What if instead of becoming a pirate he became a marine.....do you think he would have helped ace???? So luffy would have grown up same but instead of becoming pirate he became a marine with the dream of becoming the strongest marine to ever live(he was passinate just like how he is passinate about becoming pirate king)....he still ate gomu gomu no mi and he still got the Mugiwara but he is a marine.....and for ranking lets say he is a VA ATM.....do you guys think he would have been like Garp or do you think he would have helped ace???

This right here. Luffy wouldn't be able to resist the urge to help Ace unlike Garp. Thankfully, Luffy is little more irrational than Garp so he would have let his emotions get the best of him.

Luffy would've helped Ace. Heck, he doesn't even care about the "rule of pirates" so i hardly doubt he'll care about the "rule of marines".

Plus his a "D". They have a knack for stirring trouble and don't forget their smile whilst they do it =D
