Parents, I love my parents, but sometimes they kill me.


Here are some things I don't like what my parents do:
1) I get in trouble when my brother gets in trouble
Ex:
My bro doesn't clean his room. I cleaned mines. My mom is already pissed about my bro not cleaning his room. Comes and checks mine.Oops forgot jacket.

"Why is there a jacket, right here!!??! You have a closet! Put it up ,right now! You know what, no electronics for the rest of night. Go to bed!"
:| Then I have to go apologize for my wrongs.

2)I get a bad grade on something, all hell breaks loose but when my bro does, oh it's okay. Do better next time.
Ex:
My brother use get Fs in some of his classes, and my Dad didn't say nothing. I get like 1 , F or D.
"Bring me my belt"

3) When my brother does something wrong, I get dragged into the life speech.
Ex: "Why don't you guys listen! Just follow instructions!"

I did what I was suppose to do...why am I getting the speech....

4)Favortism, is real. They be actin like. They don't favor my older brother, which is a goddamn lie.
Ex:
Me: MOM !I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! -trys to hug-
Mom: It's to hot for that...move.
Me:

Mom: THIS MY BABY! Come here -kissy sounds- -hugs him-

Mom:Stop getting jealous.



Then they wonder why I sit up in my room and became socially awkward.

Anyways, As much as there is things , I don't like what my parents do. There are things I love what they do.
Like when I was younger, when I had a full stomach , my Dad come rub my belly and pat it.

He doesn't do it anymore because I'm in highschool and that is just to weird, well it was before but whatever!

Dude I know your a guy you've changed your *** too many times already. The way you talk about your brother can only be said by another brother. Let me just give you a word of advice (because I've gone through the same thing) do not place blame on your brother for everything. One day its "his fault for me getting in trouble" and the next day its "I cant get a gf because of my brother" and finally you'll be saying " my lifes not what I wanted because of my brother". You see just look out for for #1 and that's yourself. If your parents start telling you to get after your brother for not doing something then tell them that that's not your job and that why should you care what he does or doesn't do. They should get after him not you. As long as you be yourself without the hassle of having your brother be your anchor down then your parents will come around to respecting you. From what I've seen of your threads they really do go overboard with you. You shouldn't be apologizing for cleaning up your room




.Edit: Also start noticing your parents behavior pattern. If they suddenly get after you for no apparent reason its because something is bothering them and their taking it out on you. See you should start noticing by now what is truly your fault. Only when its truly your fault should you feel guilty but when its your brothers fault and you get dragged into a "lives speech" then you shouldn't give two sh!ts. Again if it is your fault then judge if it really is that important like lets say you left a jacket thrown in the floor of your room then you shouldn't give a damn about what they say its just a jacket. Let me pull you in on a little secret. . . . . (come closer). . . . . Parents ****!ng love that their children are fighting back. Why? Because it shows that you can handle yourself and that you won't be messed with by someone else in real life. Your judgement of what is truly bad and good can only come from yourself and not by any methods of theirs. Best way to gain that insight is to be honest to yourself. Like thinking "I really shouldn't have gotten in trouble for that" . . . Then freaking tell them that their wrong and not you.
