2) Kishi cut the Hashirama and Madara (edo) fight out, so we have NO IDEA what Hashirama is capable of really. The only things Hashirama has going for him is his hype, and the fact that he's more powerful than Madara.

If it is "Hashirama + EMS Madara" then only Hashirama is much more useful than Madara because Madara's ninjutsus are not effective.
If it is "Hashirama+Rinnegan Madara" then Madara can provide good support to Hashirama.

are we forgetting that the guy put hashi under genjutsu in their last bout? He convinced THE GOD OF SHINOBI he was dead. Only to live another fifty years, while in the meantime Hashi died like in his mid thirtys lol. He also confessed that he could see through hashi's wood clones, but yet pretended to be distracted by one while the real hashi stabbed him with a sword? C'mon people cant you see kishi is setting up more flashbacks.
