The juubi is chakra, that's it. It has physical energy (the wood) & spiritual energy (nature essence), nowhere is it stated that the juubi encompasses any kind of soul, that actually makes no sense considering we know what the juubi is comprised of.

Do the bijuu have souls? No, the bijuu are chakra in its purest form, the juubi's body (gedo mazou) has no soul either, it gained power/life from absorbing chakra. Neither of these pieces of the juubi contain any kind of soul, why on earth would it gain one now?

Well kusunagi was in oro's possession, if oro dropped it then it wouldn't have followed him into the gourd. Totsuka could possibly work on obito, but that's it.

Orochimaru had a piece of his soul in Anko all along. You cant kill orochimaru for more than 5 minutes, because he has his own personal set of dragon balls.

I think we are overplaying its epicness a little. In theory it should be able to do it All. We don't know enough to say what it can handle without seeing or knowing its origin. They way you all talk about it is as if it is a portable pokey black hole.

My official counter statement is: What can juubi do that would make getting close impossible? I.e is there a epic move that would crush Itachi before it could be used and win the day?

no when talking about totsuka everyone forgets one key point that is in order to seal something it needs to pierce it...! we all saw kusanagi sword of orochimaru couldn't pierce naruto in 4 tails mode and in my opinion kusanagi has better piercing power than totsuka so if kusanagi couldn't pierce 4 tailed naruto then totsuka has no chance of piercing jubi....!
