Itachi turned it to be iliusion.... and then used Edo state as adventige. Madara did the same when destroyed meteors and killed himself once.

Actually he didn't steal it, he accumulated it, and found a way to integrate it into his body. Not everyone gains those powers by drinking a quart of blood .


It would be closer to say Assimilation.


OT: The difference is Madara used it himself and hit himself. Itachi was hit by Kabuto without the desire for it.


Either way both were saved by Edo Tensei.
