Possibly Ay could survive it too with lightning armor...........

And you're underestimating the power of Sage Mode. You have no proof his healing isn't fast enough.

The Sandaime Raikage can't tank the Rasenshuriken. He would survive it yes, but he wouldn't tank it. His edo form took quite a bit of damage from the attack from what was shown in the manga and anime. That would have been enough for it to attack his chakra network.

He means Tank it as in take the attack head on without any defense or dodging the attack. Meaning, none of them could survive it.

Direct shot with no Jutsu to defend? No one apart from the Hozuki brothers. Since not only does it attack the chakra network, it literally atomizes the body.

And how can you tell from that? It didn't actually show us it hitting him. He was down in a big ass crater, his lightning armor nowhere to be seen. To me that means it got through his armor.

If the attack was only just the first effect and explosive power of the Rasenshuriken, I'm sure he could tank it with ease. But the Rasenshuriken would atleast hit him, and therefore the secondary effect would take place with it attacking his chakra pathways even if it only superficial damage at best.

3rd raikage only survived tanked because he was edo. Normally it would destroy chakra vessels meaning that person couldn't mould chakra anymore.

Decent susanoo/bijuu could tank it.
