The terrible villain says that Rikudou created the world with the sword. Which is either a plothole or a retcon considering that fact that Kurama stated that the Juubi created the world.

First this translation might not be accurate, second is that they might mean different things. Juubi created the landscape while rampaging and spread chakra everywhere while the Sage, er, put everything in order or something?

What do you mean too early to kill him off? We found out that the masked man was Obito 52 chapters ago. This fight has been going on way too long. As for him being dead, no he is not dead; at least I don't believe so. But he is defeated. The question is: will he become good and live? or will he have a final word of regret and die? I believe the latter is it but you never know.
