Alot of manga's copy other stuff, Naruto isn't the first nor will it be the last Manga/Anime to take inspiration from other works.
Almost all manga/anime titles have copied stuff.

There is no shame in it at all. It's just people being picky/assholes about it.

Enel is based off eminem but his look isn't like for like, Oda added parts to his look, that's artistic inspiration not plagiarism. Gold roger is based of a real life pirate but because it's not plagiarised, his look was edited as well as his words and he addedthe treasure one piece to the story. In the naruto case shinju is a tree exactly like that show...the reference to earth being heaven is exactly the same and the blooming signalling the end of the world is the same as well.

The shinju is currently existing without the tailed beast inside it and there are two guys that are bringing about the destruction in the show.. Code will know better i guess
