Oh my god.

I just finished Death Note, and it was amazing. Truly suspenseful, I was never bored at any point.

I think it's a good example that a series doesn't need to have 300 episodes to be good. One reason of why I think it was so good is because the characters are relatable, and it killed off main characters like flies. And because it was so short. If a series drags on too far it becomes repetitive and boring.

I wanted Light to win.

Second this. Code Geass is just an amazing anime to try. If you thought Death Note was amazing, Code Geass will blow your mind, and the whole mech thing is so well integrated that it doesn't matter if you can't stand mech anime, you will enjoy it Lol

I too loved it. I expected light would eventually lose after L died.. But then I thought he was gonna win when he met with N, but instead he actually got outplayed :/ I thought Ryuk was gonna save him but not even

As Light fan I'm glad he lost, Death Note's power affected his psychological tragically and in the end it was just like Near said, he's just a serial killer with a God complex. But Light's unique character and unusual development is the reason he's my favorite character

I actually didnt like it as much as most people do. It was a bit too dense, I would like it more if there were some light moments to relax a little bit.
