Well the only summon who can compete with her is probably the Cerberus due to the fact that it can't be killed so easily.

True, the cerberus seems to have the same splitting ability. maybe a larger sized Katsuyu could still finish him with her acid. In the end, it seems to melt things like it's nothing.

As for being able to summon her at large size. I think it's quite impossible as I said, the Shikkotsu forest would remain empty. If you noticed, none of the Sennin animals come out to play, so to speak, so that's why you can only summon parts of her.
Without the seal opened, seems like Tsunade and Sakura can summon 5% each of katsuyu's body which is comparable with Gamabunta and Manda/Aoda sizes...
I believe that Katsuyu's full size it's like putting all the frogs and snakes in one place.

Probably Hashirama can. He has large chakra reserves after all.

Well I agree considering I believe he has slug SM.

Full sized katsuyu for hashi would = GG...

Biggest, maybe. Strongest is doubtful. Enma seemed to push the kyuubi out of the village(It isn't clear in the manga due to smoke, but the anime depicted it as Enma doing it, so take that for what you will), and broke through mokuton like it's nothing, god tree like it's nothing, etc.

Probably the most useful summon though.

It made Sussanoo look like an ant (exaggerating but u get the point).

You must be registered for see images

Susano'o is static, plus, if she spits acid, it could have the same effect it had when Sasuke did his Katon technique. This is a 2 ways blade, so to speak.

Well I agree considering I believe he has slug SM.

Full sized katsuyu for hashi would = GG...

I belive Hashi's sm is actually Mokuton SM...

Mokuton isn't a sage art. Susenju is a sage art, but he can use mokuton without using natural energy. It being his SM "source" wouldn't make much sense. Yamato is able to use it without natural energy as well.

Yamato was just a replica of Hashirama's and he said he couldn't use it at Hashi's scale.
As for it being the source, I wouldn't call it that far-fetched. If you look at the tree and look at Hashirama's SM there are quite some similarities between them.
A tree that blooms which is similar to Hashi's blooming forest from which he puts to sleep people, sucks chakra, same with Hashi's being able to do so with the bijuus, also for the healing part, as we saw with Naruto, when he hit zetsu, is like trees came to live which could equal Hashi's SM healing properties.
Plus, trees via the forests and slugs are related given that slugs live in the forest.
So for me, I still hold my belief that it's a somewhat linked thing, however, different in some aspects and each with his SM.
But I guess we'll see it clarified later in the series. Not to mention, why woulnţt Kishi make a connection between the forest and Hashi by now, yet when it comes to that, it's only in the context with Tsunade/Sakura?

That makes no sense, who taught him how to master senjutsu? The great tree sage?

If you remember, in the past chapters he said he'll get stronger by his own and will learn all techniques and yadda yadda.
As for who did it, well, it's indeed a good question, but still, it has more similarities with the tree rather than the slugs.

The only issue is we've yet to see anyone be able to use a natural energy/SM based technique without actually being in SM/using natural energy. Mokuton has been classified as a kekkei genkai as well.

Wood Release Technique (木遁の術, Mokuton no Jutsu)
Ninjutsu, Kekkei Genkai, No rank, Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary, All ranges
Users: Yamato, Shodai Hokage

A unique secret technique that creates life, tearing through the ground!!

A legendary technique that turns chakra into a source of life. Now, Yamato is the sole user of this "Secret Technique" (秘術, Hijutsu) . With the "Kekkei Genkai" allowing the simultaneous use of the basic chakra natures "Earth Release" and "Water Release," plants and trees are created. The transformation of these displays a tremendous power in both offence and defence.

[picture of Yamato doing a handseal]
[picture of trees growing from Yamato's Earth Style Rampart]
→↓When Yamato puts his hands together to form the Wood Release handseal, trees grow from the steep bedrock!! If he feels like it, he can even turn a desert into a forest!!

If mokuton is a sage art by itself, and Hashirama can use it without using natural energy, it would be pretty hard to explain.

But Enma can't kill Katsuyu.

Katsuyu wouldn't be capable of killing Enma either. Far too fast for her acid. Katsuyu may be unkillable but the amount of people she can kill isn't extremely high due to being able to avoid the acid barring her being in extremely close range or a sneak attack.

No there arent, just read the thread.

Hashi is associated with slugs, slugs reside in damp places such as places which sound similar to the shikkotsu forest (assuming that its anything like the name suggests). Hashi uses mokuton, he is indirectly associated with slugs because mokuton is a common habitat for the slugs that look suspiciously like katsuyu.

Mokuton is a KKG, it encompasses two ninjutsu based elements, hashi's mokuton is not senjutsu unless he goes SM. Why would hashi even need SM if he constantly uses the nature energy of his trees?

The three way deadlock, what SM is missing? Who of the three sannin dont have SM? Who of the three sannin has a grandfather with SM? What is the third place mentioned by kabuto? & What creatures reside there? Just put the pieces together & its logic. ;)

True, there are some things here and there that need to be explained. There are multiple things I can guess.
It's either indeed SM but it begs the question, how did he get a contract with the slugs since he didn't have Byakugo seal as it was shown that you need the seal in order to be able to summon them.
It's either Mokuton Senpou only that when you get into SM you get a special kind of "weaponry" aka the Senju Kannon statue and the self healing [because as we saw, without the SM activated he didn't heal]
OR
It's SSM and he got it through Mito who had that forehead diamond which could somewhat grant him access to the slugs via her.
But given the similarities I have seen, I tend to believe, as I said, that it has to do with the Mokuton itself. Otherwise, why haven't the slugs interacted with Hashirama till now?

Trust me, I did, but it doesn't fit. Hashi was never associated with Slugs till now, he never even spoke to Katsuyu till now. The one you can associate is rather with Mito than him as she had the Byakugo diamond seal.
As for what it is, I know what it is, but going behind that, if you leave that up, the similarities between the tree and his mokuton is rather quite strong.

Think about it, he could very well have one because:
Three magic places associated with the 3 animals that was said to known/attain/whatever Senjutsu as in, Natural Energy.
But then, with the whole Bijuu transformation thing, in-between, we get another mention of Natural Energy. And that being TenTails... which surprinsingly transforms into a tree that has similar traits with Hashi's SM and techniques.
Thus, we have a 4th mention of Natural Energy which breaks the whole 3 magic places. Thus, we can conclude that besides those 3 magic places, there's an ultimate source of Natural Energy that is the Tree itself [somehow, dunno, this need to be further explained] which only leads logically to the idea that his SM is unique to him and has nothing to do with the Animal Trinity and their Natural Energy possesion/Sage Modes.

I'm not saying Hashi's SM is linked to Katsuyu myself. It being linked to the toads/Mount Myoboku is more likely at this point given Tobirama recognized the Mount Myoboku toad despite no connection to them himself(and the reason Gamakichi didn't recognize them being he's one of the youngest toads, wasn't alive for Hashirama/Tobirama). Fukasaku and Shima are several hundred years old and talked about using Gama Rinsho in the past when they used it with Jiraiya vs the 3 paths, so it was clear that they had been in extremely high stakes battles before Jiraiya(as Jiraiya himself had never seen or even heard of the technique before, despite having used SM multiple times in the past, noted by Fukasaku or Shima one stating "why do you always summon us in the middle of one of your rampages".

But who knows at this point. Your guess is as good as any.

True about Gamachichi and others, but given Katsuyu's explanation, she's the oldest thus, she should know him by now. The old generation seem to know a lot about those things, indeed, as Madara knew thanks to the Tablet about the whole Kaguya history, but that doesn't mean they necessarily have to be users, you know?
And indeed our guesses are good as the others, but taking the story overall, to me at least, it does incline in that part.

Meh, even Manda barely dodged her acid. Enma has no notable speed feats. Not to mention Katsuyu apparently has more chakra, thus she would outlast Enma.

This thing isn't bijuu size. Compare scans and you will see.

Comparing scans, Gamabunta was equal to 1 Tail and all of them were equal in size. And that portion was only a 5 percent Katsuyu. Now, double that size, as in 10 percent and it definitely makes her Bijuu sized.
Maybe she's as large as Saiken?
