I watch every episode of south park and can say i enjoy it very much but,in most episodes they stick to one joke and plow it through the ground throughout the entire episode.

South Park Criticizes Family Guy for using nothing but pop culture references and cutaway gags and berate family guy for never having a streamlined plot.

However, i don't see how telling the same joke over and over or dressing it up in various ways is any better.
