It looks like Madara has allowed everyone to go up against Obito while he just sits back and waits until it's all over. Looks like once Obito is defeated, Madara will jump into action and take matters into his own hands? I think Madara views Obito as a little pest in the way of his plans and he needs him defeated in order to make his big move.
