Would Naruto be as great as DBZ (opinion, DBZ still #1 in my heart) if it didn't have Talk-no-Justu, or would it not be the same Naruto show we love?

i think naruto would definitely be better if it wasnt naruto has a great plot anyway you look at it and some pretty good fights but there is too much bs flashbacks and talking which alters the story and holds up more action. dbz just has a lot of cliche talking in fights TNJ is some bull shit and if it changes obito this anime is total ass.

when goku defeated an enemy they would just turn good like oolong, tien, picollo, vegeta, and majin buu(fat one)

atleast in naruto there's more dialogue to why the enemies turn good

More actual fight action, less talk no jutsu and bit more of mature topics, and it would be amazingly awesome.

At least DBZ villains wanted to see the world burn & weren't TNJ .

OT: No , DBZ will stay legendary for a really really long time .

Their turns were by far more interesting than Naruto .

Yeah , isn't that boring ? First Frieza , Cell and then Majin Buu .

Every villain in DBZ hadn't any solid reason why they wanted the world to burn .

BTW , DBZ is awesome and made my childhood , but whatever.

Yeah Naruto villains had awesome reasons for turning bad :

Madara : his brother .

Sauske : His brother .

Obito : A girl .

Nagato : Had a future but then a book came along .

I'm just saying that villains should never go back in their word just like the good guys don't .

Oh gosh... More people who think Naruto is purely about action. It is mainly about the conflict of ideals. It would be boring if they fought just because they wanted to. There would be no drama.

I agree, but it get's so damn redundant.

Don't get me wrong I love Naruto, but I could really do without the long dry spells of action, especially if it's only being prolonged by redundant dialogue "oh no you killed my brother" "oh no that's my ninja way" "Oh I see so much of_____ in you" "oh no this was destined".

Every arc in Naruto feel's like a recycled roided up version of it's predecessor. It really wouldn't bother me if Naruto just had an identity, is this a children's action Manga? Then stick to that. Is it complex story telling? Then step it up.

Naruto is about changing people's hearts. It's about understanding the hearts of people.
It's based on quotes like these:
"While you are proclaiming peace with your lips, be careful to have it even more fully in your heart." - Francis of Assisi
"Fill you mind with the meaningless stimuli of a world preoccupied with meaningless things, and it will not be easy to feel peace in your heart." - Marianne Williamson
"It is understanding that gives us an ability to have peace. When we understand the other fellow's viewpoint, and he understands ours, then we can sit down and work out our differences." - Harry S. Truman
"Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding." - Albert Einstein

I'm not doing this because I'm trying to look smart. I'm just showing what this manga is actually based on. It'd be going against what it stands for if it just did what you're proposing. I copied those because the manga itself showed us those EXACT phrases with different words.
Like this one:

"I've had enough, there's no hope left for this pathetic clan. You forget what is most important to you because you cling to something small like your clan. True change cannot be made if it is bound by laws and limitations, predictions and imagination."

That is the main idea of the manga.
It's been shown since he fought Zabuza - No, even before that. It was with Iruka. When Iruka said Naruto wasn't the fox demon in chapter one.

I think it begun when he changed people's opinion of him. The whole "Kyuubi child" thingy.

It's the main idea of the manga, you can't change it.
Naruto isn't about action with rock music in the background. The problem is that it was not very well delivered. You can see it when people create topics like this. 650 chapters and people still don't know what it is about.

Naruto TnJ Nagato with this "don't give up" logic...and he bought it?

I'm still trying to wake up from that.
