Awesome chapter. good to see Toshiro getting his bankai back. But are the changes in his bankai due to it being temporally hollowfied or because Toshiro fully developed his bankai? I'll wait until a better translation comes out.

Soifon's bankai explosion looked like an olive .-.

This is a bit DBZish: Shinigami have upper hand > suddenly 180° and Quincies got upper hand > again 180° turn and Shinigami get upper hand again.

"Bankai's have no soul"...bankais are supposed to be the physical manifestation of a Shinigami's soul ~_~

I wouldn't say the shinigami have the upper hand just yet; just because they've now defeated two quincy thieves. They might have regained their bankais but they're both still heavily injured. Not to mention that their bankai's are only temporally hollowfied, so they can easily be stolen again. Same goes for the other captains. The only one who is truly safe from having his bankai stolen is Ichigo.

I was mainly referring to the Soifon and Hitsugaya fights which the manga has been focusing on the past few weeks.

IDK from the way Urahara explained it the Quincy wouldn't be able to steal it ever again as in the effects weren't just temporary that only the hollowfication was only temporary but the effects permanent

Moreover I never saw any differences in soifons Bankai depite it being hollowfied. Toshiro looked boss but I'm not sure wether cang du is dead just yet

Chapters getting interesting to say the least, can't wait for ichigo to get battle/combat feats and more screen time, kubo isn't even showing him :|

It's only the hollowfication that stops the quincy from stealing the bankai. So if the hollowfication is only temporary, so too would be the effects it brings.

Yeah this chapter was a pretty good chapter. I really enjoyed toshiro's seen.
And yes I also miss seeing ichigo, so I hope the Quincy fighting doesn't take too much panel time.

It's only the hollowfication that stops the quincy from stealing the bankai. So if the hollowfication is only temporary, so too would be the effects it brings.

No they won't ever be able to take back the bankai again.

These fights played out WAY too similarly to their fights in the beginning of the arrancar arc. Soifon and Hitsu both once again found themselves struggling against opponents because their power was limited. Something happens, they can use their full power, and they pwn. Would have been nice to at least get different captains.

I have NEVER liked Hitsugaya, but he was AMAZING this chapter... his "cool" (the one thing I've always liked about him) no pun intended--is legendary!

P.S., he'd be a kick-ass villian, imho.
