Secondly, you have no proof GSB takes a long time to absorb. If anything, GSB has exponential growth. As soon as it hits Susano'o, it will only rapidly gain power while Susano'o rapidly loses power.

Not to mention Kisame could summon a water dome around Madara to slow down Madara's PS slash, if it comes to that. In Water Dome he won't be able to gain the necessary momentum for a full power PS slash.

You're basically stating Kisame > EDO Madara.

Kisame can use all he wants, PS slash is going to fodder solos him. Slash is too fast to be absorbed. EDO Madara solos. Period.

Doesn't change the fact you didn't address my argument. If Kisame uses Water Dome while Madara is going into PS, PS will be able to gain minimal momentum for a PS slash strike. Kisame can then simply follow it up with Giant Shark Bullet and absorb that wonderful meal of ninjutsu.

Don't forget Giant Shark Bullet grows exponentially while making the opponent's jutsu shrink exponentially, so while Madara's Susano'o is losing power, GSB is only gaining more power, thereby conversely making Susano'o lose power faster and GSB gain power faster, etc etc etc.

Oh lawd... Immortal itachi; Kisame can't solo. Sad truth of the matter. If Madara didn't have the shockwave from the PS sword, then it'd be possible. But as it stands that pretty much wrecks Kisame's anti-ninjutsu move.

Though, with all the Kages there and Mei who was not suited to face Madara; Kisame+Gokage stand a significantly better chance at defeating Edo Madara. Though, the Preta Path clashing with Kisame is an odd thing. Dunno who would win. An Edo who can hold the Preta Path up indefinitely or Kisame's anti-ninjutsu attacks.

I'd say all in all, they stand a much better chance and I'd give it to the underdogs for the sake of it.

I was going by your standard of "instant". The time it took for Madara to form and stabalize Susano'o is more or less equal to the time Kisame took to prepare the jutsu.

Kisame can get an ocean out at the start before Madara even considers PS, and start preparing his jutsu from there.

The point is, in the time it takes for Madara to go all out with PS, Kisame will have prepared his jutsu, ready to go.

Don't forget there are 4 other people here to stall Madara.
