[Discussion] Predictions on the rest of the Dressrosa arc?

Just wanna see how people predict things will go down. Starting from chapter 724 onwards:
(I won't go too far in depth)

Green Bit:
Sanji and Doflamingo fight. Sanji goes all out and Doflamingo again isn't really trying. However Sanji then burns the strings and kicks Doflamingo into the water. The warships arrive and see Sanji doing so : The marines rescue him while the Sunny sails off to the other side of Dressrosa with Sanji,Caeser,Chopper,Nami,Brook,Momonosuke,Violet and Jora onboard (Jora will get kicked off when the ship docks).

The Marine battleships have high ranking officers. Including Helmeppo and Coby. High ranking marines on the island now:
-Admiral Fujitora
-Vice Admiral Bastille
-Captain Coby
-Lieutenant commander Helmeppo
-Another Vice Admiral (Or Garp : yes it's playing into my theory on Coby)

D Block:
Cavendish and Rebecca are taking the block by storm as most fighters are getting OS'd by the pair. Eventually leading to the two encountering each other as the last two standing. Cavendish two pages Rebecca and we learn that Cavendishes sword Durandel is one of the Meito which was designed to absorb the energy from an impact (This is how he blocked Chinjao). Cavendish turns out to be the winner of D Block.

Colloseum:
Meanwhile: Bartolomeo lets Zoro into the colloseum. Kine'mon is also allowed in and ventures off on his own toward the entrance to the factory. UNDER the armory. Cavendish attempts to kill Luffy again : but this time Zoro blocks him out of nowhere. Giving Bartolomeo even more to scream about.

Elsewhere:
The Tontottans and all their "lands" venture into the territory of the Donquixote pirates. Only to be met by most Marines from the battleships.

Colloseum
Luffy asks for Zoro to stand in for him. They exchange armor and mustache so that Zoro looks very similar to Lucy. The next rounds start:
Zoro vs Dellinger
Burgess vs Machvise
Bartolomeo vs Lao G
Cavendish vs Senor pink

All non Donquixote contestants win. And the next round commences.

Zoro vs Cavendish - Cavendish learns of Zoro's identity but gets stomped.
Burgess pulls out of his fight with Bartolomeo because of Blackbeards orders : he later encounters Bastille within the grounds and their battle is taken outside.
Bartolomeo then pulls out from fighting Zoro (for obvious reasons) leaving Zoro vs Diamante.

Luffy heads off to the ship (or where he thinks it is) and encounters law.

Elsewhere:
Fraland etc. stomp many marines and later encounter some of the weaker Donquixote pirates including Baby 5 and Buffalo.
Franky vs Baby 5 + Buffalo round 2 begins

Luffy encounters a recovering (weakened) Doflamingo. The two of them fight.

Law heads off to the colloseum and into the factory. To find Pica fighting and beating Kanjuurou + Kine'mon + Tontottans.
Pica destroys the sealing and therefore the fight is taken upstairs in the collosseum (not in the ring). Chinjao and his grandchildren intervene : allowing their new allies to escape.
Chinjao + Sai + Boo vs Pica begins

They head over to the ships new location. Fujitora, Gradius and Trebol and Jora are present and most strawhats have gone. There are two left are Sanji and Brook. Violet is also there.

Gradius turns out to have the Toy Toy fruit.

Trebol vs Sanji begins (it turns out he is whom Violet wants dead)

Fujitora tracks down Caeser. Law saves Caeser from being captured.

The Donquixote fighters arrive at the scene of the tontottans:
Robin vs Lao G
Usopp vs Dellinger
Chopper vs Senor Pink
Nami vs Machvise
all begin
The Toy soldier is missing. (We then see him with Rebecca in the colloseum.

We see Burgess sailing away : Bastille is dead. Coby and Helmeppo + Garp are outside the colosseum and meet CP0. CP0 state that their plan is to steal the fruit before either Lucy (currently Zoro) or Diamante wins it and to give it to Garp. They then tell him he has the right to choose who to give it to. Helmeppo announces that he would rather swim. Coby is open to the idea of posessing a devil fruit and Garp promises to give Coby the fruit.

Bartolomeo is then seen stomping Bellamy because Bellamy attempted to Kill Luffy on his way out.

Fights:
Franky wins high diff : unleashing Pacifista technology and turning out himself to be as hard as a pacifista.
Robin beats Lao G high diff
Chopper defeats Senor pink in Monster Point mid diff
Usopp and Nami team up and beat Dellinger and Machvise one at a time. Mid diff : this fight is humorous.
Violet beats Jora mid diff

all SH's above and Violet head to the ship and bring it round to near the Colloseum where they expect to find Luffy.

Chinjao alone defeats Pica. The strawhats find Sai , Boo and Bartolomeo fighting on the Ship. Bartolomeo's crew is in their ship next to Sunny. The strawhats break up the conflict and immediately both conflicting sides stop.

Brook wins his fight : mid diff. and thus all toys return to normal.
The Tontottans return to the Ship.
The Soldier (No longer a Toy) and Rebecca are heading to the palace and infiltrate it.

Zoro defeats Diamante after using Asura. But is unaware of the Mera Mera no Mi and simply walks off. CP0 snatch the fruit before anyone gets their hands on it. Coby receives the fruit. But does not eat it. Yet.

Luffy and Doflamingo's combat is still ongoing : the weakened Doflamingo forces Luffy to use his full power : Gear stacking with fire and lightning imbued attacks. Fujitora is sent over there as Luffy layed a hand on Doflamingo. Law etc. are saved as they were nearly killed. They escape to the Sunny. Luffy then pulls off an epic finisher move. (E.g. Gomu Gomu no Thor Jet Elephant Hawk Gatling) and Doflamingo lands in the sea and drowns. Luffy heads to the ship. Doflamingo is dead.

Fujitora reports to Sakazuki whom immediately inquires new bounties on all participants in the fights.

Everyone is at the Ship except Rebecca and the Toy whom take over the Palace. Luffy did one thing En Route to the Ship. He places Strawhat flags around the Island he claimed Dressrosa as their territory : leaving most people in shock. Rebecca thanks Luffy for his victory over Doflamingo and they venture their seperate ways. The pirates sail off on three boats. The alliance is boosted by the Barto club pirates and the Happou Navy.

The arc ends with the following:
Violet is invited onto the crew and is delighted to join. Coby eats the fruit within a confined room on the Battleship but feels no different. Coby is informed that with his new found strength his is promoted to Rear Admiral. Brannew slams new wanted posters on the blackboard : the Strawhats new bounties are unseen. We find out about them next arc. The final cliff hanger is that we see Kaidou's first mate talking to Kaidou about Doflamingo's death. We only see Kaidou's silhouette : but we see that he's very large.

The largest problem I have is that Robin, Franky, Nami, and Ussop's main fights become really crappy hand me downs... meaning with High difficulty, those four manage to beat people who ALREADY have been pummeled in the Arena. Makes me feel like these guys haven't really improved if they are being taken on by weakened members of the Arena.

Most likely Oda hasn't revealed everyone. I mean Pika has only been shadowed, and his only known soldier is Gladius.

I personally doubt Sanji can burn his strings (especially if he coats with Haki)... even if he can, Doflamingo can likely catch himself.

Green Bit:

Doflamingo will begin engaging Sanji. Though he isn't trying nearly as much as he could. He'll eventually make an opportunity to go over to the Sunny, and as Sanji rushes in fearing for his crew, Doflamingo tricks him and takes control over his body. Sanji then beats down Nami, Brook, Chopper, and Momonosuke. Before any killing blows can be dealt, Law uses himself and Ceaser to push off Doflamingo, and "Room" the ship away from Doflamingo. Fortunately, the wounds on the others aren't as severe as they could be... Chopper uses his medical prowess to help alleviate injury (showing off his refined skills). They have dropped off Jora, and pick up Violet. Having stopped at a secret port hidden from most (thanks to Violet), the crew can safely hide the Sunny. They embark to retrieve the rest of their Nakama.... Brook, Sanji, Chained Ceaser, and Violet remain behind.

Having entered into the Factory with Kinemon, the two get lost, but manage to run into Pika the Ace of Spades: In charge of protecting the factory. Kinemon moves to free his comrade. Along the way, he frees the "Slave Gladiators" Luffy just met.

Zoro vs Pika begins

Kinemon and his Ally use foxfire and whatever skill the other holds to destroy the factory.

Defeating Diamante, the Marines are ordered to storm the place in order to catch the fallen fighters. Before Luffy can get to Ace's fruit, CP-AIGIS0's leader takes it and retreats. Planning to go after them, Luffy is cut off by Vice Admiral Bastille. To his rescue comes Bartolomeo and Bellamy.

Bartolomeo and Bellamy vs Bastille begins

Moving into the streets, Luffy eventually runs into Coby and Helmeppo again. While having significantly improved, the duo are defeated/avoided by Luffy. CP-0 moves back to Green Bit where Doflamingo is still located. Telling Luffy what happened to his crew, Luffy drops the fruit pursuit and engages Doflamingo.

Having anticipated his move, Law moves back to Green Bit. Fortunately, Fujitora moves to oversee Civilian evacuation due to his pressing concern of the chaos that has engulfed the island.

Having been pissed off that his plans are awry, SSJ2 Gladius moves openly after the front lines... seeing that Ussoland is the figurehead of this rebellion that further ruins his plans, he moves to kill Ussop. He uses his Toy Fruit, and Ussop is only partially hit... turning his head into something like Pinocchio (or his nose).

The remaining members of CP-0 (possibly just one) have been assigned to kill Robin because she stands as a massive threat to the WG with her knowledge (her assassination being a prime directive of CP-0 as ordered by the Gorosei).

Having anticipated Violet's move after her betrayal, Gladius informs Trebel. Angrily suggesting he should deal with his rebellious underlings. Still emotionally disturbed from hitting Nami (and Nakama)... Sanji is temporarily unfit for combat. Trebel arrives bringing another formidable person from his team with him.

Brook and Violet vs Trebel and Unknown Club begins

Realizing that a woman is in danger, and that he can always repent... Sanji leaps into battle seeing Violet hurt.

Emerging from the Factory and such, Zoro (having heard of Bellamy's change), comes to his rescue against Bastille. Bellamy and Bartolomeo are then told to move to the ship with Kinemon and Ally. Momonosuke arrives having slipped away on his own, and guides the group retreats. Zoro stays to buy time.

Using a remote call sequence, Franky summons General Franky, and faces an army of Pacifista.

Concluding Moments

Doflamingo is defeated though the fight rages all around Dressrosa. Law gets taken down creating an opportunity for Luffy. Doflamingo finally loses being smashed into the thrown room of his palace. Having fought evenly with Bastille, Zoro retreats when Wicca arrives and forces him away (carrying him). The Straw Hats win their respective battles, and the people of Dressrosa become human again. Luffy stands at the top of the palace, and sees Rebecca and the Toy Soldier who (with the Dwarf Army) have managed to infiltrate/storm the palace.

Rebecca giving a huge thank you and wishes to know if they will be able to be friends/will meet again. The Sunny having gotten closer to the Palace, Luffy grapples on of his flags, and places it at the top of Dressrosa. Luffy proclaims his first foothold in the New world.

Don Chinjao, Bartolomeo, and Bellamy assist Luffy and Law from escaping back to the Sunny/prevent the marines from engaging. As the Marines begin making moves to turn on the DD pirates... a good number of Doflamingo's men begin to escape from the island... Bellamy having rallied them as the new head of the Doflamingo family.

Luffy gains Bartolomeo, Don Chinjao, and Bellamy as Allies.

Back in the palace floor... a bloodied Doflamino is finally shown without his glasses on. Fujitora walks into the room, and on a Den Den Mushi we hear him and Akainu having a conversation. When Akainu asks on Doflamingo's situation... Fujitora says, he fell in battle. Akainu doesn't question the meaning behind it.

Before his execution, Doflamingo gives off his crazy laugh, and a speech about how Law was right... his era had come and past before he could even see it.

I honestly would like to see Bellamy join, but my bet is on Violet. CP-0 may not fight, and if so... I imagine that it will end up being an unknown opponent, or the little girl as Robin's enemy.

Nami and Chopper vs Baby 5 + Buffalo begins

Having entered into the Factory with Kinemon, the two get lost, but manage to run into Pika the Ace of Spades: In charge of protecting the factory. Kinemon moves to free his comrade. Along the way, he frees the "Slave Gladiators" Luffy just met.

Kinemon and his Ally use foxfire and whatever skill the other holds to destroy the factory.

Defeating Diamante, the Marines are ordered to storm the place in order to catch the fallen fighters. Before Luffy can get to Ace's fruit, CP-AIGIS0's leader takes it and retreats. Planning to go after them, Luffy is cut off by Vice Admiral Bastille. To his rescue comes Bartolomeo and Bellamy.

Moving into the streets, Luffy eventually runs into Coby and Helmeppo again. While having significantly improved, the duo are defeated/avoided by Luffy. CP-0 moves back to Green Bit where Doflamingo is still located. Telling Luffy what happened to his crew, Luffy drops the fruit pursuit and engages Doflamingo.

Having anticipated his move, Law moves back to Green Bit. Fortunately, Fujitora moves to oversee Civilian evacuation due to his pressing concern of the chaos that has engulfed the island.

Having been pissed off that his plans are awry, SSJ2 Gladius moves openly after the front lines... seeing that Ussoland is the figurehead of this rebellion that further ruins his plans, he moves to kill Ussop. He uses his Toy Fruit, and Ussop is only partially hit... turning his head into something like Pinocchio (or his nose).

The remaining members of CP-0 (possibly just one) have been assigned to kill Robin because she stands as a massive threat to the WG with her knowledge (her assassination being a prime directive of CP-0 as ordered by the Gorosei).

Robin vs CP-AIGIS0 begins

Having anticipated Violet's move after her betrayal, Gladius informs Trebel. Angrily suggesting he should deal with his rebellious underlings. Still emotionally disturbed from hitting Nami (and Nakama)... Sanji is temporarily unfit for combat. Trebel arrives bringing another formidable person from his team with him.

Brook and Violet vs Trebel and Unknown Club begins

Realizing that a woman is in danger, and that he can always repent... Sanji leaps into battle seeing Violet hurt.

Emerging from the Factory and such, Zoro (having heard of Bellamy's change), comes to his rescue against Bastille. Bellamy and Bartolomeo are then told to move to the ship with Kinemon and Ally. Momonosuke arrives having slipped away on his own, and guides the group retreats. Zoro stays to buy time.

Using a remote call sequence, Franky summons General Franky, and faces an army of Pacifista.

Concluding Moments

Doflamingo is defeated though the fight rages all around Dressrosa. Law gets taken down creating an opportunity for Luffy. Doflamingo finally loses being smashed into the thrown room of his palace. Having fought evenly with Bastille, Zoro retreats when Wicca arrives and forces him away (carrying him). The Straw Hats win their respective battles, and the people of Dressrosa become human again. Luffy stands at the top of the palace, and sees Rebecca and the Toy Soldier who (with the Dwarf Army) have managed to infiltrate/storm the palace.

Rebecca giving a huge thank you and wishes to know if they will be able to be friends/will meet again. The Sunny having gotten closer to the Palace, Luffy grapples on of his flags, and places it at the top of Dressrosa. Luffy proclaims his first foothold in the New world.

Don Chinjao, Bartolomeo, and Bellamy assist Luffy and Law from escaping back to the Sunny/prevent the marines from engaging. As the Marines begin making moves to turn on the DD pirates... a good number of Doflamingo's men begin to escape from the island... Bellamy having rallied them as the new head of the Doflamingo family.

Luffy gains Bartolomeo, Don Chinjao, and Bellamy as Allies.

Back in the palace floor... a bloodied Doflamino is finally shown without his glasses on. Fujitora walks into the room, and on a Den Den Mushi we hear him and Akainu having a conversation. When Akainu asks on Doflamingo's situation... Fujitora says, he fell in battle. Akainu doesn't question the meaning behind it.

Before his execution, Doflamingo gives off his crazy laugh, and a speech about how Law was right... his era had come and past before he could even see it.


The arc ends with the following:

Violet is invited onto the crew and is delighted to join. Coby eats the fruit within a confined room on the Battleship but feels no different. Coby is informed that with his new found strength his is promoted to Rear Admiral. Brannew slams new wanted posters on the blackboard : the Strawhats new bounties are unseen. We find out about them next arc. The final cliff hanger is that we see Kaidou's first mate talking to Kaidou about Doflamingo's death. We only see Kaidou's silhouette : but we see that he's very large.

What are your predictions?



I honestly would like to see Bellamy join, but my bet is on Violet. CP-0 may not fight, and if so... I imagine that it will end up being an unknown opponent, or the little girl as Robin's enemy.

Another good prediction! My only question is what is the significance of Zoro wanting to compete in the tournament. Next to Kine'mon whom wants to access the factory beneath the Colloseum? If they're both there then there must be an important purpose. Especially as Bartolomeo COULD let them in.

Well I think the idea would was that he wanted to, and will be pissed at Luffy because he wasn't able to enter. I'd say he also needs to get into the arena because he needs to tell Luffy that "Shit be wack yo". It also shows that Zoro looks for Strong Opponents.

Going by reputation and rumors about Luffy's powers and what had been GLOBALLY TELEVISED : it's obviously Luffy whom is Lucy. If Zoro wore the same armor and they swapped fake facial hair then the audience wouldn't notice a single difference.
