I've been toying with this idea that the Sage was an Uzumaki. The conclusion came to me when I noticed Kushina's chains and the Gedo Mazo had similar chains. This can't be just because they are both chains so they look similar, that is too coincidental.

I also noticed that the sealing jutsu used on Kurama was probably the Sage's since Kurama said "Rikudo?!...". This can not be coincidental, what are the chances that a clan used a jutsu the Sage created. I mean it's not like Danzo used a jutsu created by the sage. Oh wait he did, maybe the Sage was also Danzo's clan?

Also I researched a bunch of Japanese crap that supports this theory.

Also the new chapter that states The Sage is not an Uzumaki does not mean he is not an Uzumaki.

What do you think of my theory

Well, seeing as his surname isn't Uzumaki, I would disagree...

Are you trying to make fun of Sir Derp Obito? Because we already went through that spell so I really don't know what the point of this is. Did he recently piss you off or something?

I came to these conclusions myself

Well I can clearly see the sarcasm in your post and since it's pretty much a summary of Derp's theory I'm pretty sure you're just making fun of him. I don't care dude I don't even know the guy I just didn't know if he had like pissed you off or said something else about it again because it's kind of late for anyone to just be dissing him now about this. The entire base went in on him already

Sir Derp Obito devoted time of his life to make theories about it and ultimately failed. It was a sad day for him. So nope the sage is not UZUMAKI.

If someone said something similar Im sorry

Just because this theory is wrong doesn't mean it's wrong

Kind of pathetic. The implausibility is weird. There was a lot of evidence and symbolism, but the base is far too conclusive. Kishimoto can easily do what he did with Tobi when he said he was Madara and actually recited what Madara did, and the base believed he was Madara.

Yes I've wrote about the chains of Kushina and the Gedo Mazo before:

Surnames change over time, the bloodline remains. It's just the same with the Elder and Younger Sons of Rikudou, the Elder was (First Name) Ootsuki while the Younger was (First Name) Ootsuki but their descendants became the Uchihas and Senjus, even if they weren't called Uchihas and Senjus, the Elder Son was an Uchiha because he was the Uchiha Ancestor while the Younger Son was the Senju Ancestor, same thing with the Uzumaki Clan: Hagoromo Ootsuki's Tribesmen/Kinsmen were the Progenitor Uzumakis making Rikudou and his kin the First Uzumakis.

That is why my argument has always been that Rikudou's heritage was Uzumaki, not that he belonged to the Shinobi Era Uzumaki Clan but from the progenitor Pre-Ninjutsu Clan that founded it.

Also, I've known for a very long time that the Reaper of the Shiki Fuujin is a woman, and I think I know who she is:

Unbeknownst to many, the Shinigami of the Reaper Death Seal is a woman:

The Reaper is a Hannya Demon who are all females and solely females.

The Shinigami is also a priestess holding a prayer beads and reciting a prayer before commencing the sealing ritual:

The Reaper's initial stance with it arms spread is a clerical/priestly stance:

Like Rikūdou/Hagoromo's stance:

You must be registered for see images

It was established and well known by now that the Shiki Fūjin required Rikūdo/Hagoromo's Tablet as the catalyst for the Shinigami Mask to unseal the Reaper:

You must be registered for see images

It is because the Shiki Fūjin is Rikūdo/Hagoromo's Jutsu

and the Reaper is most probably Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, Rikūdo/Hagoromo's mother:

As to why Kaguya became the Shinigami of the Shiki Fūjin, Kishimoto has not yet explained or revealed why, either as an end effect of eating the Shinju's fruit or as a mother's sacrifice to aid her son in fighting the Jūbi.

Here's an example of why things are not always what they appear to be at face value:

When Kabuto showed Tobi the Sixth Coffin, some people thought then that Tobi wasn't truly Madara and that the Sixth Coffin contained the real Madara, but many criticized this saying it's contradicted by the "fact" that when Tobi showed Kabuto the Gedo Mazo, he specifically said this (bottom right panel)

Immediately people assumed that Tobi truly was Madara because of that statement and the 6th coffin contained someone else (eg. Izuna, Sage of the Six Paths, Elder Son, Younger Son,etc.) then it was later revealed that it truly did contain the real Madara.

It is an example of how Kishimoto is obfuscating and misleading the reader, Tobi did not say those things to Kabuto for the sake of Kabuto (Kabuto already knew he wasn't truly Madara) it's Kishimoto speaking to the reader to believe something which isn't true to create the element of surprise later. That is the case again today.

I have seen too many of these threads. Is it really that hard to realize that the hyuga and uzamaki were the sage's earlier descendants and later the Senju and Uchiha derived from them. It's not a hard concept.

And most likely the Kyuubi's seal is the Sage's jutsu.

But we were TOLD he was Madara.

The Sage has never mentioned anything about the Uzumaki Clan. All we know is that they are distant relatives of the Senju.
