i dont think so if danzou killed him the police would have found out(or not).
anyway my guess is that danzou tricked itachi to killing that uchiha dude(forgot his name) to get his sharingan

What I think is he may have killed Shisui, but it could have been because Madara may have also pressed Shisui to kill Itachi in order to obtain the EMS, and Itachi had to defend himself against his friend. Then the EMS activated both from the strong emotion and because, even if he was not guilty, he had to kill Shisui.

Oro would NEVER let anyone else have a Sharingan if the opportunity arose to implant it. Oro was jealous of Itachi since he was a child, and since Itachi is older at the time of Shisui's death, i highly doubt Oro would have transplanted the Sharingan into Danzou for him.
And you gotta give Itachi SOME credit. I mean he is a genius. why would he leave Shisui's dead body to be found near the Nakano Shrine when all of the Uchiha were having a meeting and the only 2 missing where them? He's not that stupid. But I guess he planned on killing them all anyways

...oro and itachi didn't meet as kids. he decided he wanted sharingan AFTER he joined akatsuki. and yes itachi is smart. they didn't ultimately expect him did they? although by his activation of ms there it might have been from a genjutsu but Idk about that

That's a lie. Oro usually watch over itachi since when he were at sasuke age. before oro fought sasuke he made a flash back, when he saw itachi where on a uchiha temple room or something like that throwing kunai. oro thought he was going to get kill. since that day oro seek for sharingan.

I don't think so, this is the right time period you said it was, it was right before he fought sasuke
and when he decided he wanted sharingan(while they are in akatsuki btw)
the time period doesn't match up for oro to be watching him anyways

Vengance is right. There is a scene in the anime where Oro has a flashback moment and is watchin a young Itachi throw kunai and stuff. (I think the manga flashback you posted is in the same episode, but the flashback Vengance discribed is there as well)

Well...I would agree with you on that if it was a filler episode. But it wasn't. It was just an add-on to the episode, so I count it since anything like that (that's put in with the stuff right from the manga) would definitely have to go through Kishi before its put in.
But anyway....I just realized I havn't posted my thoughts on the actual topic yet lol.
So here goes...
Lately I've been thinking about Itachi and the Uchiha and Tobi a bit more and I've decided that I don't really believe anything that Tobi says. He's the main villian of the story and has much mystery about him, so I see no reason to believe anything he says.
So considering that, I've realized that since the story about Itachi we heard came from Tobi...it must not be entirely true. This is proven by the fact that Tobi "convieniently" forgot to mention to Sasuke the involvement of Madara (who he claims to be). What he said was just to try and get Sasuke on his side. He would've said anything he needed to in order to achieve that.
So I'm now doubtful about if Itachi actually killed any of his clan at all. I'm wondering if Itachi didn't make a deal with Madara in which Madara could take his revenge on the Uchiha and kill them all and that he (Itachi) would take all the blame for it. This makes it so everyone (including Danzou) thinks he (Itachi) did it (since Danzou ordered him to) but he doesn't actually have to kill any of his family or friends.
Now I know that Itachi showed Sasuke him killing their parents...but that could have been a lie. Tsukuyomi can show the target anything the user wants, so who's to say that he didn't just show Sasuke that to make Sasuke hate him (to make Sasuke stronger, to enable Sasuke to do what he couldn't.....take out Tobi).
Also, with the "If he didn't do it then how could he have gotten MS?" arguement....there are still many unknowns about MS. How did Kakashi get MS all of a sudden? Do you really think Kakashi killed one of his friends to get it? (and note, he didn't have it until Shippuden, so its hard to claim the Obito thing)
I'm still in the dark as to how Danzou got Shusui's arm and Sharingan...but thats not the point of this thread I suppose.^^

For your #1, I'm sure there's other ways to get MS. How'd Kakashi get it?
For your #2, He'd lie to Sasuke to make Sasuke hate him. To make Sasuke have a reason to get stronger. To eventually give Sasuke his power. In hopes that Sasuke would be strong enough to do what he couldn't. To take out Tobi.
For your #3, It's still unknown how Danzou could have gotten it. But I suspect that Itachi may have taken Shisui's body to Danzou as proof that he (Itachi) is the one that took out his clan. Then Danzou'd have the body and could take w/e parts he wanted.
I think he killed him and Danzou took the body with help of ANBU. Shishui could have been evil we don't know for sure and Itachi stopped him or Shishui knew about what Itachi was doing and it was do or die. But it is a fact that Danzo came by and took the body and fused it with himself just like how Kabuto did with ORO I'm not 100% sure though.

It is pretty possible that kakashi got it because he may think he is the fault of obito getting killed, he carries the guilt of obito getting killed so he activated the ms that way...

Well yea, thats the only thing I could think of for how Kakashi got it as well, but then why did it only activate in Shippuden? He's thought of Obito's death as his fault for a long time, why wouldn't he've had it earlier?
And then what if Itachi got his MS the same way then? What if Itachi got it by "feeling it was his fault" that his clan had to die, even if he didn't directly kill them and let Madara do it? It's not likely, but it's possible. But seeing the kind of guy Itachi was, and seeing as the story we were told about him came from Tobi....I'm just not so sure that he's the one that killed his clan at all.
