Which character felt like the most overpowered villain in Naruto besides Obito?

Pain. We already knew Madara had been beaten from the start of the series. Pain was the first godly character.

Edo Deidara is the most overpowered villain in the series, but was taken out too quickly. He would of soloed the shinobi alliance less than a day.

Edo Deidara feats:
1. Six Mile Blast Radius.. Pretty sure the only ones can out run this is Ay, Naruto, Tobirama and Minato
2. C4 Garuda, Ay is immune, Any other Uchiha is immune.
3. Earth Style >>> Water Style

Naruto overpowered Nagato.

But I like Kabuto more, the fact Kishi's only way of stopping him is to revive Itachi and let him break from the Edo Tensei via PNJ and "Disable" Kabuto by HUGH PNJ, if Itachi wasn't an edo he would die after 2 minutes max...

Pain, he was the first godlike character in the series, nobody else felt anywhere near his level in the series before, dude stomped Jiraiya, Busted a village and created a moon, I just couldn't see him losing

Madara was beast no doubt, but he just didn't seem unbeatable to me probably due to the fact it was already stated Hashirama bested him.

I agree for the most part about these two. Pein as Nagato seemed unbeatable with his haxxed arsenal at the time.

i gotta say kakuzu he was literally the longest living character in this series and his elemental use was all S rank shiz

Kakuzu and Hidan seemed like an unbeatable duo for Konoha. It took so many people to beat them and a little bit of plot. They were good villians.

Definitely Gaara considering speed was not really a factor in Part 1 until lee tore him a part. I say he was overpowered due to Kunai and chuunin taijutsu/ninjutsu was not getting past his Absolute defense.

When I saw Itachi's Susanoo the first time, I couldn't imagine a more powerful tech at the time.....until I saw chibaku tensei lol

Clearly Nagato / Pain. No need to explain. First time we saw his fight against Jirayia we thought it was a God fighting a human. Not to mention he crushed Konoha in a single blow.

Other than him...

Orochimaru. That guy literally is immortal. After he was physically killed he was able to be revived from the Curse Seal. Than all his popularity, all the people he had under command, Kabuto, Karin, Sasuke, Suigetsu, etc., taking on both other Sannin with hands almost literally tied. This guy is overpowered, or rather, over-featured.

Best villain of the series. Ungimped Nagato should have been the main villain. The potential is much better.

Itachi.before his sickness and death he seemed immortal,especially in part one.in part one he was the only known MS user and after he used tsukoyomi to defeat kakashi,I was like holy crap! Then he uses amaterasu to escape jiriayas great toad stomach which the latter said was impossible to do.
He made MS look so strong yet mysterious.
