my way was the "harsh way" (i guess it was a little too harsh) yet naruto should not have needed to actually cut obito.. the chakra rods should have worked aswell ^.^
also, i think that naruto will let the bijuu roam free by using shadowclone jutsu.. its been shown that the shadowclones do not need to be of equal partings anyways..
