the Sword of the Thunder God?!
Jiraiya: After I recovered it from that masked leader, I haven't had time to decide what to do with it, whether to store it or terminate it, or... So, you might as well have it for now at least. But I don't want to see you running around town like a maniac with it, it did after all belong to the 2nd Hokage of Konoha!
Naruto: Right, right! You are awesome grandpa! With this, I'll surely win!
Jiraiya: Now, now, one step at a time... Try wielding it first, take a few swings and get to know it better.
Swinging the sword through the air a couple of rounds, Naruto began to get the hang of it quite rapidly as Jiraiya was applauding him.
Naruto: Its length sure is different from that short sword I was using, but, I should be able to get used to it...
Jiraiya: That's not all...
Naruto: Oh?
Jiraiya: The Sword of the Thunder God is more than just a simple sword...
Naruto: ...
Jiraiya: As starters, the sword can be retracted back into the hilt for carrying purposes, and emanated from it when it comes to use.
Naruto: Yeah, I see what you mean.
Still swinging the sword around, Naruto then deactivated it before he reactivated it again.
Jiraiya: The sword is infused with pure electrical energy, however, this energy, in the hands of the right wielder, can be altered or even manipulated to the users own desires... Seeing as you have lightning element and wind element, that should come in handy.
Naruto: Whoa...
Jiraiya: Plus, the sword reacts to the users chakra, and by learning how to use it correctly, you can infuse the sword even further with both your lightning element, and perhaps, even your wind element too...
Naruto: Grandpa may I ask... How is it that you know so much about this sword?? I thought it was destroyed ages ago...
Jiraiya: Well, like that masked leader said, the sword was reforged by unknown means to serve a purpose... I believe that purpose has come into play now. The reason I know a thing or two about it, is because my father, together with my father-in-law, were the ones to break it to begin with.
Naruto: Hmm...
Jiraiya: Anyways, try to experiment with it for awhile and see what you can accomplish, in the meantime, I'm going to do something else...
Naruto: Do what?? And what about my training?!
Jiraiya: Easy now... When I return, I'm going to show you an amazing technique, and with it, you might actually be able to win this fight.

Ikari: So you actually got that sword all those ages ago? I thought it was something you acquired in your later days...
Naruto: Well, the sword itself is indeed powerful, but I needed more than the sword to stand a chance against Tadakatsu...

As three days had passed, the Chunin Exam Semi-Finals were upon the young promising Shinobi of Konoha, as the arena where it all would take place, already had filled up to its maximum.
Minato: *Kremt* If I may gather your attention please...
The noisy stadium got silent for a bit at the voice of the Hokage speaking out to them, as they were all waiting for the first match to begin.
Minato: The first Semi-Final of the day, is a battle between Uchiha! One of them is my very own son, Sasuke, while the other is the daughter of my pleasant company for today, the 7th Tsuchikage of Iwagakure, Uchiha Mu, and of course, the lovely Saria, the 6th Raikage of Kumogakure. Her name is of course Noh, and without stalling it further, I want to wish both contestants the best of luck!
Reaching his hand out in the air, Minato was applauded by his fellow Kages as the arena broke out in massive roar and celebration. Down on the field came Noh and Sasuke as the two of them were about to get ready for battle. On a balcony not too far from the Kages sat the likes of Naruto, Tadakatsu, Magoichi and Sakura, as the four of them were excited for the first battle to start. Although not admitting it, trying to act calm and focused, Tadakatsu was actually rooting for Noh, deep down in his heart, even though it only vaguely showed. However, he also wanted Sasuke to win, so that the Final wouldn't be completely boring.
Sakura: The day is finally here, hope this will be a great one!
Magoichi: Damn, I regret letting Sasuke beat me in the previous round, but alas, I shall still cheer for Noh!
Tadakatsu: Cheer for Noh huh...
Sakura: What's the matter Tadakatsu? You seem a bit stiff...
Sitting right next to him, between him and Magoichi, Sakura reached out for him as she gently touched his shoulder with her hand. As a response to this, Tadakatsu, whom were having his arms crossed together like usual, simply looked down to the side at her hand as he looked her straight in the face, as if asking what she was doing. Briefly forming a smile on her face, Sakura let go of his shoulder and leaned back in her seat again.
Naruto: Damn, I have no idea who to root for... I mean, it would be awesome to meet my brother in the Fin-...
Tadakatsu: Heh, because you are so sure that you will beat me?
Naruto: I wasn't done talking! I was going to say that it would be awesome to meet him if I-...
Tadakatsu: And they call me arrogant...
Naruto: Humph... Whatever.
Turning their attention back on the battlefield, they watched as the ref was just about to signal the fight to begin.
Ebizo: So this ought to be an interesting one, don't you think Okuni?
Okuni: Yeah, although I must say that it would have been a bit more interesting if other Shinobi than Konoha's, made it to this stage... Even the Quarter-Finals were filled with them... Oh well, just got to enjoy it I suppose.
Ebizo: Yeah...
Mu: So Minato, what do you reckon?
Minato: I'm not sure really... Noh has indeed improved a lot. We shall see I suppose.
Saria: That's the right attitude Minato, not like you were boasting earlier Mu...
Mu: What, I just said that Noh had good chances reaching the Final, that's all...
Minato: Hehe, well then, shall we?
Getting up from his chair again, Minato gave the ref the signal to begin as he nodded back, before turning his attention towards Sasuke and Noh.
Noh: I... Best of luck, Sasuke-Kun...
Sasuke: Yeah, to you too I suppose... Although, I can't afford to lose, at least not to another Sharingan user!
Referee: Uchiha Sasuke, Uchiha Noh... You may begin!!
At the signal, both of them activated their Sharingan as they readied themselves for battle.
Sasuke: Let's do this!
Apparently adopting another strategy than the "charge quickly and hope for the best" strategy from the previous round, Sasuke seems as if he actually had a plan this time around, as he began performing some hand-seals while jumping away from Noh.
Sasuke: Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu (Fire Style: Art of the Dragon Flame)!!
Noh: !!
Releasing a dragon head-shaped fireball right for Noh, Sasuke seemed serious this time as the dragon head was heading straight for her. Being a B-Ranked fire technique and an extremely dangerous one, potentially being able to reduce its target to ashes, Noh knew that she had to counter it fast with something as powerful, or get out of the way. Preforming some very fast hand-seals, Noh then let out a fire attack as well, as Mu and Saria had risen from their seats, almost as if fearing for her life.
Minato: Sit down you two, she wouldn't have come this far unless she could defend herself! Look!
Noh: Katon: Karyū Endan (Fire Style: Dragon Flame Bomb)!
Responding with a fire style attack of her own, the same one she had used against Sakura in the previous round, the two attacks clashed head on, causing a large inferno between them to appear. Covering for his eyes, Sasuke noticed a shadow racing through the fire as Noh leaped straight at him with a Kunai in her hand. Drawing a Kunai of his own, the two of them clashed, exchanging a couple of rounds, before lashing out at each other again with a powerful blow, as their Kunai met once more. Looking straight into each others eyes, their own reflection was seen back at them, like a mirror in the opponent's sharingan.
Magoichi: Damn what an explosive start on the match!
Naruto: I had no idea Sasuke would have this much trouble, Noh really has come very far since that day in the second stage of this Chunin Exam!
Sakura: Hmm, are the two of them trying to?
Tadakatsu: ...
As their Kunai were still clashed together, the two of them were just standing there, looking at each other, as an intense feeling filled the air, and dark clouds began to emerge on the sky.
Naruto: Is Sasuke trying to use a Genjutus on Noh?
Magoichi: If she gets caught in that...
Sakura: No, this is different.
Activating her Byakugan, Sakura studied the two's chakra flow as she noticed abnormality, not only in Noh's chakra flow, but in Sasuke's as well.
Naruto: What do you mean?
Sakura: Magoichi... Does Noh know Genjutsu as well?
Magoichi: What?? Not that I know of, no...
Sakura: Hmm...
Naruto: Are you saying that they've trapped each other in Genjutsu at the same time?! Is that even possible?
Sakura: ...
Tadakatsu: Noh must have learned some new skills over the last days, training with her uncle Itachi... She's not the only one who has gained some new set of skills I'm sure...
Looking over at Naruto, and still keeping his firm look, Tadakatsu was as if hinting that he had and that he was set on unveiling them against Naruto.
Noh (In Thoughts): This is...
Sasuke (In Thoughts): You too?! I had no idea...
Being trapped in each others' Genjutsu, the two of them were surrounded by darkness, as only the two of them could be seen. Trying to overpower each other, they quickly realized that the only way they were getting out of there was by canceling their Genjutsu.
Sasuke (In Thoughts): Damn, you won't budge, maybe I've underestimated you...
Noh (In Thoughts): Heh... Sasuke-Kun, you are not bad either.
Sasuke (In Thoughts): Let's get out of here, shall we...
Canceling his technique, Noh's ended as well, as the two of them returned back to reality, shaking and clutching their heads, as if trying to regain their senses.
Sakura: Come on Sasuke, you can do this!
Magoichi: Don't let him win Noh!
Shouting out from their balcony, Sakura and Magoichi were both cheering as loud as they could as Noh fixed her eyes on Sasuke once more and threw off several shurikens towards him.
Sasuke: ?!
Just regaining his senses in time, Sasuke preformed some quick hand-seals as lightning charges came off from his right hand.
Sasuke: Chidori!
Using the Chidori, Sasuke effectively knocked all the shurikens aside as he then reached his hand up in the air, causing the dark clouds above him to fire down lightning bolts towards it, charging up the Chidori to an even higher degree.
Sasuke: This is it!
Noh: !!
Seeing Sasuke leaping towards her, Noh jumped backwards as she fired off a Fireball towards him, attempting to block his advance as she suddenly found herself facing against the wall.
Noh: No??
Turning around, Noh realized that she had run out of space as Sasuke quickly maneuvered around the fireball using his great speed, as the fireball hit a large rock behind him. Racing up towards her, Sasuke was just inches from reaching her as everyone got up on their feet.
Sakura: Is he going to?!?!
Magoichi: Noh!!!
Naruto: Look out, get out of the way!!
Tadakatsu: No way?!
Even Tadakatsu rose to his feet as both him and Naruto seemed to be about to leap off from the balcony to interfere with the attack and stop the fight.
Noh (In Thoughts): Will I make it?!
Clapping her hands together, Noh tried to come up with an attack, but just as she did, Sasuke had already reached up to her as his electrified hand went flying straight towards her face.
Noh: !!
Naruto: Noooooh!!!!!!!!!
Minato: ?!
Mu: No!!!
Saria: ?!
Sasuke: ...
Noh: Sasuke-Kun...
Closing her eyes, expecting to be hit, Noh then opened them up again as Sasuke's face was right next to hers. His Chidori, had went passed her and into the wall behind her, as Sasuke had decided not to kill her with it, literally speaking.
Sasuke: *Pant, Pant* I just couldn't let myself scratch your lovely face, or my brother, Naruto, would probably have killed me, hehe.
Noh: Sasuke-Kun you...
Realizing what had happened, tears formed in Noh's eyes as she couldn't believe her eyes. Pulling his hand out from the wall again, some rocks fell to the ground as Sasuke took a few steps back.
Sasuke: You know, you could have easily stabbed me with a kunai there... I was weak and open, and you could have taken advantage of that...
Noh: Sasuke-Kun, how can you say such a thing?! I couldn't have...
Falling to her knees, Noh wasn't able to control her tears as Sasuke turned his back on her for a few seconds.
Sasuke: Hehe, I just couldn't do it Naruto...
Looking up at the balcony where Naruto, Tadakatsu, Magoichi and Sakura sat, Sasuke saw that the four of them slowly sat down in their seats again as a smile formed on his face seeing the expression on Naruto's. He then looked over at the Kages' balcony, as Minato nodded back at him, as if saying that he made the right choice. Beside him, Saria had hid her face in Mu's grasp as she thought Minato's son was going to kill her daughter. Hearing Mu telling her that it was okay, she too lifted her face up as she looked down on the battlefield again.
Sasuke: Huff... This fight is over...
Noh: I...
Sasuke: Unless you want to continue that is?
Noh: No, I...
Sasuke: Heh, well I guess I better surrender then...
Noh: What?!
Sasuke: I don't have it in my heart to harm you, so what else is there to do? You're crying like a little girl, hehe, and I'm... I'm a mess... So, unless you want to drag this on much further, we might as well let Naruto and Tadakatsu get their fight goin-...
Noh: In that case, I surrender...
Sasuke: ...
Catching his attention, Sasuke turned around towards her again as she continued.
Noh: Ref...
Calling over the ref, Noh then mumbled some words in his ears as he then turned around towards the crowd again.
Sasuke: Wait, what are you doing?!
Referee: Uchiha Noh has forfeited from this match! The winner, and the first Finalist of this year's Chunin Exam... Uchiha Sasuke!
Sasuke: I...
Noh: It was the right thing to do...
Forming a smile on her face as she was wiping her tears, Noh then got back up on her feet as she went over to Sasuke giving him a hug before raising his hand in the air. At this, the crowd got ecstatic as Naruto, Tadakatsu, Magoichi and Sakura were relieved that no one got harmed, as Minato was proud of his son, showing that even though the Chunin Exam was utmost important, he didn't exceed what was necessary. Both Mu and Saria were on the brink of an emotional ride as they didn't know what to say. Ebizo on the other hand, was applauding the contestants, and so was Okuni.
Sasuke: Heh, well it was a good fight Noh... For as long as it lasted.
Noh: Yeah... You deserve to be in the final, Sasuke-Kun.
Sasuke: Hehe, yeah I'm not so sure...
Laying his arm around Noh, the two of them then proceeded off the field as Minato addressed the audience once more.
Minato: What a match! Phew! Ehm, well then, shall we just get on to the next match as well, or would the audience perhaps want a break first?
At this question, the crowd roared out in mutual whistling, signaling that they were ready for more. Hearing this, the Kages simply laughed as Minato raised both his hands in the air and continued.
Minato: Alright, alright, I hear you! The second and final match for today, is the fight between Uzumaki Naruto and Senju Tadakatsu! Contestants, please step forward!
Naruto: So it begins...
Tadakatsu: Hopefully, you'll at least give me a proper challenge Naruto...
Both looking at each other, the two of them rose from their seats as they headed down to the battlefield. The fight that everyone had been waiting for was just about to begin. Uzumaki vs Senju, Naruto vs Tadakatsu, who would triumphant and join Sasuke in the Final? The Daimyos were split in half regarding this, the Kages were split in half... Some cheered the Senju name, others the Uzumaki name, as the two of them stepped out on the field together.

Not being able to sit still, Ikari was off his feet, jumping up and down in excitement as Naruto tried to calm him down.
Naruto: Hahaha, relax already, Ikari, it's not good for this old man's heart, haha.
Ikari: Oh damn, sorry great great grandfather... So who won? The upcoming 9th Hokage of Konoha, Senju Tadakatsu, or, my very own great great grandfather, Uzumaki Naruto the 2nd, the son of the 8th Hokage, Uzumaki-Uchiha Minato, the grandson of the 7th Hokage, Uzumaki Jiraiya, and the great grandson of The Legendary Sage of Konoha and the 6th Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto! This is indeed a Dreamers' Fight!

Both squeezing the hand of the other hard, the two of them then walked a few steps backward as they readied themselves.
Sakura: Amazing, I can't wait!!!
Magoichi: I seriously have no idea who will win this... I do believe Tadakatsu's raw powers will be too much for Naruto to handle in the end though...
Referee: Right, now that you know the rules... Uzumaki Naruto, Senju Tadakatsu... BEGIN!
The battle of the ages, was just about to begin!!
Tadakatsu: Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgh!!!
Naruto: ...
Clapping his hands together, massive chakra began to emerge from Tadakatsu as he preformed some hand-seals at such a rapid speed, that Naruto had no chance at reading them.
Tadakatsu: Fire Style: Hell Fire, Blazing Inferno Technique!
Focusing all his chakra to the point of attack, Tadakatsu released a massive wave of fire as it expanded 30 yards to each his sides, and 30 yards up in the sky, covering the whole arena in a massive inferno as it headed straight for Naruto.
Naruto: ?!
Sakura: It's huge?!
Magoichi: This can't be good...
Minato: Damn...
Almost having to cover for his face due to the scale of the attack, Ebizo and Mu quickly gained his attention as they three of them smashed their hands together, forming a triangle. As they did, a large barrier appeared from the sides of the first rows of the arena, stretching all around the battlefield as it was locked inside it, as a mean to protect the audience from harm.
Sakura: This is?!
Magoichi: Are they really expecting this fight to go beyond anything this arena has ever witnessed before?!
Tadakatsu: *Smirk*
As the attack drew even closer to Naruto, Naruto knew he had to do something to avoid being hit, as the attack offered no room to go around it. Quickly preforming some hand-seals, lightning element formed in both his hands.
Naruto: Double Raikiri!
Sakura: What?! Since when did Naruto?!
Smashing both his arms in the ground, Naruto disappeared down in it as the fire completely engulfed the place he previously stood.
Tadakatsu: ...
In matter of seconds, the ground where Tadakatsu stood suddenly began to rumble as Naruto shot out from under him, attempting to strike at him.
Tadakatsu: Humph!
Easily dodging the attack, Tadakatsu jumped backwards as Naruto pressed his attack on, forcing Tadakatsu to dodge between Naruto's hands, as he sent out a powerful kick, kicking Naruto backwards. As Naruto came to a stop, his two Raikiri went out as he quickly regained his balance again.
Tadakatsu: Interesting... Maybe finally, someone will make a decent challenge... Because there is none, that has stood against my might before!
Naruto: Don't get ahead of yourself, Tadakatsu!!
Both of them smashing their hands together and preforming some quick hand-seals, the two of them shouted out at each other.
Naruto: Lightning Style: Needles of Electrocution!
Tadakatsu: Water Style: Tsunami Waves!
Firing off countless electric-charged needles, Naruto was aiming to immobilize Tadakatsu's speed as Tadakatsu sent out a massive wave of flood water towards him, swallowing the needles at ease, making the water electrified in the process as it headed for Naruto.
Naruto: Damn, what size are you able to make of your attacks?! Raikiri!
Quickly forming two Raikiri in his hands once more, Naruto prepared to launch straight at it as he stretched both his hands towards it and smashed a hole straight through the wave, aiming to both surprise and hit Tadakatsu with the counter attack. Flying straight in at him, Tadakatsu quickly reacted as he swiftly grabbed onto Naruto's hands, trying to toss him away. Naruto however, held his ground, as he jumped upwards, while Tadakatsu still was holding onto his hands, as he kicked him in the chest with both of his feet, sending him tumbling backwards, while Naruto himself, landed on his back as well.
Sakura: I had no idea Tadakatsu had both Fire, Wind and Water Style?!
Magoichi: He doesn't...
Sakura: Huh, what do you mean?
Magoichi: The Heaven and Hell Swords are actually infused with Fire Style and Wind Style, and Tadakatsu only know how to use Fire Style separately... However, he does indeed have a third element as well, which is rare for a Shinobi his age...
Sakura: Oh? What element is that Magoichi??
Magoichi: You will have to wait and see, Sakura...
Tadakatsu: Not bad... Not bad at all, Naruto!!!
Getting back up on his feet again, Tadakatsu grasped his right fist with his left hand as he was pumped to get the real battle going. Also getting up on his feet again, Naruto looked at him with a stern look.
Naruto: ...
Tadakatsu: Regardless, you will fall before me!
Leaping off, Tadakatsu aimed to deliver a punch straight to Naruto's face, however, Naruto quickly intercepted this as he grabbed on to it, only to be pushed several yards backwards, as Tadakatsu came for him once more.
Naruto: Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!!
Tadakatsu: Shadow Clones eh...
Beside Naruto, about fifteen clones appeared as they all charged at him. Countless punches and kicks were exchanged between the two adversaries, as Tadakatsu finally reached up to Naruto. The two of them kept intercepting each others' attacks, dodging and maneuvering around each others arms and legs, as the two probably kept going for a 100ed rounds before Tadakatsu finally broke off and jumped backwards to get some space.
Tadakatsu: *Pant...*
Naruto: *Pant, Pant*
Tadakatsu: I'm not done yet!
Naruto: ?!
Tadakatsu: Earth Style: Earth Shattering Technique!
Punching his right fist into the ground as he shouted, the ground then split open before him as it cracked towards Naruto. Jumping to the side, Naruto tried to quickly maneuver around as Tadakatsu slammed his other fist into the ground as well. As he did, several rocks formed as spikes shot up in the air after Naruto as he ran around Tadakatsu in a circle pattern. Before he managed to come to the other side and find a way inside towards him, Naruto saw that too many rocks to count finally shot up before him, stopping his movement, as the ground continued to crack behind him.
Naruto: Tch... Raikiri!
Forming up a Raikiri, Naruto went smashing through the wall in front of him as he turned his attention towards Tadakatsu again, whom already had sent off another attack.
Tadakatsu: Yōton: Yōkai no Jutsu (Lava Style: Lava Monster Jutsu)!!
Naruto: ?!?!
Releasing a large amount of lava, filling up the entire hole that had cracked around the field, previously created by his Earth Shattering Technique, the lava spread fast, as Naruto realized that the large crack created by Tadakatsu's attack, had surrounded him in a circle, cutting them off from the other sides of the battlefield. Trapped inside a small area with hot lava surrounding them at all sides, Naruto knew this was a fight he had to take serious, or end up killed brutally by the hands of Tadakatsu. As the heat from the lava rose into the air, black smoke was spreading itself as the audience was at its feet.
Naruto: *Pant*
Tadakatsu: Now, no more running around...
With a very serious look on his face, Tadakatsu seemed as if he was way beyond Genin level, as he had spit out countless Jonin techniques after Jonin techniques, surprising almost the entire audience. Things now looked bad for Naruto, who knew he had to come up with a plan fast.
Naruto (In Thoughts): Think damn it, think!
Tadakatsu: *Pant* Time we took this battle to another level...
Slamming his hands together, the encircled ground below them suddenly began to rumble as it shot up in the air, carrying the two of them towards the top of the barrier before stopping just some yards away from it as lava leaked out from all sides of the now pointy mountain, flowing down the sides of it.
Tadakatsu: I call this technique... Death Mountain... Care to find out why?
Reaching for his two swords, Tadakatsu then got into his special stance as several of the audience seated on the first row had run up to one of the higher ones to witness the epicness of a battle that found place in front of them.
Ebizo: I had no idea Jin Senju's son, Tadakatsu, was this strong!
Minato: Damn... Jin Senju was one of the few said to be able to rival my father Jiraiya in strength, so I guess it is not to say that his son, Tadakatsu, would be any less strong...
Okuni: This is insane! Can we allow this fight to go on much longer like this?! It's going to turn into a battle of death!
Saria: Eh... I don't know, we should be careful at least...
Mu: Don't you two worry, that's why Minato, Ebizo and I had prepared this barrier to protect the audience with! As long as they are inside, it's perfectly safe!
Ebizo: Perfectly safe for the audience, yeah... For the contestants, I'm not so sure...
Looking down, Ebizo had realized that the entire ground below Tadakatsu and Naruto had filled itself with lava, as the only thing that stood out was the small mountain created by Tadakatsu. In fact, it almost seemed as they were fighting on the top of a live volcano as small cracks began to form on the top of it, spewing lava out of it.
Naruto: As much as I would like to have this fight the best it can be, don't you think that this is a bit dangerous Tadakatsu? Your Lava Style has engulfed the entire arena!
Tadakatsu: Come at me Naruto... Let me see you stand against my peerless might!
Having drawn his sword, Tadakatsu then proceeded with his infamous ritual.
Tadakatsu: Regrettably... Naruto, you will be just another victim to my Swords of Death!
Crossing his two swords together in front of himself, Tadakatsu prepared his attack.
Tadakatsu: My blades thirst for enemy blood! Blazing-shockway, Dance of the Heaven and Hell Swords!
Just like all times before, one sword got engulfed in fire while the other got engulfed in strong gusts of wind, as Tadakatsu leaped straight for Naruto.
Naruto: Shit!!
Seeing this, Naruto quickly reached for his sword as well as he drew forth the Sword of the Thunder God, as the blade emanated from its hilt, creating a buzzing sound. And it was just in time as well, as Tadakatsu lashed both his swords at him as Naruto swung his sword to intercept, successfully blocking the attempt. As he did however, he was pushed backwards along the ground, as he got ever closer to the edge of the small ground they were standing upon. Turning his face to the side, Naruto saw the hot lava flowing below them as he let out a powerful roar, pushing Tadakatsu's swords away from him as he then charged at him. Several, no, countless rounds were exchanged between them as fire, wind and lightning shot in all directions. The audience stood there speechless as they had never witnessed such a high level of intensity in a Genin match at the Chunin Exam before. History was being written before them, as most of them could not believe what they saw. Not only had more or less all of them got up to their feet, but so had the Kages as Minato seemed as if he was nail biting where he stood. The intensity of the battle then reached even higher ground as the small piece of ground that they were elevated up on from the rest, successfully split in half, creating a gap of two yards with lava between them. Staring at each other, panting heavily, the two opponents knew well that this was almost getting out of hands.
Naruto: This is madness Tadakatsu! We can't let this go on much longer or we're both dead!
As he said, the ground split again, forming a cross of lava on the elevated ground, as only four small pieces were safe standing on.
Okuni: Can't you three see it?! If this goes on...
Ebizo: ...
Mu: I...
Minato: Just hang on a little more...
Tadakatsu: ...
Naruto: Don't you see?!
Tadakatsu: I...
Naruto: Can you stop the lava from spreading any further?!
Tadakatsu: Madness... NO!! This is not madness, this is the extent of my POWERS!
Leaping off from the little piece of rock he was standing on, Tadakatsu soared across the lava in the air as he slashed both his swords at Naruto once more. The fight had escalated to a whole new level as two of the other rocks melted, and only two small places with a diameter of 5 meters were left as safe places. Exchanging several rounds once more, Naruto then took a leap of fate as he jumped across the lava, only barely managing to land on the other one safely. As he did, the whole mountain started to crumble as the two rocks with Tadakatsu and Naruto on them fell through the air towards the ground, as the mountain of lava crumbled beneath them.
Naruto: !!
Tadakatsu: Aaaaaaargh!
Leaping off from his rock, Tadakatsu came straight for him as the two fought fiercely on the only remaining rock that was left, falling rapidly towards the ground. As they closed in on the ground, even the rock they were standing on began to crack as both Naruto and Tadakatsu knew they were in deep trouble.
Naruto: Tadakatsu!!!!!!!!
Tadakatsu: ?!
Falling fast towards the ground, the rock suddenly crumbled completely as they fell towards the sea of lava beneath them.
Naruto: Do a Water Style! Do a Water Style now or we're both dead!!
Tadakatsu: I... I...
Naruto: Tadakatsu do you hear me?!?!
Having lost his cool, Tadakatsu looked panic-struck as the two of them headed towards certain doom.
Mu: ?!
Ebizo: !!
Saria: It can't be?!
Okuni: Minato!!!!
Minato: I...
Sakura: Naruto, Tadakatsu!!!
Magoichi: No way.... NO WAY?!!
Panic spread through the audience as none of them knew what to do.
Just as they were about to fall into the hot lava, a bright glimpse appeared between the two of them as they both were gone in a flash again, reappearing on the balcony were the Kages stood as the last remaining rocks plumed into the hot lava.
Jiraiya: Phew, that was too close!
Minato: Dad?!!
Ebizo: I...
Mu: Wha...
Okuni: Thank the heavens!
Saria: That almost went...
Tadakatsu: What the hell?!
Naruto: Grandpa Jiraiya!! Sh*t, you totally saved our asses there!
Jiraiya: Something had to be done or the two of you would have been done for!
Looking over at the Kages, Jiraiya seemed almost infuriated that they had let it go that far without intervening. As everyone settled down and talked for a bit, the Kages agreed to temporary stop the match as they took down the barrier. The whole battlefield was covered in lava as the five of them scratched their heads.

Minato: Calm down you two, let's figure this out for now...
Jiraiya: Yeah you better, this match wasn't exactly supervised too well...
Naruto: Hey! What the heck happened to the referee?!
Everyone: ?!
Tadakatsu: Relax, I saw him heading for the exit as soon as things got out of control, he should be alright...
Naruto: Hmm...
Jiraiya: I think we can say that we were lucky no innocents got killed today then... If it hadn't been for the code your barrier used, I wouldn't even have been able to get through it...
Okuni: Huff... Now that everything is partly under control, please step aside so that I can take care of this...
Walking forth toward the sea of lava before them down on the battlefield, Okuni quickly preformed some hand-seals as a massive water attack emerged from her, drowning the whole field as the water almost reached up to the first rows. After awhile, the entire field began to cool down as the lava turned into hot rocks, forming a completely new type of battlefield...
Okuni: That should do it for now I guess... However, the design of this entire field will have to be redone later I suppose...
Sitting back down in her seat, Okuni seemed perplexed on the whole situation.
Naruto: So what now?
Minato: Now?
Jiraiya: You have an audience to address Minato...
Minato: Oh shoot!
Realizing this, Minato quickly rose to his feet as he addressed the crowd again. After a few minutes, it was decided that the fight would go on as the referee returned as well.
Naruto: Is it safe to walk on?
Okuni: Yeah...
As Jiraiya got back in his seat, both Naruto and Tadakatsu got back out on the battlefield, that was totally black, with no sign or earth, or life for that matter, as it had small cracks in it all over the place, looking like a burnt cookie.
Referee: Huff... Now, you two may continue your battle... Are you ready?
Tadakatsu: Yeah...
Naruto: Yep!
As the battle was just about to start again, both Sasuke and Noh were seen taking their places beside Sakura and Magoichi again as the two of them got updated on the latest events.
Referee: Then begin!
As the second round of their fight was about to begin, the audience's threat level was back to normal as the Kages, as well as Jiraiya, were watching carefully, to prevent it from going out of hand again. As a measure, Tadakatsu had agreed not to use the Lava Style again for this match.
Magoichi: Damn, and here goes round two...
Sakura: Yeah, let's hope it doesn't escalate as much as earlier...
Noh: I... I just hope they won't take it too far...
Sasuke: If it really went down like that, the two of them have sure got a lot stronger...
Naruto: Let's do this Tadakatsu!
Tadakatsu: Hell yeah!
The two of them both quickly bit their thumbs as they preformed some hand-seals, shouting out simultaneously.
Naruto: Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram... Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)!
Tadakatsu: Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram... Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)!
Below them, each their summoning appeared. Below Naruto, a semi-sized toad, below Tadakatsu, a semi-sized toad as well!
Naruto: ?!
Tadakatsu: Oh...
Both being surprised that the other knew this technique, yet along having a contract with toads, smiles formed on their faces. Tadakatsu's toad was dark skinned with some touch of yellow spots, Naruto's however was dark red, with some hint of black. Both toads had two swords hanging from their sides as they drew them almost simultaneously. As the two toads leaped towards each other, Naruto and Tadakatsu also drew their swords as they too leaped at each other, the moment the two toads clashed. In mid-air they met, as they exchanged some rounds before jumping backwards, landing on top of their toads again, as the two toads were involved in a heated battle, swords swinging left and right. As the two toads were fighting, both Naruto and Tadakatsu holstered their swords again as they preformed new attacks.
Tadakatsu: Suiton: Suidanha (Water Style: Severing Wave)!
Spitting out a high pressured steam, Tadakatsu aimed to knock Naruto off his toad as Naruto had already fired up an attack to counter it.
Naruto: Wind Style: Razor Wind!
Sending the razor sharp wind straight for Tadakatsu, the two attacks actually went passed each other as both Naruto and Tadakatsu were hit by each others' attacks. Tadakatsu getting severely injured by several cuts, while Naruto was shot straight in his stomach, at the exact same place he had been stabbed in the previous stage, as they both fell off their two toads, and crashed to the grounds on their backs. As they went flying, the two toads effectively took care of each other as they disappeared in two clouds of smoke. As both Naruto and Tadakatsu were struggling to get up to their feet again, the ref, the Kages, and the rest of the audience paid close attention.
Naruto: Ugh!!
Tadakatsu: Uggh...
Pushing themselves hard to get back up again, both of them rolled over to their knees as Naruto was holding his stomach, bleeding badly.
Naruto (In Thoughts): I can't... I just can't let Sasuke down... I have to... I have to WIN!!!
Tadakatsu (In Thoughts): What's this, me, Tadakatsu Senju, losing?! Get up you damn wuss! Time to show Naruto my real might!
As Tadakatsu finally got back on his feet, he clapped his hands together once more, as he started concentrating for chakra. Naruto, who had seated himself down on the ground, was panting heavily as he watched closely, only to see Tadakatsu awaken some sort of form...
Tadakatsu: Go forth, Sennin Mode!!
Naruto: ?!
Sakura: Huh?!!?
Magoichi: Damn... So he has finished his training already...
Sasuke: ...
Noh: Tadakatsu-Kun...
Minato: Sennin Mode?!
Standing up from his seat, Minato seemed quite puzzled at this...
Tadakatsu: With this mode, I will defeat you!
Naruto: ...
Leaping off towards Naruto again, whom were still struggling to get up on his feet, Tadakatsu closed in at him as Naruto sat in meditating position, as if also gathering up chakra.
Sakura: Naruto, get up on your feet!!!
Sasuke: Don't you dare lose brother!!
Magoichi: This might be it!
Noh: Naruto-Kun, Tadakatsu-Kun...
Just as Tadakatsu reached Naruto, his punch was just about to connect when a massive source of chakra emerged from Naruto, sending Tadakatsu flying.
Tadakatsu: Ahghh...
Quickly getting back on his legs, Tadakatsu looked at Naruto as he discovered that Naruto had activated his Rinnegan...
Tadakatsu: Damn... You got to tell me how the linking process work one day... However, I will still beat you!
As Naruto got back up on his feet again, the battle entered its final phase. Tadakatsu in his Sage Mode, while Naruto with his Rinnegan activated... However, there was something more to this whole process than met the eye, as the rest of the Kages asked Minato about it.
Mu: So how does this work anyways? How come... Naruto has Rinnegan?
Ebizo: Yeah, how is that even possible? And why can he only activate it a few times? I've been meaning to ask before...
Saria: Hmm...
Okuni: I heard that it had something to do with the 6th Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto the 1st, right?
Minato: Yeah well, it is a complicated story... You see, after my grandfather became the new Great Toad Sage at Mt. Myo, no one, and then I mean no one, has seen him, not me, not Konohamaru, not my father Jiraiya, not anyone... Thirteen years ago, when I became Hokage, Naruto had to undergo his final training at Mt. Myo. During those thirteen years, we were able to visit him there and talk to him... But after the Great Toad Sage passed away, and Naruto became the new one, he lost most of his humanity... He disappeared... Rumors has it that he ventured deeper into Mt. Myo, to the dark and holy place of the Forsaken Forest... Where the Titans once lived and the home of the giants of this world, including the Giant Toad of Mt. Myo... The place where only the Sage of Six Paths had ventured before him... But before he did, he left something behind... It was part of his soul, his powers, and it was transplanted into my son Naruto, his great grandson and name-brother... It works in the same was as when you would seal a Tailed Beast into a human, only that it's powers based instead of... Well, it's kind of hard to explain, but it was part of an experiment, a way for my grandfather to watch over the outside world while he is gone... So they are connected, linked to each other, and Naruto is able to sense and feel through my son every time he activates the Rinnegan, and when he does, he's also able to borrow some of his powers... Naruto, my grandfather, picked my son Naruto for this task... Not Sasuke, not Sakura, but Naruto... I never objected, and not long after the three of them were born, about five years I think, my grandfather transplanted some of his powers into my son. He did not give him his eyes however, but the Rinnegan is awaken through using my grandfather's powers... The same way a Rinnegan user is able to let his or her summons have Rinnegan as well...
Mu: Oh... Well that sure is complicated... I'm not even sure if I understood how that worked...
Ebizo: Transplanting some of his powers to your son... How did he do that?
Minato: That's the thing, I don't know...
Ebizo: So Naruto, your son, is able to awaken the Rinnegan by using Naruto, your grandfather's powers... That way, they are linked and connected like some sort of summoning technique, only that... it's not a summoning, but a live human being?? Yep, that is complicated...
Saria: Maybe we should just watch the match instead of trying to figure out how everything works guys??
Okuni: Haha, good idea Raikage-Sama.
Back down on the field, both Naruto and Tadakatsu were staring intensely at each other, as they were just about to continue their battle after a short break. Tadakatsu's wounds had healed due to his Sage Mode, and Naruto's wound had healed due to his great grandfather's mysterious gift. Together, the two of them formed a dangerous duo, and one could easily see that both Naruto and Tadakatsu were way beyond Genin level in terms of strength.
Tadakatsu: Heh, are you ready Naruto??
Naruto: I'm just waiting for your tired ass!
Tadakatsu: Hah, then let's get on with it!
Leaping off towards each other, the two of them met again as the battle continued for another hour or so, before it finally seemed like the fight was getting a winner, slowly, but steadily.
Tadakatsu: *Pant, Pant, Pant* Damn you Naruto... *Pant* No one has been able to push me this far before... Especially after I've entered Sennin Mode!
Naruto: *Pant, Pant* Hehehe, well someone had to sooner or later, wouldn't you say!
Tadakatsu: Heh...
Just staring at each other, the two of them seemed exhausted as the audience was paying close attention like never before.
Magoichi: This is almost too exciting... Will Naruto actually be able to beat Tadakatsu?
Noh: ...
Sakura: I can't say for sure, both of them seems exhausted...
Sasuke: Soon now...
Tadakatsu: Damn it, I can't let you win!
Reaching for his two swords again, Tadakatsu leaped off towards Naruto once more as he had a furious look on his face. Just as he was about to reach him though, Naruto, who was practically just standing there, reached his hands out as a force of shockwave shot out of him, hitting Tadakatsu head on, sending him flying backwards and his swords out of his hands.
Tadakatsu: Ugh...
Landing on his back, Tadakatsu seemed to be out of it as the ref hurried over to him.
Naruto: *Pant, Pant*
Referee: ...
Tadakatsu: Damn it, get out of my way!
Grabbing a hold onto the ref, Tadakatsu almost threw him to the side as he charged in at Naruto once more. However, it did not have much different effect than last time, as he once again was flung away.
Naruto: Don't you get it?? With my Rinnegan and a taste of the powers of my great grandfather, even you can't stop me Tadakatsu!
Tadakatsu: Shut your Fu*king trap Naruto, I will break through your Shinra Tensei (Almighty Push), no matter what!!
As he said, another push of chakra emerged from him as he preformed some quick hand-seals...
Tadakatsu: I will defeat you, no matter what!! You hear that?! I can't lose!!
Naruto: ?!
Tadakatsu: Yōton: Yōkai no Jutsu (Lava Style: Lava Monster Jutsu)!!
Releasing another wave of lava, Tadakatsu was set at winning the match, regardless of outcome as the lava went straight for Naruto. Pushing out another Almighty Push, Naruto kept the lava in check, but he soon realized that it was breaking through as Tadakatsu continued to spew out lava nonstop.
Naruto: Shit!
Breaking through his defense, Naruto had to jump backwards, as Tadakatsu came running towards him, having picked up his swords again.
Naruto: Damn it, I thought the Kages told you not to use-...
Tadakatsu: Shut up!!!!!!!!!
Naruto: !!
Slashing at him, Naruto just barely managed to get out his sword as they fiercely exchanged several rounds. Being in full rage, Tadakatsu applied more and more power to each stroke through his Sage Mode as he successfully was able to knock Naruto's sword out of his hands. As he did, Naruto quickly dodged his follow up swings as he tackled Tadakatsu, causing the two of them to fall on the ground as they exchanged on being on top dealing out blows. It was totally going out of hands as none of the two warriors refused to back down.
Tadakatsu: I will win!!!
Naruto: No way!!!
Tadakatsu: Give in you bastard!!!
Naruto: No, you give in Tadakatsu!!
Just managing to break away from him, Naruto rolled forward as he quickly jumped over a stream of lava. Landing on the other side, Naruto looked at Tadakatsu, as his Sage mode ran out.
Tadakatsu: *Pant, Pant, Pant, Pant, Pant, Pant* No... No, this can't be happening...
However, it wasn't only Tadakatsu that was at his limit, as Naruto's Rinnegan shut off and the powers that came with it run out as well.
Naruto: *Pant, Pant, Pant, Pant* Heh, this is going nowhere...
Tadakatsu: Damn it, damn it all...
Forcing himself up on his feet again, Tadakatsu aimed for one last push.
Tadakatsu: Naruto!!!!
Naruto: Tadakatsu!!!
Jumping towards each other, they met mid-air right beside the lava stream as they simply crashed into each other, none of them being able to deliver a punch. Landing on their backs on the ground, the ref quickly hurried over to them as the crowd was at its peak in excitement.
Referee: ...
Looking down at them, the ref realized that none of them were able to go much further on as they both struggled to get back up again. As if time slowed down, the two of them looked at each other as they first managed to get back up to their knees, then up to one foot, then the other, as they were forcing themselves to stand tall. Just as it seemed that both of them had managed to get back up, something indeed happened.
Naruto: ...
Tadakatsu: Heh... Fire Sty-...
Clapping his hands together, Tadakatsu was just about to preform another technique when he went completely out of chakra. Tumbling over in the air, Tadakatsu crashed to the ground as he fainted from the long and intense battle.
Referee: ...Winner, Uzumaki Naruto!!!
Naruto: Ug...
Going over to him, the ref raised his hand in the air, but just as he did, Naruto as well tumbled over as he too fainted from exhaustion. The crowd was ecstatic, the Kages and the Daimyos could not believe their eyes. Sakura was jumping up and down, Magoichi had dropped his jaw to the ground, completely shocked on how it all ended. Noh just stood there and Sasuke... Sasuke formed a smile on his face... As he knew right there that he was going to face his own brother in the Chunin Exam Final... How he was going to possibly win though, that was something he hadn't thought much of yet, as he too clapped his hands.
Minato: There you have it!!!
Having risen to his feet, Minato applauded as he was joined by the rest of the Kages.
Minato: This means that the Chunin Exam Final will be between Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto!
Ebizo: And also, it will take place in just three days!
Massive roar was heard as the crowd went bananas, slowly starting to leave the arena. Minato could not have been more proud to have both his sons in the Final, as Jiraiya, Aiko, and lots of others were seen smiling as well.
Mu: I guess this concludes this day then... Oh boy did this fight exceed any expectations!
Saria: Haha, I almost fear that the Final will be a boring one in comparison!
Okuni: Hehe, only time will tell!
As the days went by, Naruto had managed to recover and though he still felt a bit tired from the last match, he could not wait for the fight to begin as both he and Sasuke entered the arena. On the third row sat Magoichi, Noh, Sakura and Tadakatsu, and Tadakatsu wasn't exactly in a joyful mood to say the least.
Referee: Uchiha Sasuke, Uzumaki Naruto.. Are you ready??
Naruto: Indeed I am!
Sasuke: Yeah! Brother, give me your best!
Referee: Then begin!
As the fight begun, the two of them leaped off against each other, clashing immediately to the roar and the excitement of the crowd. Having anticipated this fight for some days now, Minato, together with the rest of the Kages, were joined by Aiko, Minato's wife and Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura's mother, as well as Jiraiya, their grandfather. As the fight only just had begun however, a familiar face approached the balcony where the Kages were seated, as none other than Konohamaru himself appeared.
Aiko: Konohamaru??
Minato: !!
Jiraiya: Konohamaru-Sensei, are you here too, to see the match??
Although aged and in his early 70s by now, Konohamaru was still pretty wise, he had after all, kept the Anbu Leader position for over 40 years!
Konohamaru: Jiraiya-San, Minato-Sama, I bring urgent news!
Jiraiya: ?!
Ebizo: What do you mean?
Konohamaru: *Pant* Naruto... Naruto has returned from the Forsaken Forest of Mt. Myo, and he has called for us immediately!!
Minato: What?!
Jiraiya: Father has what?!
Mu: How... Why?
Saria: What does this mean?
Okuni: ...
Konohamaru, having a scout toad always by his side, in case Naruto needed to contact the outside world, had not heard a single word in half a year since Naruto became the new Great Toad Sage, however, this very morning, the toad suddenly had a message for him as he had hurried himself over to the arena where the Chunin Exam Final took place to share it.
Konohamaru: What this means is that Naruto has something urgent to share, and that the three of us, have to go to him immediately!
Minato: I don't understand, why would he?!
Jiraiya: What can he possible have to-...
Konohamaru: It's about Zetsu!
Everyone: What?!
Hearing this, all of the Kages rose to their feet as Minato turned his attention towards the ref, signaling him to temporary stop the match between Naruto and Sasuke.
Sasuke: Huh?
Naruto: What does father mean by stopping the match? Sure you read it right?
Referee: Yeah, just hold your ground...
Minato: Then we need to go this instant!
Jiraiya: ...
Mu: What about the match??
Minato: !!
Ebizo: Should we cancel it for now or...
Okuni: Cancel it?! If we cancel it, wouldn't that rise suspicion? If Zetsu gets as much as a hint that we're on to him, he might...
Saria: Besides, we can't let the crowd down either...
Jiraiya: You two are right... Minato, Konohamaru, let's head to Mt. Myo this instance...
Minato: Right... Mu, Ebizo, Saria and Okuni... I'll have you watch over the match in the meantime, alright?
Mu: Sure...
Konohamaru: Well then, what are we waiting for?
Leading the way, Konohamaru, Jiraiya and Minato left as Ebizo rose to his feet and signaled the fight to continue...
Naruto: What?! Where are they going?!
Sasuke: Grandpa and father... They can't leave at such an important moment?!
Referee: You are to continue this fight, that was the word...
Naruto: Arrgh! I hope they make it back in time then...

As the fight continued and the crowd started to pay attention again, a certain someone was standing not too far away from the Daimyo's balcony, puzzled and in his own thoughts on what just happened.
Kakashi (In Thoughts): I wonder what that was all about...

Yamato: Yeah, have you lost your track old friend?
Going over to him, the three of them were getting quite old as Gai almost seemed to think that Kakashi had forgot where his seat was. Leading him back there, even more familiar faces appeared.

Sasuke: Kakashi-Sensei always had to think outside the box...
Gai: Haha, you are so right Sasuke!
Yamato: Hehe...
Sakura: Whatever it was, it must have been something serious seeing both Minato and Jiraiya leaving with Konohamaru... Could it be...
Sasuke: Naruto? Hmm... Who knows.
Hinata: ...
Kushina: It could be, but...
Shikamaru: Sigh, you guys always have to dig deep into everything, don't you? Don't mention Naruto, or Hinata will start crying...

As they were about to turn their focus towards the match again, someone else approached them.

Returning to Mt. Myobokuzan for the first time in over half a year, Konohamaru, Jiraiya and Minato headed straight for the chamber of the Great Toad Sage. Once they arrived there, and to their surprising, Naruto had in fact returned.
Konohamaru: Naruto, we have come before you as requested...
Naruto: ...
Jiraiya: Dad, I can't believe you're...
Minato: Zetsu, where is he?!
Naruto: You've arrived like requested... good. Well then, let's get on to it my children...
Naruto, who had been the Great Toad Sage's replacement for half a year now, had still kept most of his appearance and personality, but still, there was something strange to him that even his son nor his grandson could recognize... It seemed as if he was speaking in third person or even with an objective tone at times, something in which Konohamaru already had come to expect.
Naruto: Your son Minato... Naruto the 2nd, has been using my powers as expected... However, something unexpected has been caught in his net...
Minato: What do you mean?
Naruto: Naruto, your son, haven't used the Rinnegan on too many occasions, but, lately, he seems to have been using it quite frequently...
Naruto, who now had his Rinnegan activated at all times, did not look much like his younger self... Sure, he was the same guy, but something about his way of speaking had changed dramatically due to his climb to immortality.
Naruto: The Rinnegan... Your son does not have to use it frequently for me to sense the outside world through him... My powers being present is more than enough, and with it, I've been able to sense Zetsu on two occasions... Both times close to your son's location.
Jiraiya: !!
Konohamaru: What... Are you saying Zetsu has appeared in Konoha?!
Naruto: Yes... The first time in the Forest of Death a little over a month ago, and the other, in some cave in the outskirt of Konoha's north border...
Jiraiya: Cave?! Could it be where those masked guys had their camp?! Are you saying Zetsu was behind that, father?
Naruto: I don't know... Whatever you are referring to, it is likely he had...
Minato: So where is he now?
Naruto: After sensing him through your son twice, I've been able to figure out his code... his frequency... his scent... He is currently in the Grass Country, not too far from the Hidden Grass Village... There, he's trying to do some sort of ritual...
Konohamaru: Ritual??
Naruto: I'm not sure what he's planning, but whatever it is, he needs to be stopped...
Jiraiya: Right, we will handle it!
Konohamaru: Then what are we waiting for, let's g-...
Naruto: No... Minato and Jiraiya will handle this Konohamaru... I need you for something else...
Konohamaru: What?! What do you mean?!
Naruto: I'll tell you later... For now, we need to get things going. Jiraiya, Minato, you know what do to...
Minato: Right! We won't fail you grandpa!
Jiraiya: ...
Naruto: Jiraiya, use seal 666 to get there fast... The seal will take you to a small pond, beside it a waterfall... Through that waterfall, a cave... At the end of the cave... That is where you will find Zetsu.
Jiraiya: I got you, we will head there immediately. Minato, let's get going.
Minato: Yes father! Let's stop Zetsu once and for all!
Bowing respectfully, the two of them then turned around as Jiraiya was just about to use the Flying Thunder God to transport Minato and himself there.
Naruto: And Jiraiya... Do not underestimate Zetsu...
Jiraiya: I won't...
As he said, the two of them were gone as Naruto turned his attention towards Konohamaru.
Naruto: Konohamaru... You may go now.
Konohamaru: What?! What do you mean?!
Naruto: This has to be done by Jiraiya and Minato... they have to take the first steps as I've foreseen... Your task is not to help out in this one, instead, you will pass out the details of this meeting to the rest of the Kages, and act as Konoha's Hokage in the meantime.
Konohamaru: Huff... Right, I'll get on to it then. And Naruto...
Naruto: ...
Konohamaru: Don't forget to stay in touch.
Naruto: ...
Taking his leave, Konohamaru left the temple as Naruto watched carefully as he disappeared.
Fukasaku: So you are back...
Naruto: Yeah...
Shima: Something going on?
Naruto: Indeed.
Getting up from his chair, Naruto was joined by Fukasaku and Shima as the three of them left the temple together. As they were leaving, some of Naruto's Tailed Beasts began talking to him.
Kurama: Naruto... Do you really believe that bringing an end to Zetsu... That it will bring on true, ever lasting peace?
Naruto: ...
Jubi: He's right though, as long as you have that meeting left to greet Naruto, and that choice left to make, peace will never truly exist, will it?...
Naruto: I know...
Kurama: Do you think your son and your grandson will be able to do it alone?
Naruto: If they don't, I've developed a special technique that will work against any foe, regardless of state... Dead, alive... Won't matter... And if they are not able to handle it, I might have to use that technique...
Jubi: I thought you weren't allowed to leave this place in this state?
Naruto: I might be able to for a short limit of time... Both Jiraiya and Minato have seals on them that I can teleport to... They also have a scroll that will seal a range of an area off, preventing Zetsu from retreating... This scroll... this seal has a similar effect as Mt. Myo have, meaning that things can be summoned there if done correctly.
Jubi: Hmm...
Back in Konoha, the Chunin Exam Final between Naruto's great grandchildren, Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto the 2nd, was still ongoing, as Konohamaru returned. Explaining the meeting with Naruto and how Jiraiya and Minato had set off to try and deal with Zetsu, the Kages discussed and argued a bit between themselves on whether or not they should head out to assist. After several urges from Konohamaru not to do so, they finally settled down as they turned their attention towards the match before them once more.
Naruto: Damn, still with this thing... I wonder what the heck is going on?
Sasuke: And only Konohamaru returned?! Where is dad and grandpa?
Naruto: Sigh... We don't have much choice Sasuke, at this rate, our fight will be finished before they return...
Sasuke: They might not even return today at all... What do you say brother, time to get serious??
Naruto: Yeah, no more holding back!
Firing up a Rasengan in his hand, Naruto then leaped off towards Sasuke whom countered with a Chidori. Clashing on the middle of the battlefield, the crowd was cheering in excitement. In a cave across the border however, something entirely different was going on.
White Zetsu: Will we be able to...
Black Zetsu: We might... Still going to take some time though...
White Zetsu: The limit... If successful, this will be the final time we'll be able to revive him... And that will cost deeply...
Black Zetsu: The time is almost there, let's begin the ritual...
White Zetsu: Wait... Someone is?!
Black Zetsu: ...
Still standing there minding its own business, Zetsu heard some voices he immediately recognized from behind, but he did not turn around to greet them however.
Jiraiya: Found you...
Minato: Zetsu, be ready for your trial!
Black Zetsu: They are... How did they...
White Zetsu: Damn... He must have sensed us...
Black Zetsu: Well nothing can stop us now... As soon as Tobi is revived, the world will be ours!
Minato: !!
Jiraiya: How can you possibly pull that off?! Tobi was destroyed!
White Zetsu: Damn the Legacy of The Legendary Sage of Konoha...
Black Zetsu: Damn Uzumaki Naruto... This however, will change everything!
*Zetsu returns!!*

Fun Facts & Author's Notes:
1: This Series slowly draws near its end, with only one chapter and a Short Movie remaining! I must say that this chapter felt pretty good, and that I managed to show just the things I set out to do. Sasuke and Noh's battle, having just the right touch to it, Naruto and Tadakatsu taking it all out, even Zetsu finally appearing for real... Quite frankly, I don't really know much to say this time around =p
2: After three very long chapters, the final chapter of this sequel will actually be short in comparison. Chapter 3 (my 2nd biggest), Chapter 4 (my 3rd biggest) and Chapter 5 (my 4th biggest) of this sequel has been crazy in length and content, and even if they might have felt a bit dragged out at time, I still think I've managed to do what I set out to do with this sequel when I had the initial thoughts on it. In the end, the final chapter came out just as I had imagined, and I can't wait to show it to you when that time comes ;D
3: Did you guys expect the two outcomes of these two Semi-Finals? Personally, I actually wanted to let Tadakatsu win, but in the end, I felt like I couldn't, haha. As for Noh and Sasuke however, I always had in mind that the two brothers would meet in the final, it was just a matter of getting there to say the least.
4: Did you like the inclusion of the Filler Sword of the Thunder God into my Fiction? I'm actually curious to what some might think here as personally, I think I managed to make it interesting enough for it to fit perfectly in.
5: There are some details revealed in this chapter, like Tadakatsu becoming the 9th Hokage in the future... Did anyone expect that?? xP If you remember from the introduction to the first chapter of this sequel, I did mention that someone from outside the Uzumaki-Uchiha-Hyuga family-line succeeded Minato as the next Hokage ;D
