yep it is.
Vista was enough to tango with Mihawk,he aint defeating the likes of Akainu/Aokiji.
You're acting like as if Vista could not be able to tango with the admirals.

Mihawk back in prime I believe was the WSS, pure speculation but it is plausible. He was a swordsman, one of the strongest in his time, he could have been the WSS. So prime Rayleigh might win, as even when he is weak and old, he is taking on someone like Kizaru. So b/w prime Rayleigh and Mihawk, Rayleigh.
As for now, he had been retired for a long time as he himself said while fighting Kizaru, and obviously he's now old. So currently Mihawk. Although fighting Kizaru on par is a good feat(even the current Rayleigh is a little stronger than Kizaru IMO), but Mihawk could have done that too with less difficulty. why? WB=>Mihawk=>Shanks>An Admiral(WB defeated the strongest one).
Marineford WB is probably about equal to Admirals, not to mention Shanks. Mihawk is also Admiral level at the very least. Prime WB is stronger though.
Marineford WB and Shanks are above Admirals. Did you not see a wounded WB defeat Akainu. And Mihawk is above AdmiralL.
Shanks? Probably. Old WB? I'd say his equal. I did see WB get 1/3 of his face blown away to land those hits. Yes, he temporarily stopped Akainu, but Akainu recovered a few minutes later fine and was fighting the entire WB crew by himself without much trouble.
Point is, WB suffered a mortal wound, so you can't say he is stronger. His style of fighting was suicidal.

That may be so , but his "suicidal" fighting style was only because of the sheer rage. Sakazuki was almost helpless against WB, only being able to hit him behind a load of smoke. WB was already dying so the mortal wound to his face isn't exactly a factor other than the fact it sped up the process of his death.
If Fujitora is a swordsman and Shanks is a swordsman yet Mihawk holds the title of strongest swordsman it's clear to me that Mihawk is above Admiral tier.
Now when WB got his half face blown up, he already had many sword and bullet wounds and a hole in the chest too, yet he beat Akainu. Also in the manga, the punch from WB and Akainu blowing up half of his face happened nearly at the same time, unlike the Anime where WB fell on his knees after the attack on his face(censored!).

So I'll give that to Akainu but it's not that impressive, considering an already ill WB(Marineford WB) was wit more injuries and then Akianu did that and even after that Akainu lost.
He could've killed Akainu, what was stopping him? But he let him live.

And that is the reason why Akainu was fighting later on.
I don't see how Old WB could defeat Akainu without resorting to Kamikaze. Nothing wrong with it, just that the result would be a tie.
What stopped WB from killing Akainu? The same thing that stopped him from finishing off BB. He was sick. I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't kill or atleast cripple someone who just killed your son. And WB had just got his face blown off.
His morals stopped him. He was shown a little angry on Oars too when Oars sliced a giant Vice Admiral and tried to kill him. So he himself didn't kill Akainu too.
And also you can't say that he stopped because he was ill, we saw him fighting even after he punched Akainu.
Morals? Now you're joking. I have no idea what you're talking about. WB was a little angry because Oars was a huge target charging in like that. He was asking for trouble. That worried WB. I don't see what that had to do with his anger towards Akainu. He had no qualms about killing Marines. WB was no Saint. He was a pirate, man. He was feared all over the world. WB being ill and his body not responding at that moment seems like the only explanation.
Nope, there is no other explanation. If his body wasn't responding, how did he fought BB and his crew? He could have dealt with Akainu yet he left him and if I remember correctly, Ace was the one who was worried about Oars being big and a clear target.
I said his body wasn;t reacting AT THAT MOMENT. Akainu slipped through the cracks moments later, when he probably recovered somewhat. WB had already taken a lot of damage by then. He's desire for revenge against the traitor BB also helped him fight him. Here's my proof.

Can I see where WB is furious at Oars for slicing an admiral? I really want to see that.
Lol I fked up at that, I remember that the translation I read said something about WB forbading Oars from killing the giant.
So yeah, what was the topic, Old WB > Akainu. So you think, this puts an injured WB at admiral level? Now remember, this WB ain't Marineford WB because he was injured when he fought Akainu this time. And Shanks was equal to the WB before the war. So that automatically puts Shanks above Akainu(Admiral level) and thus Mihawk too.
So basically, the WB at the war(before he got his wounds) is still strogner than Admirals and even though he didn't kill Akainu, he still defeated him and that puts him above him. If it was a 1 on 1 fight and there wasn't a war, what was stopping WB from cracking up Akainu again.
We haven't seen an old uninjured WB at all, so I'm just talking about the one that took on Akainu. It's also not necessary that if someone is injured, he is immediately much weaker than his former self. Zoro and Luffy have repeatedly shown that. Even an uninjured Old WB was still sick and out of shape, as noted by Marco. His speed was too slow. Shanks was certainly above Old WB. If you're talking about them clashing on Moby ****, that meant nothing. Zoro and Sanji often get into little fights, which are pretty even. We all know who's stronger. I still think WB was only equal to any of the three admirals.
Even as a dusty skeleton, Rayleigh would still win..
