Jiraiya's Sage Mode Underestimated

I've seen many people rank Jiraiya's SM the least oput of all the people we've seen do it.

Agreed his isn't perfect becuase of the ratio of chakras he maintains (which are unbalanced) resulting in him turning slightly 'toadish'. Also he has to summon Ma and Pa to enter Sage mode. But this drawback is also his SM's greatest strength. With Ma and Pa, he is much stronger. He also doesn't have to worry about maintaining it or gathering natural energy, since the toads do all the work. It's essentially unlimited power!

He also has much more experience with it than Naruto and Kabuto, and the fact that it boosts all jutsus helps Jiraiya in particular greatly as he has the most versatile arsenal of jutsus. It's a pity, we didn't get to see it all against Pain since ninjutsu is useless against him.

Yep I underestimate Jiraya SM because I compare it to other SM plus it wasn't complete. You change my mind now

But people have to remember that defeating Pain in Amegakure, without knowing anything about him is suicide.
His sage mode might not be as strong as Naruto's, but he has more experience with it.

SM Jiraiya is definitely stronger than SM/KM Naruto.

SM/KM Naruto would be completely destroyed in the same situation Jiraiya fought.

You put it perfectly. If jiraiya fought pain in narutos situation with all the info they had on him, jman would have beat pain very high difficulty.

One thing people don't realize here is that every situation is different. Like in some situations naruto beats sasuke or sasuke beats naruto. A lot depends on where the fight is it, knowledge on the others abilities, strategy, and how the fight begins. a lot of fights could go either way based on that

Yeah... Though, it's weird...
To determine the intelligence of fictional characters is extremely difficult.
I'd say Naruto is as smart as Kishimoto needs him be.
Which is a problem when you try to determine it...
He has a lot of inconsistencies(the smartest Naruto was the one that fought Pain. Kishimoto needed him to be smart and made him smart. Now, against Juubito, he's allowed to be dumb...), which is kind of weird... It's extremely malleable :|

I think he was an imperfect sage because he need ma and pa. His power was just as high as narutos

I don't think Jiraiya's been underestimated it's just Pain showed he wasn't about that life.
