......pain invades konoha; due to naruto's sensory skills, he easily detects the paths ( and if deaths occur, he detects the disappearance of chakra signature's )
with naruto's speed and chakra distribution capabilities, every shinobi gains a protective cloak and jutsu upgrade.
Kakashi has enough chakra to duel with any of the 5 paths except deva.
Naruto then goes to battle and defeats deva path, coming out victorious with little to no damage on konoha.

Wrong. SM alone can sense danger and chakra, and it's sensory ability is great. KCM also displayed the ability to sense any kind of negative emotions and chakra as well. BSM has great sensory skills.

I agree at some point, but...
Naruto only knows SM that time, not BSM
even if was Hokage that time, he wouldn't be in SM at all times
and he's not a sensor if he's not in SM,
he needs to stay still to absorb nature energy
and can only use maximum of two clones in SM,
his SM only lasts for five minutes,
if he's the Hokage that time, he would be in the village during the attack
he wouldn't have reserve clones with nature energy,
and once the SM is over, he has a very little chance of defeating the paths...
