Chikushodo pushed Jiraiya to high diff until he managed to enter Sage Mode. After that, he pushed 3 paths to high difficult before Shurado surprised him and all Paths showed themselves, while Deva hided his powers until the end.

If Jiraiya faced all Six Paths back then instead of Chikushodo, Pain would have stomped him.
Why did Deva say that Jiraiya would have won if he knew the secret? Because he could have went for Nagato as well. But knowing the secret (that Nagato is the one controlling the paths) would not have made Jiraiy stronger in this situation, or what would have changed?

But it isn't a stomp, that's true.
