People that are not familiar with the ring don't realize that cocky/trash talk is sometimes needed for the boxer to pump themselves up. Keep your ego up, so you put more pressure on yourself. You'll perform better.

I feel it. I love boxers who talk trash. i love anyone in a sports setting who knows how to talk trash. but boxers seem to have the best trash talk on the planet. they know how to get you off your game. but Ali had some dope trash talk. he was almost freestyle rapping lol
