In chapter 630, Obito asked Kakashi how to fill his hole while staying in this world
And Kakashi answered him by saying it can be filled by other people(his friends) as long as he doesn't reject them or their feelings, otherwise it would never be filled
What can fill a hole was even the title of the chapter:
Now the newest chapter's title is What is filled:
When Obito described the sword he was wielding, he stated it dwells feelings
So it's safe to assume the power of the sword is depending on the user's feelings
The Sage feelings within the sword allowed him apparently to create this world
And Obito wanted to use the same sword to destroy this world
But he lost the will to fight by the end by starting to doubt about himself, thinking about his friends, imagining how his life would have been if he didn't rejected his friends feelings, rejected his friends at all, so basically remembering Kakashi's words
Losing his will to fight, the sword who is supposed to represent the user's feelings broke
So Kakashi was indirectly responsible on Obito's defeat via tnj U_U
