I'd say no... personality wise they are different... meaning Mikasa locks away emotions (only usually stirring them around a relative).

Sakura usually is driven souly by emotion.


Pretty much Heroines is their only connection. I wouldn't define Mikasa as "Strong Willed". It implies a personality that is constantly saying they won't give up... she's more like a machine in terms of "Strong Will". She just does it because she can.

Oddly enough... his leg was never hurt. Instead his arm was randomly hurt... which never made any sense.


I'd also call that making a mistake as opposed to being a burden or useless. A burden has no productive measure. Mikasa even during that fight played an important roll in helping save Eren (even if she messed up at the end). She's far from useless as she's constantly displayed as one of the best human fighters in AoT/SNK.
