For once, most of the posts in a Q&S thread are on topic and actually assist the OP. Good job, peeps!
The bio approval may seem slow and that is because there are only two people, Caliburn and Reborn, whom check them.
Further delays stem from a plethora issues. For example, Caliburn is an administrator/current head of RP and thus, has a great deal of obligations to the site that go beyond merely having to be extensively involved in one or two sections. Also, it is important to realize that all biographies, whether they be made by new RPers or sensei, are read in their entirety. Some people may have short descriptions for appearance, personality, history, etc., however, many members take great pride in their biographies and will include a great deal of content that must inevitably be analyzed. Other delays come from checking each member's current rank in the three major tenants of the shinobi way and other, more unique things such as CFS passive abilities and specialization. Yes, far too oft... people lie or want more power.
All in all, please understand that due to above bits, checking bios can take anywhere from a day to a month, maybe two.
With that being said, I implore you to exercise patience and not ask one of the bio checkers when yours will be done.
