Why they dont just put fillers?

Why AoT anime doesnt put fillers and dont take a year break,it would be very cool

im not saying some shity fillers but maybe some fillers with Levi's squad first missions,some flashback for some characters like Erwin/Levi/Jean/Sasha/Connie pretty much everyone also let show some of Mike Zakarius it would be great

If this idea leads to bad animation like naruto then hell to the no, i prefer to wait and i don't mind because i read the manga so yea i don't like fillers U_U

Because Fillers usually bring the ratings down..also there's 52 weeks in a year (assuming the anime returns exactly one year from where it ended) that mean we'll have a higher filler/canon ratio (52 filler episodes to 26 canon episodes) by the the time the anime returns. Many people don't even bother watching filler and less views=less money gained which will probably lead to crappy animation..

A year of filler will absolutely Kill the anime to the point of no return
