Nagato's seen war at incredibly young age and Sasuke lost his entire clan at an young age of course they're going to have different view points.

Also I agree with what Raekwon said earlier, just because Naruto's the main protagonist, doesn't mean everybody else has to endure like he does, that's what he's supposed to do.

I wanna add that Nagato had treacherous external pain and that his legs have been burned completely. Turned into a crippled skinny old man who never rests on his deathbed.

By far, sasuke as a kid had almost everything he wanted, the love from konoha, the girls like hime he had protection from everybody around him, HE HAD FUN, nagato didn't have any of these he grew up in a time war unlike sasuke who only hoped to see war, nagato had nothing to loose until he met yahiko and conan then he had to be the one holding the weapon that kiled his best freind, he watched the world at war sasuke just watched the uchiha clan got owned, yeah sasuke went through a lot of pain as a kid but when growing up sasuke had chance to let go the past but no he was just a selfish brat who wanted to kill one man, while nagato had none of that, nagato was just a person whose life was filled with nothing but pain, common even kishi had to name him pain, infact naruto's pain is greater than sasuke's own so please sasuke is just a selfish cry baby who refused to follow the light unlike naruto who kept on following the light until he reached it but nagato had no light to follow so nagato owns

Now, you can claim it was Sasuke's own problem he didn't make friends, but you have understand why he didn't in order to know his reason for that....the simple reason why Sasuke didn't try to make any friends was because he was afraid of being betrayed and hurt like Itachi did to him...so, any logical person would do what Sasuke did and won't make friends so easily as most moron claim to be....and if you think having the Village's *****es around your **** makes Sasuke feel any better...then, i feel sorry for you.....Sasuke's family was killed by his own brother,than Itachi had to show him 72 hours in genjutsu(3 days) as to how he killed their parents and Clan, and Sasuke had to find out that Itachi loved him all this long and he did what he did because the Village order him to....Sasuke takes this by far

nagato's pain was greatest when he killed yahiko and truly yahiko killed himself by shunsin jutsu, right to kunai in nagato's arms after that nagato exploded the rinnegan power exploded and he killed everyone, he learned he is god and have mission

to sasuke things went totally different: he was happy boy young still learning basic things and trying imitating his brother who is great at everything.. at one dark night he run home, everyone _dead_ and who did this??? his own BROTHER!! after that inside tsukyomi sasuke feels how truly powerless he is.. he cant do anything to itachi, far as he know. itachi didnt kill him coz he isnt even worth killing

nagato did turn good after serious battle simply because he saw through his own pain
i dont see how sasuke ever could see through his pain... but naruto will is strong and yet might happen

Nagato grew up in the hidden rain during its worst era, surrounded by war and famine. I'm not saying who's pain is better, but the gap between their pain isn't as far as you think.

Nagato had to kill his best friend. More like his best friend (Yahiko) accepted death by the hands of his best friend (Nagato).

Watching the DEATH of best friend and parents is more painful than watching DEAD parents and clan members

Don't get the wrong idea, I completely agree with what you say. I was just saying that he's simplifying Nagato's situation too much.

By far Nagato has it the worst. At least Sasuke had parents and a home. Nagato was homeless for most of his life until he met up with Jiraiya. He saw firsthand many wars and a lot of death unlike Sasuke.
