[Question] Shanks

I just finished watching One Piece episode 238, I wanted to know if Shanks is really strong or not.
I know him and Dracule Mihawk use to have duels in the past.
So far I think Enel or Darcule Mihawk are the strongest because nothing much has been shown about Black Beard or White Beard.
Are there any pirates who are stronger then them?

Dragon
Roger
Prime WB
Prime Grap
Prime Dark king (U'll find about him in future)

Grap is too old & Iam 100% sure Shanks can beat current Grap Mid - High Dif..

We still don't knw much abt Dragon as well as Shanks but I strongly belive that Dragon > /= Shanks


Currently, by considering the Hype Shanks can beat anyone Exept Dragon

Shanks is one of those strongest pirates to whom the sea kings also fear, remember episode 4 of one piece and you'll get to know, even though he is using Haki that time still he is way stronger than most of the pirates in one piece world

I think mihawk is stronger than Shanks. He stoped dueling with him, after Shanks lost his arm because he didn't want to fight him in his weaker form. So they were even before and now shanks should be a bit weaker. Don'T forget both are swordmen

Well Enel like he was back en isnt really that strong anymore

Imo Shanks is the 2nd strongest of the characters we know somewhat well atm after Dragon, though its quite possible he will eventually get killed by Blackbeard

Theres also Garp, Mihawk, Akainu, Kaido and BM and also the char we dont know pretty much anything about like the Gorosei and Kong they should/could all be beasts ... And ofc Whitebeard

And after than theres Kizaru, Kuzan, Rayleigh, Fujitora, Doflamingo, Marco, Backman, ... And many more who could make Enel their pet negative dif

You run on hype bro. Garp didn't fight in the War. He interfered once and obliterated Marco the friggin first commander of WB. We have no real power info about Garp whatsoever. We never saw them fight. But if Mihawk and Shanks fought countless times, that means their power level was equal or almost equal, as there was no winner

It's strange that someone as Shanks can be seen as an ordinary pirate with no Devil's Fruit powers, but you can rest easy. Shanks is far beyond our imaginations when it comes to strength.

I just meant that in the post you scorned hype, yet you used it immediatly. Of cource I can't say who si stronger, but I listed evidence from Manga. Mihawk rly said he won't fight with shanks after he lost his arm. And they were on par then, which means for a few years Mihawk was doubtless stronger than Shanks. Of cource this could've changed now, tho i doubt it

He's one of the strongest characters in the entire series and is currently the strongest character alive along with Mihawk. Dragon's true strength still remains unknown but going by hype he's probably the stronger than Shanks. Enel is fodder btw.

The way i see it Shanks is slightly stronger than Mihawk though.

1.)Shanks
2.)Big Mam
3.)Kaido
4.)BB (eventually he will be #1 at EOS)

I think Big Mam is stronger because Luffy already has beef with her and will most likely fight her with someone on his side. Right now, Luffy's target is Kaido, regardless if the alliance is broken or not. Luffy always sticks with the plan, so that being said. If Luffy was to fight Kaido who is assumed to be stronger than Big Mam and then go after a weaker Yonko, wouldn't that be kinda useless? Luffy should go after the weakest Yonko which is Kaido. (Technically BB is but he's out of the picture till EOS) However you can be right if he targets Big Mam first.

tl;dr Whoever Luffy fights first is the weakest

Well that's kind of a guess game for now. We don't know what'll happen between the Yonko and the rookies. Luffy could take out Kaido while Kid takes out BM. Considering that Kid's already been attacking BM it seems possible. Luffy isn't necessarily going to take out all the Yonko by himself.

Nah, u can't say that just bcoz Hawk eyes said smthng like that , Mihawk is one of the few people who puts pride above everything else, it would be a shame for him to fight someone with single arm even if he is stronger....

Iam not sayng that Shanks is alot stronger but It would be a very high dif match for Shanks
