This is something I want to happen.
Sasuke's fighting style was much more interesting when he could get involved in melee combat, as opposed to constantly remaining in his Sussano. However, Sussano armor would have the best of both worlds.

First of all, to stabilize that huge Perfect Susano'o is time consuming. Even Madara faced time problem in stabilizing his PS.
And if (like you are saying) the Perfect Susano'o is compressed to human size, that will need lot of chakra as well Stamina to maintain it. Similar to Gaara's sand armor maintained on his face.
Well, logic doesn't really work in
Naruto. Naruto has done what the vast majority of jins have never done at 16. Naruto mastered Sage Mode in a few weeks while Jiraiya took years. Naruto at 16 combined BM and SM which no one has ever done.
Sasuke mastered the black flames like no other despite having them for what? a half year. Madara had it for decades. He unlocked Final Sussano and legged Sussano in a half year. He appears to be fusing it with Kurama. Madara took decades to learn that skill.
It takes years to learn something, unless you're Naruto or Sasuke. Thus, Sasuke can stabilize a Sussano even though people with greater experience. It's not logical but it could happen.
but weirdly it would seem kind useless as all the new power ups seem to be massive beasts
