if he hadnt betrayed obito and revived madara as planned then madara had no reason to betray obito and he would have become the jinchuriki and started the genjutsu

But then again obito was also planning on betraying madara because he himself wanted to be jinchuriki...

well, it's true. + rain village would been under hanzou's control and jinchurikis would be still alive and lots of stuff. 1 harsh decision. even jiraya himself got killed by nagato.. damn you jiraya xd
