Mindset - IC, with killing intent.
Restrictions - None

This distance is too much of a ***** to blitz unless Gai starts of with atleast 5 or 6 gates but with intel on C4 he would want to finish this quickly and artist would like to keep the distance since he knows Gai can create a massive air pressure from air.

By given distance; i think Dei wins due to negated blitz possibility.

Hirudora is really the only problem here, and even that is debatable if it would completely knock Deidara out of the sky, or merely throw him back, Believe it or not when not in Gates Guy hasn't showed that much extraordinary speed feats, so how do you suggest to him avoiding the missiles and what not?

Worse case= C4 ends it

Well he covered over turtle Island pretty quick at 6th gate while merely jumping and using summoning to do so; flying advantage of Dei can be negated that way and he used that amount of gates even for capturing intent; with killing he would possibly start of with full 6 right from the start.
He might get to Deidara or not before shit (bomb No jutsu) happens; but Dei has the intent as much as Gai does.

İt Will depend on whether Gai can get to him at his right time or not. Or he can use Hirudora instead of fully covering all range since tech has his own speed and traveling range.

I âm not saying Gai can't win at all but the distance is too much.

I honestly don't know who'd win, but I looking for arguments. I'll try and do so for both sides.

The way I see it, C1's aren't a problem. They're easily avoided in gates. C2 can only be used in the air, and Gai can very well knock him out of the air. Remember, Sasuke caught him off guard when he used his sword as leverage and just about caught his wing with a chidori sharp spear. Well, Gai in gates was able to jump above trees in his gates form [

]. He'd surely be, at least in Deidara's range. After that, he should surely be able to use Asakujaku, and dodging it won't be easy. It spans a wide AoE [

], so moving left and right isn't an option. Even moving up would be difficult. Deidara should be weary, otherwise he could get caught.

At this moment, he'll probably start firing off C2 bombs at Gai, but of course I have no doubt in my mind that Gated Gai should be able to avoid them no problem. Since Gai only has 1 move in his arsenal that is capable of taking out Deidara once he gets in the air, he's going to waste no time at all in using it, especially since he has knowledge of C4.

Now, Hirudora completely dwarfs anything in Deidara's arsenal and it completely dwarfs any Human Sized object, making it difficulty to completely avoid it due to its AoE. See that spot at the end of Hirudora? That is Gai. [

If Hirudora is just compressed pressure and what not focused into a blast, can't deidara quickly fire off a C1 or if possible c2 at the Hirudora as it's not an extremely fast jutsu, if this did occur would it not disrupt the Pressure entirely? Making the jutsu or whatever you call it Dissipate and rendering it useless? As the explosion would exert an outward force pushing away all that compressed shit....

Well if he did it quick enough he would only be hit with the outskirts of the jutsu when Gai detonates it, meaning he would only be knocked off, and he can simply create a bird while he's falling which he has already shown to do.

If Gai fires this off as soon as he takes flight, it won't matter when it detonates, cause Deidara will be too close regardless.
