Does Ino know medical ninjutsu?

But after Naruto hit Kakuzu with the rasenshuriken and was all exhausted Ino was doing something to him

It says medical chakra right up in there, but how does she know it?

Yes, at the end of Part I, Ino and Sakura enter together as rivals of sorts... Ino doesn't focus on it nearly as much as Sakura though.


She does; however, in fact have medical ninjutsu as she was asked to heal Asuma, but there was far too much damage. She went to heal Kakashi after Kakuzu nearly tore out his heart, and she was seen here healing Naruto.

at the end of part 1 she became Tsunade's second student, and Sakura even teased her saying "that makes ME your Senpai" so she's been learning from Tsunade the whole time but she's nowhere NEAR Sakura's level in ANY type of medical ninjutsu.. she can't control her chakra as precisely as Sakura, therefore her medical jutsu suffer and she is unable to master the monster-strength punches, which require incredible precision and timing upon contact, and she is unable to use the Byakugou. Shizune observed of sakura that she had incredible control to be able to do that and to save the chakra in her forehead for 3 years, so even shizune doesn't have the ability to control her chakra so precisely

You don't need to learn how to punch like Sakura to be a medical-nin. She uses the Shintenshin since she is a Yamanaka. Sakura is a close-combat fighter whereas Ino is more of a long-range/support character. Ino does have great chakra control because her clan's skills help her with that since they too require a great amount of chakra control. She however, like you said, doesn't match the level of precision that Sakura and Tsunade possess.

As for the OP, I knew about it because I watched it in the anime. I don't know it if shows in the manga. But even after reading the manga and everything, there are some things even I miss so don't feel bad. I thought you were trolling and I hope you still aren't. From what I understood, Ino learned from Sakura and not Tsunade. That is why she mentioned she was going to be her senpai. Ino had asked Sakura to teach her not Tsunade. I believe if she would have been taught by Tsunade she would have learned more and probably better. Remember they were rivals. But that is just my speculation. Not sure.
