I think Gai will one shot him with 7th gate at long distance.

Something of that AoE? Not happening, not when its fast as well. Isn't it his smaller birds that let him fly fast anyway? I don't recall C2 Dragon ever being fast, which is what is in question here.

Time out. C2 Dragon isn't even a bomb...those were the land mines blowing them up. Even if C2 was a bomb, this feat wouldn't be applicable since he managed to escape the bird before it crashed and hit the mines, not a direct explosion from the bird he is standing on. There is no way he's surviving that.

Not to mention there is still Hirudora to worry about.

Yes they were the mines but still, he was able to hope off the Dragon and create a bird quick enough

Catch up? How far in the air do you think Deidara is going to get before its used? Go read my other posts. He isn't getting up far, especially when he's only using the C2 Dragon.
