Hard work vs Natural talent

Would you rather start off as the average Shinobi and then build yourself towards greatness through hard work or instead be gifted and have a Dojutsu that helps put you at a advantage above your peers and keep building yourself through that? Basically would you rather be Rock Lee or Sasuke in terms of success and ethic

OT: Natural talent, so i could work hard and own everyone. Why cant you be gifted like sasuke and work like rocklee. if sasuke trained like rock lee he would own everyone

Rock Lee has no skill. He has to work for it. He has dignity. No one can say that he has been given power ups or some special ability since birth. No one can be rock lee.

Sasuke has natural skill. There are many uchihas with the same skill. Sasuke without his clan powers is useless.

Sasuke did work. He trained hard for a month to master Chidori. Kakashi said it was hard work. Then he did it again with Orochimaru. Really, this affects both mains. Naruto mastered Sage Jutsu in a couple weeks whereas it took Jiraiya several years to do that. He also mastered Rasengan in a couple days. The problem with Sasuke is that Kishimoto never shows him training.

What I find funny is that back in Part 1, hard work was pretty much seen to be enough to even match those who were born gifted.

Then we have Kabuto stating in Part 2 that those without talent are nothing in the Shinobi world, so they will just have to steal talent from those who have it....:|

Being gifted is better than being hardworking, the strongest Shinobi as of now were gifted and that is why they are the strongest.
