God works through us if we accept his way. If we take in sin then that impedes him from helping us. We must be able to recognize examples in the scripture to real life. Only that way we know what to do. His way of life will save us all.Unfortunately there are those that do not believe in him nor the life he gives us and are unfortunately unaware of how dangerous this world is.

Bullshit. That's not God helping us through us, that's humans helping humans. If God truly wanted to help, why the hell would he use his perfect power to entrust the help onto something that could, and many times do, f*ck it up? If you had a precious car, would you let any amateur maintain it, or someone who is guaranteed to get the job right?

Lmao what a**? You mean the extension of your back?

OT: On a serious note, similar to what other members have said, I do think their is a creator. The universe had to have been created by something, but I don't necessarily feel that it's a "someone". And if it was, the universe was created so long ago, no one would have possibly been able to document it. I tend to believe empirical data provided by science rather that what people claim to have happened with little to no proof.

i see the problem is not just the face...

You mean empirical data given to you by yahoo stories or spoon fed to you in classes.

I mean the empirical data people actually research and study, rather than read in a book. I need explanations for things. I can't be told to praise something and not have enough proof as to why I should bother. Also, refrain from shoving your beliefs on to others. That's one of the main reasons people hate religion and all that relates to it.

No but at one point your gonna have to pass down that car to your unexperienced son, daughter, family member etc. Only through you will they be able to handle that car perfectly

Drop the car analogy, you're butchering it.

Perspectives, threats, fallacies, and pseudo-characteristics of denominations :)

I'm interested to what these fallacies and pseudo-characteristics of denominations are.

My threat wasn't to be a threat, but to prove a point.

And I proved to you that your point was pointless to a true follower of God

Well you started the metaphor and I but simply turned it on its head.

Nope. The analogy was to illustrate the point that you'd prefer a professional to handle something precious of yours than an amateur who knows nothing and will ruin it. Exactly like how I'm sure you'd rather have something like your life handled and protected by God himself rather than in the hands of another imperfect human.

What you used the analogy for made no sense as part of this argument, you can't pass your life into your children.

Begging the Question, Red Herring, Strawman, and Ad Hominem fallacies.

Atheism is a creed of understanding, a will to learn, wisdom through both knowledge and ignorance, and pathways to useful conclusions, not a butchering of stereotypes, antitheism, and faith against faith tactics.

Rasin you just want to see my face. You have a crush on me. You should have worked on hiding it better.

Anywho, it seems as if some religious people can't handle differing opinions.
