Yowyan you always like to talk about Jesus as if he were only a symbol and nothing else. You say God is the metaphor of the sun but you really don't know what your talking about because you've probably never fully read the bible but just take quotes that fit your point of view.

We are talking about a lesson from Jesus saying that homosexuality is wrong (well as I keep repeating that only the act of intercourse between homosexuals is wrong). We are in fact on topic of the title in the thread and you are not.

'Tis but a discussion. Everyone has different views, mate. Even if you think they are incorrect by your standards, everyone is welcome to an opinion. For example CLU and I, have different set of opinions; which I respect him for, but I just disagree with that opinion, I don't give him shit or anything for it. Oh, and if you don't like what people are saying no one forced you to post here even look in this thread. =D

I've actually been working on a theory on why God expects us to stay away from sin and things of such. First of all, people like to say that God works in mysterious ways however that's only to not answer direct questions. So right here and right now I'm gonna tell you why God expects us to be Holy in front of him. It is not because you'll die and go to Heaven. Honestly that's the least of my priorities. Ok so why would God ask us to stay Holy when it is almost impossible to do? My answer to you is that God works through mankind. Sin impedes him from helping us in our time of need. Example is thatof a person having a tattoo, God strictly forbids any such markings on anyones body. This is already a sin that can never forgiven because a tattoo is a lifelong commitment. God will not work through that person because he is already tainted.

Still didn't answer my question. The talking snake is something that seems to have no questions about it, or people tend to ignore it.
You do know you can get rid of tattoos, and whatnot. Seems like I'm going to get a tattoo so 'God' can't work though me. So God expects us to be holy in front of him? Is that all the time, everyday since you're born? Even when you're a child and don't know any better, yeah alright if you so say. So lets say if I was to commit one sin, that would mean no heaven for me? Hello Hell then!

You asked if eve had taken the apple because a talking snake had told her so, right? The answer is yes. . . . Yes she did take the apple that the talking snake had told her to eat. Your point? Oh your saying that the fact that the bible says that the snake spoke is evidence of fiction. Well let me answer your question that everyone seems to neglect. The talking snake was Satan tempting Eve and thus making her fall from the graces of God. Now if you want to get scientific about the matter then you simply cant because this was a time when God made a perfect paradise with every animal being under the dominion of man. Now see the best way to have something under your control is to actually communicate your will to that animal. It would've been so easy to tell an animal to do something and have that animal do it. This is how the snake could in fact talk. Any other questions?

Edit: The snake targeted eve because god had given power over animals to man and not woman
