Will Itachi be seen again
First of all a character like itachi wud be unlikely to be written out so easily, jus like orochimaru he shud reapear in the manga at some point one way or the other as he has contributed imensely to the story, especialy since he left so much behind with sasuke and naruto, which hasnt been fully explained yet.
Sharingan and Byakugan, Uchiha and Hyuga
Ok i read the manga b4 typing this, i read the statement a couple times and realy stoped and thought about what kakashi said.What it realy sounds like he was saying (to me after putting some thought into it) is that within the hyuga clan there are, "or at least were" more than one dojutsu kekaigenkai(eye techniques passed down through blood),and sharingan was one of them b4 the sharingan holders left hyuga to form their own clan. I as well as i wud expect other ppl did beleive they meant sharingan came from byakugan through idk, something like hyugas breeding with other clans, eprimentation on byakugan or somthing of the sort, but it actualy seems like kakashi said that sharingan originated from people of the "hyuga clan" and not specificaly from the eye technique "byakugan".
In the end, at present it can only be assumed by fans, as it is "almost" implied by kishi that sharigan is way better than byakugan but as ppl have already said, kishi hasnt shed "much" light on "all the powers" the "hyuga clan" or byakugan hold. Im saying maybe what he has told us about byakugan is realy all it can do, then again he has never stated anything that remotely said so(to my knowledge), and then there is still little known about the abilities of the clan apart from their byakugan, like example, uchihas are good with fire jutsu maybe hyugas are good with wind jutsu, im jus sayin althou it seems that way, we shudnt say sharingan is stronger than byakugan just yet, btw lol this was way longer than i expected it to be.
